Pape Rangers

Will update this review to positive if the devs ever address the following issues. Game isn't bad, just isn't that good. 1- Tons of spelling errors. How can you program a game and not copy/paste your item descriptions anything with spell check? There's no excuse for this many spell errors. 2- Only a single, bland grey map, which is filled with annoying terrain that impedes the players, but not the mobs. 3- Easiest setting is far too easy. Challenge setting isn't challenging because the mobs are just bullet sponges. That isn't how you incorporate challenge into a game! 4- Complete lack of manual aim. The entire game is auto-fire and auto-lame with only a dash button. Maybe reward player skill instead simply adding HP to mobs. 5- No meta progression. Even that is automatic in the form linear level improvement of weapons. So players simply keep losing until they A) roll health regen and B) level up any weapon to level 3 and they will clear "challenge" difficulty. Challenge difficulty is where you unlock the remaining weapons and all but 1 or 2 of the characters. There are a handful of characters that are only differentiated by + and - a couple basic stats...boring. After beating challenge difficulty once, I had no desire to play again. It's just too tiring and too annoying of a design to want to replay. It's sad seeing a game like this because the skill upgrades are great, the music is great and it just has a fun overall vibe going on. It just seems as if the devs decided not to finish it (or even bother spell checking literally anything) and pushed it out as is by adding HP to the mobs from the free prologue, 5 weapons and about as many characters.

Great bullet-hell game, well worth the 5bucks i really love the graphics style. +Add your controller support through steam and away you go.

Good, has the potential to be great, but isn't there yet. Pape Rangers is not on par with similar games like Nordic Ashes or Brotato. I wish there was a bit more substance here. However, the art style is excellent, and overall the game is a great deal of fun. Grab this when it is on sale, it's cheap. You'll enjoy this when you need to take a break from your regular rouge shooters.

A very decent survivor bullet heaven. It have alot of builds with some built in skill tree. Fun to experimenting with them in mission. At game start you can choose a character and a main weapon for mission. The game have no direct Meta progress, instead you unlock characters with milestones as also every character and weapon leveling up slowly unlocking permanent perks for them. The graphics is cute, clean and the gameplay is fluid. Recommended game of its genre.

Awesome game, reminds me of Brotato in some ways but with an emphasis on mastery/upgrade trees.

Still developing, but already one of the better survivor likes out there.

One of the better bullethells ive played in a while. Cheap and definitely worth a try.
