It's a very shaky start. This isn't a free game, I paid for it, so why am I getting in-game ads like it's a free mobile app? There's no option to turn them off or never show them again either. Very slimy. It's very simplistic. You run a bizarre tavern where occasionally people will come in and sit in absolute silence. There is no ambience like chatting, laughing, interacting in any way. Maybe add some ambience so the tavern actually feels like a tavern? You could even add different sounds for if customers are satisfied or not? Decorations do nothing. They cost money, and they get in the way, but they don't add appeal or reputation or improve the customer's mood or anything. It's like the developers thought hey we should add decorations, that's what other similar games have. Should we give them a purpose? No! You eventually get fairy helpers (staff), but with the exception of the dishwasher they're utterly useless, they move way too slowly and can only carry 1 object at a time. My tavern constantly feels empty. After 5 hours playing I've got about 10 tables, but only 2-3 of them are ever occupied. Where is everyone? My rep is sky high to the degree I could upgrade my tavern but no one is coming in. Some of the game mechanics are very buggy, for instance the doormat is supposed to lessen dirty footprints. It doesn't, in my experience it increases the dirty footprints you have to clean up 4 fold. The whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth from the word go with the in-game ads and never really went away. If this game is 90% off then maybe consider it, but there are better ways to spend your money.

I Really enjoyed this game up until you open a hotel and randomly start parking horses and feeding them?!, which is about 10 hours into the game (maybe less), then the game goes downhill from there, to upgrade the hotel you have to wait from half an hour to 2 hours IN REAL TIME!!!!!!!!!, this isnt clash of clans why would i wait for an hour and AFK in the game?, and the fairies (basically the staff) you hire can't produce perfect or even good products no matter how much you level them up, they will always produce normal quality, which ruins AFKing and waiting for upgrades and makes them unreliable, the game becomes such a chore after like 6 hours, which is a shame cause i really liked it at the start. make the fairies start producing good or perfect quality and become reliable to completely take care of the tavern THEN introduce the hotel and maybe even a new tavern, thats how you make the game longer but still enjoyable, not the real time upgrades, I'll never recover from the shock I faced when I realized that the "1 hour" upgrade is actually going to take an hour, absolutely not.

Absolutely loved this game, such a cozy game with great simulator mechanics. Just a little reminder, the employees you can hire, are fairies (a little sparkle) that flies around, so don't expect human formed employees.

You can change the prices, which will affect how many clients visit. Set prices high, fewer customers but higher per item gain. Want a busy travel tavern for the common man ? Set prices low and you will constantly have full tables. So you decide how busy you want to be. It's a fun loop and they did a good job gradually introducing options and mechanics. Simple but fun. "One More Time" turns out to be an apt name for their Studio.

I can tell the game is basic, I like the idea and I've played games like it, the speaking to customers has clearly improved based off of what I have read in previous experiences. The fact that it didn't let me make my own character made me not want to play the game at all unfortunately I bought it on sale and never downloaded it until a couple months later so I can't refund it, If only i could be the busty waitress I thought I could be

This game causes motion sickness badly, since It's a 3D game, and it requires me to turn the pitch axis to watch the floor too often.

When I first saw this I knew I would like it and now I can't stop playing it. This game is so fun from getting the drinks to cleaning the customers tables and unblocking the toilet. Please devs keep developing this game and making it bigger and better having sooo much fun with it. Recommend even if it isn't on sale.

It's pretty good. The tasks could be better instead of constantly just being, "Upgrade to the next level" or whatever it says. Could also go for an employee that refills drinks (if the game already has that, then ignore me).

The game is straightforward. If you'd ever think of how it is like to be Moe from The Simpsons, then you will love this game. Unlike Moe, this one is in Medieval Times and you will do more than pouring ales. The game is simple. You just manage the tavern by serving customers, cooking, washing dishes, and cleaning tables and floors while managing your money earned to buy ingredients, additional tables, or decorations for your tavern. The gameplay is fast paced because you will be fulfilling every order the customers asks you. Unlike time management games, the customers will always wait and will not leave until their order is fulfilled, though the only customers that are very impatient are those with urgent orders meaning that if you took too long, then that customer will leave and your reputation suffers. It can be hectic to handle, which is why you'll be able to get fairies to help you with the cleaning, cooking, or serving, but only if you supply them with fairy food. As you progress, there will be new customers and new items available. So if you like challenging yourself into fast-paced gameplay in running a bar, then this game is worth the fun and challenge.

I really wanted to like the game and on early stage s i did whie getting familiar with the core cycle It has well established core but lacks meta that makes games fun. For now, its very flat I hope devs will collect feedback and add more to the game: - more quests - more secrets - more furniture and other improvements - gambling games for patrons - maybe a human character/manager to interact with - it gets too boring when playing solo - .... list goes on and on.

This is one of those games that tricks you into thinking something big is around the corner — but it never is. Tavern Manager is addictive, sure. But so is any slot machine. The problem is, addiction isn't the same as engagement. You’re constantly clicking, upgrading, optimizing — but none of it means anything. There’s no real decision-making, no strategy, no payoff. Just grind. Constant, numbing, circular grind. What starts out as a cozy management game turns into an idle loop in disguise. You’re not running a dynamic tavern. You’re babysitting timers and watching numbers go up. That’s not management — that’s spreadsheet cosplay. It has potential. The art is charming. The vibe is there. But the gameplay? It’s empty. Skin-deep. Feels like a mobile idle game ported to PC without respect for the platform or the player. If you’re hoping for real progression, complexity, or a sense of building something meaningful — you won’t find it here. Just the same loop over and over again with marginal gains that barely change the experience. This game doesn’t value your time. Don’t let the addiction loop fool you into thinking otherwise.

I like this game, don't need concentration and u can watch smtg while hands are busy. But do smtg with ice!! It's crazy. I spend 15 min to make one bucket of ice. The ice just doesn't break or the game freezes completely🤷🏽‍♀️

Had a good 13 hours of fun with it, but quit before I got to the end. There's a pretty big map with all sorts of references and loot to get, the main gameplay loop is good until you get to about the final to last level, and everything looks and feels pretty polished. There's not much to say other than that it "just works". Lots of fun until about the point where you start building your hotel. The hotel for some reason is incredibly expensive, and since you're not yet done with the tavern upgrades, you have multiple things to save up for. This is also the point where you have enough workers to basically reduce your tasks to "make sure the workers are supplied". The high barrier to reach in combination with the reduction of your impact in the game makes it a waiting game. Waiting until you get to the next point, and then wait again to reach the next after that. I'd like it if at that point there's something new to do. Maybe it could be the hotel, but since it costs so much to even unlock it, I'm not motivated to do that. Get it on sale.

you manage taverns. thats basically it. the game itself is quite fun, albeit it could get too hectic at times but that's pretty much how it goes in the f&b service. however even though i welcome the fantasy aspect i'd much rather have the options to be able to hire humanoid cooks, cleaners, waitresses or bartenders with varying skill levels. those fairies are too damn slow, the only useful ones are the cleaner and dishwasher. the rest are too slow it'd be much faster if i was doing it myself. and i've unlocked all of them. one cleaner, one dishwasher, the rest are waitresses and they're still too damn slow. sure they help but its negligible

8/10 Great "chore" simulator! - The helper/fairy system is a little bit lacklaster: they're pretty slow, and can only produce "normal" quality food. Also, why they can't manage the hotel? - By the endgame, there is just too much running around for me (hotel/stables, but the huge tavern itself too). Also, there is a bug and sometimes the game just doesn't notify you about a new horse at the stables.

I had SO MUCH fun playing this simulator. It really just let my brain forget about the real world and focus on the customers! I love these types of games a lot! will def come back to it. <3 There were a few things I had an issue with: - Horses, they aren't my favorite thing in the world to have to do. Took time away from serving customers. - I don't know if I didn't utilize my fairies right, but honestly half the time I was doing like 95% of the brunt work. - The lady critic that came in: My 'clean' bar was at max and she -still- told me my tavern was disgusting and unclean. I only got like one good comment from her. - The ice part was WAY far. - We should be able to douse the stinky customers with a bucket of water, - though currently haven't tried that. - - I wasn't a fan of the Nobel seating style. I wish I could have put the dividers where I wanted them. - Put the dirty table symbol a bit higher so that way in a crowd of people I can actually spot which table. What I'd like to see: - It'd be fun to like work inside the hotel (I haven't finished building it yet.) - I would've loved to break up fights that happened in there. That'd be just another stresser during a rush. lmao - like 5% of the common folk never asked for anything from the Nobel menu, it'd have been nice for that to happen. Some did ask like what I recommenced but it was only wine, like- IF I'm going to recommend things, let me make like a whole meal for them rather than just -a- drink.
