I don't know what everyone is talking about this game is absolute peak. If you want to have a good time blowing stuff up and feeling like you're in a movie even after you've beaten the game, this is the game for you.

Its just all suit races! and drive though rings. Combat is limited and repetitive, No liberation progression that is the core that makes the Just cause games special.

Honestly, I wasnt able to get fully into the game, because its just too overwhelming. So many different gadgets and their... "options". its just confusing and very hard to master or even learn. Ive played just cause 2, just cause 3 and there were many new gadgets and mechanics which i get accustomed at the end and i enjoyed it. But just cause 4? Its just too much.

incredibly buggy game but still pretty fun, sadly you get basically nothing for blowing shit up in this game, so its worse than just cause 2 and 3. also why do helicopters take tank shells without dying but you can still tether them to the floor to kill them instantly?

It's good. To elaborate it's like "just cause 3" But with a bigger map (I think) and your grappling gun thingamabob can turn into a balloon and some other things. But it's worth playing for the story because it gives more insight on the main character Rico's story/background. But yeah play it NOW.

bought it through Xbox and purchased dlc's through Xbox found that there were more dlc's on here so i bought the complete edition on here for full price and no regrets just buy the game and experience hell yeah simulator. also i really have over 70 hours and still need to play more.

I enjoyed this game a good amount not as much as just cause 2 or 3 but it’s still a good game, the movement and grapple are probably the best in this game out of the just cause games and the gunplay is the best in my opinion, but the map is in my opinion too big and all though it’s beautiful I just wasn’t very intrigued by it, they got rid of a lot of things from jc3 that they shouldn’t of gear mods which I don’t think was the right choice and the story is very lack luster even for a just cause game, I really liked how the cars looked but I think they weren’t as good as jc3. In my opinion this game is like just cause 3 but a lot worse, it feels less fun and a lot of the time I caught myself playing just to finish the game rather than because I loved the game.

TLDR: universally worse than the 3rd game in every way. even on discount you'd be better served using the money you would have spent on this to pick up the dlc's for the last game and ignore this installment entirely. this is a distinctly worse entrance into the series than the 3rd game which already had the issue of being an always online game despite very obviously being a single player game to anyone with eyes. This is likely the result of square enix pushing to turn every game possible into a live service game that they can slap a subscription cost on and try to wring every dollar they can from the player base. in terms of how this installment manages to fumble the ball even further, the method of taking over new areas is far less enjoyable and intuitive than the simple targeted destruction of the 3rd game while managing to be distinctly more repetitive. the missions have a habit of glitching in such a way as to make them incomplete-able until you've died and reset them. while in a technical sense its more graphically impressive it does less with more, most areas feel uninteresting and dull where the 3rd game felt vibrant and alive. unlike in earlier games ammo for a particular weapon is exceedingly scarce forcing you to swap from weapons you enjoy to whatever the most common one in the area is all the time. this lack of resources is especially apparent in vehicles, where in the 3rd game vehicle ammunition was unlimited now it runs out rendering the vehicle practically useless all but immediately. additionally the plane flight controls which were already the worst controls in the 3rd game by a country mile are somehow even worse in this title reaching truly abysmal lows. finally the primary addition to the players kit in this game are modifiers to how the grappling line interacts with the world. in the 3rd tittle this was limited to reeling the player in to a location or drawing two objects together, a simple but elegant tool in the players arsenal... no longer is this the case, now you have to designate load outs for the hook including such wonders as booster rockets you can attach to objects an item which already existed in a better form in the 3rd game and still no one used them, pulling objects together but this time you need to control the rate at which it does so making it feel clunkier and less intuitive, and the poster child of the ""upgrade"" along with my personal 13th reason, a f***ing balloon you can attach to objects to temporarily lift them. a resounding failure all around. here's hoping if a 5th title comes out they reset to the third game remove the always online aspect and take the approach the had for the 3rd games dlc's of adding new and interesting mechanics on top of the old ones rather than trying to fix what isn't broken.

Personally, I found this game to be loads of fun. I've heard the reviews comparing this game to the previous installments, and I do agree on some fronts. However, I can't say I've ever walked away from this game feeling like I wasted my time. It's loads of fun, in the form of chaos. Solid 8/10 game. Not "S Tier," but certainly "A Tier" or "B Tier," at least.

This is kinda in between good and bad but for a breif summary, if you want to fuck around buy thus game, if you want to play a game with fun progression get just cause 3

First time I see a newer game in franchise has worse graphics than its predecessor.(Seriously JC-3 looks like next-gen. when you compare to this game) It is also less enjoyable. This game should have been come out before JC-3.

I love JC series, but this one has so many bugs and crashes that it makes it unplayable. Before starting it on modern hardware you'll have to heavily research the internet on how to solve all the problems.

Just Cause 3 with an EVEN WORSE keyboard-and-mouse control scheme. Seriously? 1 opens the map!? SHIFT for fine-aim!? And of course it keeps the terrible "backspace to go back" scheme that was TERRIBLE in JC3. Just Cause 2, a game released in 2009, plays so much better. Get that. Don't bother with this. (Or 3, for that matter.)

When I started Project Illapa the first thing you have to do is go to Quya, the game forces you to use fast travel to get there. I can't use fast travel. I searched on Google and looked at this forum and all I could find was that it said I had to complete the "Operation Whiteout" and "Wanay Extradition" scenarios. I did those but still no fast travel. I also read that you can't fast travel into a territory in conflict so I made sure the Quya area was in friends hands but still no fast travel. Any advice? Am I missing something? thank you

whilst i traveled solis i found: a raptor cage, a nuclear warhead, the mile high club hidden in a mountain and a observation deck for the moon also in a mountain. there is much more and much wierder stuff hidden in this paninsular. please search for it yourself

I love this game so much! (Except for the VERY BAD WORDS) Now I must say that I have heard that the story line is not very good; I personally I'm not here for the story line, I'm just here to blow things up. By the way, I play with a Radeon RX 590, Core i5-600 something, and 8GB of ram and Its great for me!

If you want to blow stuff up and feeling like you are a hero in a movie even. Then, go play JC3 not this one In JC4, it replace all the challenge to a not challenging challenge and there is no more blowing stuff up objective. For example, driving a bike in the sky without any jumping platform, use your wing suit to fly through 3 ring. It lost every blow thing stuff in JC3 and the wing suit challenge which I like the most.
