Played all tracks on Lunatic. Here is my review,
TLDR;
-Pros-
Great music selection
Tracks can provide a bit of challenge, but not too overwhelming if you warm up a bit
Across all tracks, most patterns are easy.
-Cons-
A few tracks are actually quite tough to play, if not, VERY difficult to do depending on your skill level.
If you are only into a certain genre of music then some tracks you might not like to play.
-Full Review-
Most tracks on this pack aren't overwhelmingly difficult. I really liked Aestivalis (Danmakukagura Edit). It is the only hardstyle genre track in that pack and it's not too difficult. Mirin brah? A few others I like were BURN IN HELL, 2345EASONS, and maybe Limnality. BURN IN HELL was pretty difficult, not too dense to the point where I can't keep up, but a good track to play with a goal to get pass, SS, and eventually full combo or just to have fun. I prefer Against, Perfect Cherry Blossom in EP2 over BURN IN HELL because the pattern is more fun for me. 2345EASONS isn't as hard as BURN IN HELL, but it has one or two patterns that are fairly hard. With enough time I could probably full combo the track. Limnality is a good track, but it's also difficult because of one pattern and how it's made dense and fast. I was able to SS and pass, but that one pattern will stop me from getting full combo. Only one track comes to mind that is VERY DIFFICULT to the point of OVERWHELMING like EP2's Gensoukyou Millennium - History Of The Moon, it is Unconscious Requiem (cosmobsp rmx). Somewhere in the middle and near the end of the track it has very dense, fast, and difficult patterns to play. I failed the song because of those parts. It's only one bad experience out of all the tracks you can play so it's a pretty good pack overall.
-Conclusion-
I would recommend this pack if you ALREADY have EP2. EP2 has a better track list which I find to be, Little Adiantum, Shout it Out Loud!!!, Against, Perfect Cherry Blossom, SAMURAI GHOST GIRL KILL! KILL! KILL!, Shinreibyou Akimatsuri, Shoutoku Densetsu ~ True Administrator, far away, Never Come Undone, Can't Look Away, Desire Drive, and Utakata, Ai no Mahoroba. Compared to EP3's BURN IN HELL, Aestivalis (Danmakukagura Edit), 2345EASONS, Gekokujoujou, Ayakashi set 14 Another ~ Yoru ga Oritekuru, Hollow Masquerade, WARNING X WARNING X WARNING, Gensou Kappa Kousinkyoku (feat. y t r), and Konya, Syojo jya Irarenai. That's 11 to 9 personally memorable tracks compared by the amount and quality of (genres) metal, rock/alternative, pop, hardstyle, and instrumental, etc. Don't get me wrong, by no means is EP3 bad. It's a really good pack, but if you plan to get it, I would recommend getting EP2 with it as well to have all of those good tracks. I don't really reference EP1 much because EP2 went miles higher, but TBH, just get the digital deluxe and save your money. Maybe when it's on discount too. EP4 isn't too far away and who knows what I will give that. Probably would recommend that too if they keep up this good pattern.
