Did you over watch Pokemon? You: Yes Did you ever think "Wow this Ash is an idiot. He has so many girls who like him and yet the only pussycat he ever sees is Meowth!"? You: Not really I- Well do I have a game for you! Yarimono is about a game about catching Yarimons (not Pokemons) and uncovering the mysteries of your partner Chikef who can one-shot any other Yarimon in the game. Most of the trainers you fight are girls and if you never downloaded a FREE patch that's about it. If you did download the free patch then you will notice that you have 2 yaridexes. Your Yarimondex where it shows all the Yarimons you caught. And your Yarimandex. This encyclopedia is what you want. This is why you bought this game. if your Yarimondex shows you the yarimons you saw/caught then your Yarimandex shows you the trainers you've spilled in. You see, with the patch, your partner Chikef gives Butta (the MC, which means you, also by the way Butta means Pig in Japanese... fatty!) the ability to alter reality itself. Because you are a pig, you altered reality to make it so that whenever a woman loses to you they have to pay by satisfying your... carnal desires. The art in this game, is amazing. Everything is animated, even the grunts and the throwaway characters. The main girls are especially beautiful, and especially animated with more care. There are hundreds of animated CGIs that you can get lost in. This game is a steal for how much it gives you. Yarimono is an amazing game that's not for everyone, but anyone who's into this genre will truly appreciate. Now let's tackle some of the complains people have for this game! 1. T-The patch you need to download is in another website. Sell the full game or don't sell at all!- Wrote some microcephalic addle-pate. You sir are a tourist. Most games in this genre operates in the same manner. Most of the time, the patch is free and this is one of those times. 2. W-Why does the website asks me to create an account.- The website is a storefront that sells some of its own games that can't be found on steam. It's not unusual for a website with a storefront to ask you to create an account. If you're old enough to buy and play this game, then you're old enough to have a burner email. 3. Steam made me download a patch and now my game is ruined!- Valid criticism. However, you can just reinstall the patch you've downloaded from the website (both main and dlc) to fix the game. At least that's what I did. You can also redownload the patch from the website to make sure that you're updated. For my case, just reinstalling the patch worked though. But this is a valid criticism, patch shouldn't break the game.

Game was good, no censorship spotted so far, not like the Japanese version on dlsite.

TDLR: I played the game entirely in Japanese. 8/10 One of the best monster catcher games I’ve paid for, in a while. If you don’t want to play for the NSFW then no problem! The story is actually good. And the gameplay is fun! (At least until you get OP or if you use the cheat skill the entire time) What is fun about the gameplay? Being able to defeat trainers *cheese* the fair way of course! (Trainers that are higher level than you by a LOT) The story is a slow start but gets more and more interesting the more you play. QOL: As you play the game you’ll earn extra exp. from fighting random Yarimonns. With that extra exp you can level up a Yarimonn to your current max level without any real grinding. Which is really nice late game when you catch something you want to use right away. (There is also a trader to trade in that extra exp. for money if you want/need more money) You can also access the “computer” anywhere. Meaning you can switch out your Yarimonns whenever you want a new one in your active party. Same with switching move sets in and out. Etc It was a creative way to introduce most tutorials in the game through the statues. (Random trainers as well) The game has rare Yarimann where [spoiler] you’ll see them run into somewhere. Be it a forest or a cave and you’ll be able to capture them. (They’ll be around level 50). In “secret” areas. Which I thought was pretty cool. Once you capture them you won’t be able to capture them again. (As far as I know) [/spoiler] The game actually has quite a few hidden areas/items to get. (mushrooms to level you up/that give money) You cannot buy items past 99. 99 is the max stack. It’ll keep taking money from you though… so be a little careful with that. Some NSFW scenes are missable. While some can’t be viewed again. For instance; [spoiler] the Nun masturbating in the rest area in the cave. (On the way to 和の里) [/spoiler] EDIT: After finishing the game. I think you can actually view those scenes again just in a different space. [spoiler] In the main control house[/spoiler] But there are new ones there as well so I’m keeping the above typed there. It kinda sucks how much dialog gets repeated. (also kinda expected) or choices don’t change much. For example [spoiler] there is a chick in the starting area around level 30. Right in front of a secret area. She gives you two options to fuck her. “Lovers” or “rough” type of thing. Both are in the same position. With the only difference being some new/different dialog. They do share some of the exact same dialog. Another example of dialog being used again are the gym “leaders” that give new moves. They don’t say exactly the same thing 100% of the time but there are repeated dialogs. Which could’ve been worded differently.[/spoiler] etc I haven’t played that many NSFW games so idk where to or how to rank this game but I’d say it’s one of the better pixel graphic ones.

Yarinomo is a good game given the pokemon nostalgia and the art of the sprites alone. The story makes little sense without the patch but is playable without. The artist for the human sprites is Nyuu koubou. If you know you know ;)

Whose idea was it to defeat all opponents in one hit? I think it was the most boring gaming experience I've ever had. Have you heard of Flow Theory?

A fun Pokemon clone with generous amount of Fanservice.

Best pokemon-like game I've ever played. The developer knows what part of pokemon was attractive. The story turned out to be quite touching, I wish pokemon can one day reach that level of story writing. The game itself had a few bug where it will freeze randomly(only the screen, all the functions are still there but you just could not see it). This happens kind of semi-regularly to the point where I almost save any moment I can... but this happened once again during the FINALE which really brought down the immersive experience... Nevertheless I would in fact recommend the game. (I only learnt afterwards that this game had next level adult content... well I think even without it the story is adult-appreciative level and I think very highly of this game as both a regular or an adult one)

Autosaves would be nice otherwise great game!
