Fera: The Sundered Tribes

It is true that the optimization isn't great. And the main features of the game are underwhelming. But the movement and exploration was genuinely awesome. I wish the monsters didn't teleport but rather ran from place to place. I also wish the tribe felt more lively. The devs are still working on it so optimization should still be coming. But they also are seriously struggling to make a revenue with the game and if it proves unsustainable to keep working on it I'm afraid the game will not get much better than what it currently is. I still had a fair amount of fun, I don't remember how much I paid for it but I would genuinely be satisfied paying just 9€ for this. It's pretty great for 9€ but some people wont be able to run it properly even with powerful GPUs so that's a bit sad.

This game is really fun and it's definitely not abandoned as I saw someone else in reviews state. Their last post was in January of this year, while at the time of writing this it's at the end of May. Their post before the January one was in November. I'm sure the devs are just hard at work to make Fera what it deserves to be. I personally enjoyed the few hours I've put in so far to the title and I'm absolutely playing more of it soon when I have some free time. Does it have to look like some ultra high spec game? No. I like the style it has now as it's extremely charming and I think the various monster fights are pretty good. While I agree that games need to be made well, I don't think its fair to say this title wasn't made well just because you think it doesn't run well on your high spec GPU at the fps you want it to run at. I run a 2070 SUPER and I'm above 30 fps that's more than enough I could ever ask for. The devs are doing great and I hope their financial situation gets better so they can finish the game as I look forward to seeing it hit a 1.0 release.
