General Experience
I didn't think I would like it, given the main character trope, however the story, art and gameplay were beyond the usual standard for these kinds of games. The characters are extremely likable and well designed. The gameplay loop is not overly repetitive, which is refreshing for a lot of these stat-based dating sims. The way to acquire and spend resources feels unique and the days are not overly punishing if you do things your own way. Overall one of the better games out there in the genre.
Adult Content
You need to download the patch on their website. There's two forms of content available, both of which get featured in a gallery post-game. All of the story interactions are non-animated well-detailed frames like a Visual Novel, while the others are overworld pixel sprites that are well animated. Each of the 8 characters you can romance has something like 4-5 scenes. The sprites are used to obtain memory points, around 12 or so sprites that are universal on all the characters. The content is generally vanilla, with the most stand out kink being water sports. It feels out of place, but maybe that's because I'm not a fan.
Complaints
Honestly the game could have used more UI elements. You're missing a history text log, and getting around the house could have used the map instead of the arrows. The game is meant to be windowed so scaling up gets a little rough. Probably not bad on a 1080p monitor, but it sucked on 1440p.
Replayability
Every time you beat the game you're allowed to carry over your stats, making unlocking all character scenes easy. In general you might do a regular playthrough, followed by a cleanup playthrough to acquire all the endings. You're allowed to fast forward to an ending once you meet the requirements, so it's pretty easy to get everything the second time around.
Extra Content
There's an expansion available for $10, which adds new scenes, voiced characters, and additional content to do. I'm not quite sure what exactly, but my own experience is with the DLC.
Achievements
No achievements required, but in-game there are 10 endings you can get which arguably is doing everything there is in the game.
Technical Issues
I didn't have any issues running the game, and it's performance gave me no trouble.
Value
It's generally $20, with a $10 expansion. I do suggest the DLC, so be sure to get the bundle to save. I think it's worth it at the base price, as the quality is pretty good. However, I ended up getting the bundle on sale for $8, which was a steal for the content. I highly recommend it, I look forward to the picking up the sequel.
