TerraScape is a lovely tile placement/settlement building game, though after beating every scenario in it, every challenge map, I have to say - it is more a puzzle game than a builder. In my humble opinion, it is not a bad thing. I had quite a lot of fun figuring out and solving each island, I especially enjoyed the ones where you have limited tiles and buildings, and it is up to you to decide how to achieve a score goal for the level. Retrying, learning how each building (merged or normal) affects one another is key - it is a fun, learning experience that requires you to think a bit. An easy recommend.

This is an absolute gem of a game. It offers puzzling combined with city building elements. You have different decks and different ways to approach the game. Each deck has unique interactions with others and therefore require some tactical and strategic placement. The game has loads of QoL aspects, making planning easier and therefore solving the puzzle better. It has some nice mechanics (merging building to bigger complexes) and offers a lot of replayability. It has sandbox, scenarios and puzzle terras, so enough playtime for the amount of money spent. Lastly, it looks great and has nice music.

To be 100% honest, I bought this game by accident because I got it confused with Terra Nil, but it actually turned out to be really fun and I am glad to own it. Definitely recommend if you like city builders and puzzle games.

Great game. Good replayability. Very challenging. Sort of a roguelike terrain builder with some simcity like elements.

Awesome little puzzle game. Relaxing in the sense of having no pressure from things like settler resource requirements or external dangers, challenging in the spatial planning and working with the cards you have to avoid stepping on yourself later.

A fantastic Islanders-like with satisfying mechanics. Play a co-op game figuring out the different types of buildings and then switch over to the versus mode where you can say "get swamped idiot" and completely ruin your friends' plans.
