[strike]Lovely little game, but no saving in multiplayer a year after a full release is absurd.[/strike] Edit: No saving is only for LAN. Ruined our mood after a 1.5-hour gaming session; playing not on LAN afterwards was completely fine. Thanks to the dev for the reply. The game is nice overall.

This game is awesome! I wish there was a way of saving the game for multiplayer, that's my only complaint. Other than that, worth the buy!!!

This seems almost like an evolution of Dorfromantik, Civilisation, any any deck builder game... It is AWESOME. One thing to note though is that the description doesn't seem to depict the game well imo, was going in thinking it was a community builder style thing but it is heavily puzzle and deck related. - Things I love - - The deck mechanics give it a great challenge - Progression trees - Weekly challenges - Merging to evolve buildings - Strategic, rogueish lite/like puzzle??? - Graphics, it looks beautiful - multiplayer - Things that could improve - - The description/ insights of the game - more merging/ complexity/ further development of already developed buildings. - I had to go to the menu and reset the tutorial to actually get any tutorial at all, might have just been me though, but was quite confused to begin with before i found the option to get the tutorial in the first place - Maybe random match ups for competitive co-op? I enjoyed the multiplayer aspect a lot, but it would be fun to be able to play with anyone, rather than joining a lobby manually.

One of the best puzzle-builders ever! Easy mechanics allow focus on problem-solving!

Two friends and I played this game in coop multiplayer. Can't recommend it, here's why: - For one of us, the game kept crashing after a couple of minutes of playing, on an otherwise rock-solid computer. - After one such crash, we reloaded the savegame and re-joined the session. Right after joining, the game flagged one of my friends as cheater. Huh? - The game decided - seemingly at random - who's turn it was. We had instances of turns going A->B->A, skipping player C. No fun for you, buddy? - The game sometimes abruptly ended our turns without any indication as to why. For example when it was my turn, I wanted to place a building (clicked its card, hovered over potential building spots, got shown in green that I could place it there), but suddenly it was the next player's turn before I could do anything. Why? Was I too slow? Did the next player somehow "steal" my turn? Was it a glitch? If this was a game rule, the game failed to indicate anything in that direction. Very frustrating experience. - The GPU fans spun up to max speed for all of us. I've played games with way more impressive graphics while my GPU ran silent. Something is terribly wrong with this game's optimization. [Edit] - Another thing that kept happening was that the card drawing UI popped up on its own, blocking my view partially. In these instances, I did not click the "draw cards" button in the lower right, I even dismissed the popup with the little down arrow. This was annoying. In short, this feels like a beta or early access version where core game mechanics still need to be ironed out. Until they are, look elsewhere. Not recommended.

When starting, it seems like simple placing and clicking, wondering why place something where. But then, after an hour or two, things start to come together. The puzzles are really helpful for that, that is, when you go for the gold standard. And you should. Love it. Now I need some time.

This game really clicks once you get the hang of utilising merged buildings. Best execution I've seen of the puzzle-citybuilder genre so far.

This is such a cool game - I love using the smaller buildings to make bigger, merged buildings. It was still a bit buggy when I bought it as early access, but they've done some great work on it. I now find it a bit heavy-going for my computer, but very much the fault of the computer not the game. I've had hundreds of hours of joy out of this game, and it's the first thing I'd buy if my laptop was not so weak.

Pros : Gorgeous art, and updates are making it better. Relaxing, but can be challenging if you want to minmax and strategize for numbers. Balance updates are making the minmax aspect better. Good music Cons: Quite slow for how "small" the quantity of game content being loaded is. Patches have made this a bit better. Not great in terms of empire roleplay: there is no penalty for building far away from keep, little connection between different biomes you are building. Some changes have made this aspect a bit better. Overall a great buy, and a lot of fun time. Especially recommended for fan of turn-based, base building genre

Awesome game, perfect to chill and still do a bit of strategy, just the cards drawing odds are a bit weird sometimes

As a Carcassonne, Dominion, and Civ enjoyer, I found myself enthralled in the strategy that this game provides. The presentation as far as UI is concerned is really nice for this genre, but there are performance issues (at the time I'm writing this) when you play larger maps with water and fish. Something about either the way the game renders these things or a slight memory leak from leaving the game running for hours takes a dip on the QOL. Additionally, I'm not totally sure why, but when loading saves, Terrascape will stutter for a third of a second before loading the next save in sequence, and it will do this for ALL of your saves in the list, rendering you in-actionable until they've all loaded. For those reasons this strikes me way more as an early access game, with basic concepts but deep fulfillment on their execution. I'm really interested to see where the game will go in the future, and overall recommend picking this up for full price if you're like me - and if you're not, grab it while it's on sale, you won't regret it.

An excellent puzzle game that reminds me of a mix between Anno and Dorfromantik. Well worth its price tag!

very relaxing while still keeping me engaged and easy to pick up even in short bursts. Its a surprisingly large game in that there are lots of things to discover and a lot of options for game setup within that I've never played the same thing twice. it has quickly become a staple in my week.

Didnt expect game to pull me in so much. Came to check interesting idea and was impressed with details in models but stayed for puzzles. Progression is well made and u got diffrent options in modes on how u can progress. Puzzles having diffrent medals make it easy to go to new levels but pushes u to think more if u want that sweet sweet gold. Like honestly i got no negatives beside some quality of life things that i wish i had but they are super specific as game already got alot of things to make it easier.

Upgrading the game causes a loss of all progress since the developer claims that they rebalance everything, but it appears that they just simply change the save file format and they enforce all players forfeiting all existing progress. Not a bad game to be honest, but I wouldn't recommend a game that ruins all of my previous efforts put into the game before the release without any save file upgrade option. Also their "optimisation" is very effective, the save file increases to nearly four times the original size. Honestly this is the first time I see a Unity game writing the whole save content (seems to be compressed and encrypted) in Base64 and then mixing the Base64 value with some binary data.

This is an absolute gem of a game. It offers puzzling combined with city building elements. You have different decks and different ways to approach the game. Each deck has unique interactions with others and therefore require some tactical and strategic placement. The game has loads of QoL aspects, making planning easier and therefore solving the puzzle better. It has some nice mechanics (merging building to bigger complexes) and offers a lot of replayability. It has sandbox, scenarios and puzzle terras, so enough playtime for the amount of money spent. Lastly, it looks great and has nice music.

To be 100% honest, I bought this game by accident because I got it confused with Terra Nil, but it actually turned out to be really fun and I am glad to own it. Definitely recommend if you like city builders and puzzle games.
