I have a LOVE & HATE relationship with this game. It's one of the best building games out there and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who gets in the SIMS or Minecraft just for the building. Building is basically limitless but the issue I have with it is that it can be very finicky at times. I hate that you have to click on a window or a door repeatedly to try and find the right clutter. I spent about fifteen minutes the other day trying to get an anvil. I know the developers have expressed that they have no interest in adding an interior aspect to the game but I really think they should. I would even pay money for it as a dlc or something. Indoor clutter would be great even if they didn't add an interior to the game. Indoor clutter like beds, counters, bookshelves would still give players the ability to customize their builds, because like many others I build interiors. It's a great game and definitely worth the time and money spent on it but it could certainly be better than that.

When I worked in child care, during quiet time I'd sit somewhere where I could see the rest of the room and use some colorful wooden block to build little castles. Sometimes kids would come by to help out. I found it rather relaxing. But after leaving that job, I didn't think much about it until I stumbled across this game in a youtube video.
Almost immediately I fell in love with this game. It is so lovingly put together and is a joy to experiment and play around with. When I bought this game for myself, I found myself giggling at how simple and beautiful making things in this game was. It's like playing with a miniature play set.
This felt like I was back in that small rec room building castles, only the buildings didn't topple over so easily and it was a lot prettier.
I've been playing this after work to distress and man it's so nice to just zone out and build something small and insignificant. To not feel like everything I make has to add up to something bigger.
Cannot recommend this game enough!

9/10! Gameplay, music and art style is perfect. Would have been a perfect 10 if there were tiny villagers walking around between houses, watering the flowers, sitting on benches etc. Highly recommended!

When I first started playing (first 20mins or so), I was underwhelmed and planned to get a refund. There were so few buttons and so few mechanics, how could I make it work exactly as I want it? So underpowered, right? Not worth the $15 bucks, I thought foolishly.
I stuck with it a bit longer and began to realize just how many interactions between different props, tools, and structures have, and how exponentially the game grows when you decide to mix them together. So far I still haven't figured out if you can place the little props on your own or if you can modify the flowers and trees to make different types, but honestly, I think the game is fine without these features. This game relies on mapping the large number of behaviors and interactions between different concepts as opposed to the standard "spam new features to keep players distracted" technique most games use. I can get behind it.
Tiny Glade is a sandbox building game in the same way SpaceEngine is a space simulation game: not *exactly* a game, more of a fun toy where you can chill out, mess around, and ogle at pretty graphics. I plan to use this regularly to relax more effectively. Refunding is no longer on the table
If anyone knows how to do the following, please let me know:
- ponds/water features at higher elevations (currently they cut way into the terrain and make big pits)
- manually placing the smaller props that get automatically generated
- modifying trees and flower patches after placement
- making walls have variable heights along their length
Dear devs: I love you, keep doing what you're doing and making games in the way you see fit.

Was really excited for this, but I ended up refunding after seeing the size of the buildable area, with no way of making it bigger. Everyone says "just build smaller/smarter" but that is not a solution, Please consider adding an option for larger build areas!

Tiny glade is like giving your brain a warm blanket and a cup of tea. No goals, no stress, just you making little castles and villages that look like they popped out of a story book. Super intuitive, super cozy and the sheep? Iconic.
if you've ever wanted to vibe out and accidentally become a medieval architect. This is your game!
10/10 would lose hours vibing again

Great game. Wish some things could be changed, but its new and more stuff is coming. I'm hopeful better mechanics will be implemented soon.

As with all the other reviews, it's damn near perfect. The creation mechanics are astounding and incredibly satisfying both visually and audibly. My only critique would be that I wish I could at least MOVE or place animals to my liking to give the world more life, possibly add people, (although I know that kinda goes against what they have going right now) and I wish there were more light sources than lanterns. Its killing me that I cant place torches or make campfires. Amazing game though, BEYOND ADDICTING.

Tiny Glade is a peaceful and charming sandbox experience that invites players into a world where creativity flows without pressure or constraints. Rather than focusing on objectives, resource management, or survival, the game simply allows you to build. You’re given a blank, grassy canvas to sketch out winding paths, cozy stone walls, rustic towers, and tranquil gardens. As you draw, the world responds—arches appear automatically, vines climb gently up walls, and sheep wander lazily through your creations. It’s not just a building game; it’s a meditation on the joy of design and simplicity.
What makes Tiny Glade stand out is its intuitive, grid-free building system. You don’t select from menus or follow rigid blueprints—everything is drawn freely. When you trace a line, walls appear; when those walls intersect, the game fills in the gaps with charming procedural logic, creating windows, balconies, and support beams on its own. It feels like you’re guiding the landscape more than constructing it, letting it shape itself in beautiful and often surprising ways. There’s a constant sense of organic evolution, where every nudge can lead to something delightful.
The visual and auditory atmosphere is an integral part of the experience. Soft, warm lighting shifts with the day-night cycle, and small details—like flickering lanterns, sparkling fireflies, and fluttering banners—bring your creations to life. The ambient sounds of rustling grass, trickling water, and occasional sheep bleats create a gentle soundscape that’s as relaxing as it is immersive. You can explore your builds with a free camera or even a first-person view, capturing screenshots that feel like illustrations from a storybook.
Though the experience is meant to be relaxing, it does come with a few gentle limitations. The building space is relatively small, which might frustrate those hoping for sprawling projects. Some of the mechanics—such as how windows merge or how certain structures auto-generate—aren’t explicitly explained, requiring trial and error. While this lends itself well to organic discovery, it can occasionally interrupt the otherwise effortless flow of building. Additionally, a few users have reported rare issues with save data syncing, making manual backups a wise precaution for those deeply invested in their designs.
Even with these minor constraints, Tiny Glade has been warmly embraced by players who appreciate its laid-back approach. It doesn’t try to be a deep simulation or a complex strategy game—it simply wants you to unwind, build something beautiful, and enjoy the process. It’s a space to explore creativity without the pressure of goals, timers, or failure states. In a gaming landscape filled with intensity and competition, Tiny Glade offers a welcome pause, a quiet glen where imagination and calm take center stage. For anyone looking for a gentle, artistic retreat, it’s an experience well worth having.

I really LOVE this game, but its so bare bones. I would not have bought it yet if I saw how little was in the game. You can certainly do a lot with little, but after a while it gets repetitive quick and at times it feels your control is taken from you.
Add more customization/items and I will update to YES in a heartbeat.
This is 100% an early access game even though I can't find early access stated anywhere.

i loved sims so this is like if sims was medieval building which i lurv
the clutter options are cool but like would be better if you had a separate tab to find the right clutter and not just like spam click on a window till you got the right stuff
also the sheep with the umbrellas are SO CUTE and when they follow your cursor for a bit after clicking on them its cute

Very cute and fun, but I feel like it could use a bit more added to it. Maybe include animals you can add to your little town, people walking around, people to run the little stores you make as well as customers to interact with them and more decoration options

The childlike joy this game provides is unmatched. Whimsy like you wouldn't believe. Want to *build* a studio ghibli movie? You're in luck idiot this is the game for that. Gotta dive back in now, the real world just isn't whimsical enough.

I think this game is great in many ways. It feels like a cup of tea. Or a blanket on a cold day. I think the developers couldn't have done better with it in its early days. And I can't wait to see what they do with it now!

I love this game a lot! however i wish there was a larger area/plot of land to make an even bigger city. The space feels far too tiny for all I want to do. You have what seems like miles of space but its actually confined to a very small square. I cannot freely make it as big as I wanted to forcing me to make very cramped cities with miles of nothing but grass and a few trees.

Tiny Glade is sooo beautiful. This game is therapeutic and relaxing and I love that there are no rules, no quests/tasks, etc. You can play it at your own pace and little by little your creation comes to life and that in itself is so rewarding. 10/10!

This is more a toy than a game, something you can fiddle with and create a picturesque diorama and take pictures of. If you know what it is going in, it's an easy recommendation. You're not here for gameplay and unlocking secrets. You're here to experiment, like Legos, and create something pretty.

There really isn't anything to complain about; it's supposed to be a relaxing game and it is. The developers are active and the game's already amazing as is, so I'm excited to see where it goes from here. 10/10, would recommend.

I get why people like this game, I do. But for the price of the content, I can't say I recommend it.
The customization options and abilities are very limited. I honestly thought I had accidentally opened a demo at first, or that there was more to unlock later. but there is not. It also makes a lot of decisions for you. I know that, with some finagling, you can create a lot of cool stuff, but the way the game is actively pushing against you and trying to make things look how it wants really agitated me.
If you like restrictive building challenges, and I know some people do, then you will probably like it. But it's just not for me. Especially for the price.

I understand that some people might like it and I really wanted to like it but it's utterly boring. The fact that you have to find out how to build stuff is frustrating. Was is too much to ask to include different building options? Too much coding to make an in-game menu that lets you select even something as basic as stairs???
Uninstalled after just one hour. Maybe will reconsider my review if this changes.

Once I figured out how to do things and fully understand what Tiny Glade is.
I was already deeply enamored by the art style and vibe this game gave off in the video clips on Tiny Glade's storepage.
But actually playing it and having it click lin my mind.. That feelinh was just something so one of a kind and one that I will never forget.
Thank you to the Dev (or Devs) for creating this. I cannot wait to see where you take it from here.
Thank you for brightening my world in my dark times. < 3
Aloha Hawaii.

Thoroughly enjoyable game, amazing soundtrack that backs the game's VERY satisfying gameplay loop; and on top of that you get stunning visuals (and some very cute sheep to boot). My only non-positive comments are that the controls can handle about as good as a tryna steer a boat with your buttcheeks, however after some time you'll get used to em (I have 6 hours on log as of typing this comment). There is also no interior design or animal spawning abilities (which if added would give a more "lived-in" feel to the game) which I did find admittedly disappointing but other than that the game is a solid 9/10 if you just want a game to shut your brain off to and do some creating. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys The Sims or similar titles.

This game is simply amazing and it's not even the full release. Just.. wow. A masterpiece of sandbox games, one of the best, if not straight up the best game in this genre I've ever played. Actually relaxing to the point of addiction and visually very satisfying.
My gf (an avid lifelong gamer) loved it too.
Can't wait for the updates! Hopefully some non-western civilization skins?

Super fun and relaxing game. Your only limit is your imagination for how intricate your dioramas can be, but even that's not a limitation because there's tons of guides to help you realize the full potential of your glades.
Very worth the money in my opinion if you'd like a game with no objectives, no timers, and no worries to spend some time in. <3

I bought this game yesterday and I've already sunk more than six hours into it. Do I really need to say much more than that? The graphics are bright and gorgeous, the game as a whole is incredibly relaxing, easy to pick up and learn along the way. It's not really a game, anyways. Just build yourself a little settlement or town or a big kingdom. Whatever your heart desires. And pet some ducks and sheep while you're at it. <3

sooo cozy and very creative with the control scheme and combining for different variants of what you're making. the onnnllllyyyy 2 things it needs is just generally more things to use in builds and different styles or materials for things like walls and roofs as well as being able to raise water level or just filling deep holes with water. other than that id say this is a perfect game!!

awesome games, needs A LOT more buildings and options + a open world would be nice i want to make giant city for example or maybe add other ages such as modern or futuristic perhaps you could also add little npcs walking from and to buildings on the paths, and for other concepts such as futuristic youd have trains and cars boats etc anyways a multiplayer mode would be amazing where 2 people can work on 1 map together obviously this would need a expanded map but it boils back to what i wrote earlier. 10/10 tho would recommend
