I just bought the game and been finding matches quickly. I like the game so far and understand other players may hate it but I definitely believe some players just have skill issues and just need to get good.

Returned it but the servers were mostly empty ig it was a lil fun but I dont see a future for this game if they dont do smth

Pretty cool game. True to source meterial I just wish there was a single player campaign. Not enough content, locked behind store.

------Update----- * Rough movement * Survivors easy to die * After being beaten by clowns, the survivor gets stuck on the ground, unable to run, even though he has stamina - There should be a dash after taking a lot of beatings instead of getting stuck on the ground, unable to run (I'm not talking about being incapacitated, but after taking a hit). - Survivors could at least have equipment to put on according to how athletic, tough, clever and heroic you are. My experience playing and that of some friends who still play: Sometimes you feel like an idiot for dying easily because the game is weird and you get stuck on the ground, unable to run after being hit by the clown. Clowns have a 90% better chance against the survivor, the mechanics are shit in this game and that's exactly why no one is playing this shit. Who's going to play this shit to die so easily? That's why there are more bots than players, the game was designed only for killers and they forgot that 7, I said 7 players are survivors. Old opnion: Game favorable to clowns, I can't even move. Doesn't enter lobby with people of the same level, completely unbalanced. Dies in seconds and several cheaters on the console (PSN) using modifier in cronuszen with script. Rating 0 for so many cheaters.

New updates and balances have made this an enjoyable game. Recommend for casual and serious players alike. Environment is casual, and don't let the haters influence your experience. 10 out of 10.

The game is SUPER fun and really well balanced on both sides. It can be played competitively or just for fun, it's a really great time either way. Matchmaking is quick, too. Overall a really amazing game, but $40 is a ridiculous price point. Not nearly enough content for forty bucks. I recommend getting it on a sale.

Been having a lot of fun playing but I think is worth mentioning the context: 1) I bought this at a big discount during the anniversary update 2) There where quite a few new players from both the sale and a free weekend to play on Xbox, which meant I wasn't getting klowned too hard when learning the game 3) I liked the gameplay already from watching a few videos and felt it was similar to F13th 4) There was a x2 XP event that helped me unlock some of the cosmetics/classes quicker Its a fun game, does not take long to understand the mechanics, and most people playing are chill. Currently I am doing some of the challenges that give you free cosmetics to squeeze more fun from it.

To be honest, I'm having a lot of fun with the game. It has everything I want (or would find fun) in Dead by Daylight: proximity chat, more quests and escape routes, and the chance to play killer with my friends. The servers are pretty dead, it's true. You often end up in a lobby with the same people (there are people who are still actively playing the game) or have bots on your team for a certain amount of time. Personally, that doesn't bother me (that can change over time, haha). I wouldn't buy the game until it's on sale, because €40 is just too much. If you like the game, you can also support the makers by buying skins (the skins aren't expensive). I hope the game continues to develop and gets more players. I really see a lot of potential.

This game is a TON of Fun! don't let Steamdb's low numbers fool you into not trying it, Consoles still have a LOT of players. i get matches in around 15 to 30 seconds average. even at 3AM!

Its design puts most asymms to shame, starting with being a 7 vs 3 player game, so both sides can use teamwork, while also hitting on a bunch of other points that most of the genre has failed to even consider. For instance, both sides have an objective other than 'kill the other side' that they can use to get points and turn the game in their favor. Each of the escape options for the human players can only take 3 people out of the 7 on the human team, so there are risks, cooperation and backstabbing to consider. You're never entirely knocked out of the game, since being dead gives you minigames that can spawn items for the other players, and possibly revive you... I was sure as hell not expecting a Killer Klowns game to be a perfect storm of good game design decisions, but that's what I played. Another shock was a game that isn't a cheap bastards with its advancement system. Everything mechanical (archetypes, weapons, loadout slots) is unlocked by account level, while every class has an entire list of challenges for cosmetic unlocks. Even better, only one challenge from each class actually requires playing that class! It's been a loooooooong time since I've played a multiplayer game with a progression system that wasn't punishing, stingy or pointless (or possibly all three). That said, the gameplay can feel clunky and unpolished despite all those good features, so the devs need to spend some time making this shockingly fun concept live up to its potential.

This game is a PERFECT representation of the movie. The weapons are fresh and original, and the cotton candy cacoon throwing mechanism is just peak. I would buy 10/10.

There's just something so funny about chasing someone down as a clown while my shoes are constantly squeaking or beating the shit out of a dwarf clown with a baseball bat while the other clowns watch. It's a horror game with some comedy added to it which scratches my itch. Wish it had a bigger fanbase and more pc players

This game is so fun! Its funny to play with friends and family and is such a good game if your into scary comedy stuff. I definitely recommend this game! 10/10 MOST DEFINITELY!

Simple but fun. Has some nice features to keep players interested in staying the whole match even if they die. Would recommend if you can get it on the cheap.

That’s right, unlike Dead by Daylight, where survivors scream and die dramatically, here you can punch a Klown in the nose and win. And honestly? That makes it way more fun. The game is a love letter to the original movie—popcorn guns, killer balloon animals, and way too many clown puns. Playing as a Klown is absolute chaos, and escaping as a human can actually be intense. But real talk: the grind to level 100 is no joke. It feels like trying to escape a funhouse mirror maze while blindfolded. XP comes slow, and after a while, matches start to blur together. Still, if you're in it for the long haul or playing with friends, it stays entertaining. Fun game but it needs to get rid of some annoying mechanics. Meeting point should be shown for way longer. Whatever the fear mechanic is should be removed as well.

good game a bit confusing at first for sure and like most reviews say it is a little dead at certain times but over all its a pretty good game (i love the movie so could be bias) , lowkey reminds me of DBD

As someone who has probably played too many of these kinda games, I'm glad each one I try brings enough to keep it feeling fresh, the dynamic of not only being multiple "Killers" but them not being an unstoppable killing machine lends a feeling of tension to every encounter as a well prepared "Survivor" will quickly make short work of you. This encourages the killers to work together, and the need for the survivors to have the right equipment also means cooperation is key. Some folks are saying the game is dead but picking this up I've not had a wait for more than a minute to get into a game, and very few games have less than the full roster of players. If this looks interesting to you, pick it up, don't join the hundreds of people screaming "DEAD GAME" and instead spend some money and have fun!

Refunded because it was boring. Has potential but it's too buggy and klowns just camp, humans just try and team up to bully. Felt boring for a new player trying to learn either role.

Game felt kinda cheap and the gameplay on both sites is boring. And on top it takes kinda long to find a half full lobby. Not even worth the 11 bucks it cost me.

Multiple escape routes is pretty awesome, you can attack the killers, and that's a plus.

Love Everything About this Game Only issue I have is constantly getting stuck on things while in a match it's annoying...

The core game is insanely fun : 3 Klowns vs 7 humans Humans have to escape from : -A barricaded bridge, you need to break the barricade, find a key to open the fence and leave -A boat, you have to refuel, repair, and restart it -A bunker, you have to refuel it and find a VIP card -A Klown teleporter, you have to repair it The Klowns have to kill the humans and prevent them from escaping : -Cocoon humans using your ranged gun, and hook them (most safe) -Down them using melee weapons and execute them (Risk of being outrunned/risk of being killed) The more cocoons you hook to the hook machines, the stronger you get from unlocked abilities, each cocoon will also spawn a minion which will guard the area and you can throw them cocoon that they will bring automatically near hook machines Klowns abilities : -(Every Klown) The ability to teleport to an explored area -(Every Klown) LOL (Yes it's the name), you regenerate lost health and get a bonus to your stats (Faster, more enduring) for 15s -Unique ability, there are 4 that you can choose freely : -Spawning a little balloon dog that will bark in the direction of human during some time -Getting in a Klown car, you are faster and if you hit an human he is stunned -Transform into a pizzabox to sneak on humans -Lure an human to you A match have a timer of 15min after : A huge pinky apocalypse will cocoon every human -Humans can escape from a special pizza truck If Klowns fills every hook machine, the apocalypse comes before the end of the timer Why is it fun ? -You noticed I said "Regen health" for Klowns, humans can battle the Klowns, generally 1 Klown overpower an human but with the right weapons (Shotguns, brick throw), into an ambush, a small Klown (you have 5 different type of Klowns to choose from : a small one that goes fast but not resistant at all) can die. You of course respawn after 30-40 seconds depending of how many cocoons you hooked. 1 Klown vs 2 humans is much more dangerous, as one human can stun you with a baseball bat and the other stab you, shoot you. The huge team fights are extremely funny, when you get 5-6 humans vs 3 Klowns, it goes everywhere. -Items : You have a LOT OF ITEMS, they are scattered around, it includes shotguns, pistols, baseball bat, fireaxe, wrench, knife, a brick that you can throw to stun a Klown, a tennis ball you can distract Klowns with, heals, stamina regens, objective items, a compass, a fire thing that you lights to signal others humans an emplacement and others that i forgot (a wood stick, for example) -Death management : Ok one of the funniest part, as an human, when you are cocooned, you are not dead, a fellow teammate can come free you or you can break free by yourself from using a knife for example. If a Klown down you he can execute you (It can be 15 seconds after the game starts, there is no "hook count") There is a revive machine that a human can activate one time during a match to revive every dead (Imagine Klowns killed 6 humans on 7, the last one activate the machine, boom ! +6 humans in the game) When you are dead (or escaped), you can do minigames, it will spawn you an item (it can be everything, from a burger to heal to a shotgun or even an objective item), you can choose to keep the item with you if you respawn or to give it to the human you spectate AND you can draw randomly a "respawn card" and you respawn like this. Often as a Klown you will kill a good 12-13 humans during a game No penalty for leaving a match, you don't get banned, there are humans bots (they are pretty weird, they don't try to escape), a good 5 maps, maybe 6. Humans can use stealth to escape Klowns or hide, as the "aura reading" abilities are very few (at best you get barked at by a dog) there is no scratches marks but if you make a lot of noise from running a Klowns will get a notification. And one very funny thing, proximity chat, sometimes you will hear peoples speak, one time i played Klowns, we chased a group of 4 or 5 humans and they ran into a building, we heard them from outside "Ok i'm gonna go against the wall and hit them with the baseball bat, you you throw every bricks you have, if you have gun, fire !" or when i passed near a forest and i heard "Oh my god this one is fat !" [Devs meter] The devs are not adding a lot of content, they are not dead but it's mostly skins, i don't believe the base game will expand much but oh god that it's funny [Finding matches meter] As of 05/06/2025 i easily find matches, the worst search times i got were 2min, usually it's 1 min and you can do several rounds in a same group, with peoples joining, leaving during a match. It's 20% Steam players, 40% Playstation, 40% Xbox [Price meter] For 10€ yes it's totally worth it, 40€ is a quite high, 20€ is a pretty good deal

i told myself i was never gonna get the game. i have a severe, genuine fear of clowns. and everyone says its a silly game nothing scary i said i didn't care, well the game was on sale and a few of my friends had gotten it so i was like ugh fine. not only is the game actually fun but playing with a group of friends is the best experience ive had playing a game. your friends helping you fight off the clowns and screaming and running away trying to survive is so fun! this does not change my fear of clowns but thank god my friends play with me. ive seen reviews were there are bugs or the lobbies are dead. i have not seen anything or noticed anything so i think its great

The game sadly didn't meet my expectations The tutorial wasn't very intuitive, in fact it was just a thing you had to read instead of something more interactive. Gameplay itself just felt janky and not fun, and I didn't like how lobbies worked.

I got this today. I genuinely haven't had more fun in a long time! This is so much fun. Expensive, but worth it. Queue time is short, your first match might take a bit. It's like F13, TCM, and DBD in one! I suggest buying it on a sale. Very fun, and extremely good looking!
