This game is worth playing for the combat mechanics alone. There are many different "class" options that change up the pace of the tetris minigame and what pieces are available, which helps keep things fresh, and mid-game you unlock an arena mode to fight various monsters and test your skills, which is a nice little treat. That said, the story is dry and at times unbearable. It does not stand out as particularly meaningful in the broad realm of JRPGs it competes with. This seems to happen almost in spite of the very strong worldbuilding and interesting lore that underpin the game's setting. The game does have some wonderful content in its side quests and side stories for characters, which makes it even more a shame that the main story is so uninteresting.

I think it's a decent game. The idea behind the combat is well executed. That said the game tries to do too much out of scope and ends up bloated with too many things that don't particulary brings enjoyment. The combat is overall repetitive and I stopped having fun after few hours of game. Still finished it but I would say that is a good try for a small studio. Keep up the good work and hoping to see something more polished in the future.

Game is interesting. I had some fun with it but somewhere near the middle I just had enough. I mentally checked out during all the "meanwhiles" and at that point I was actively trying to avoid the gameplay because I just wanted to finish the game and I was tired of Tetris with awkward pieces.
