I really enjoyed The Fox Hare Disaster - so much that I’m now on my second game, to go back and retrieve all the collectibles. My favourite aspect of the game is the overall design and unique art style, which fans of Cosmic Boop and Pinku Kult’s clothing lines will already be familiar with. The game hits the perfect mix of spooky, cute, and horror imagery that really adds to the overall experience. I really enjoyed exploring this creepycute world, and collecting the stickers and plushies was really rewarding (as well as the Gachapon mini-games). It’s easy to see how much care and detail went into the gameplay, and as a newbie to PC gaming, it was accessible enough for me whilst still being challenging. Learning more about this abandoned shopping centre, and the ‘incident’ that occurred, kept me hooked! There’s a good mix of exploration, dexterity challenges and puzzles, which keeps the experience varied and engaging. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for Chapter Two, and hope there’s more to explore from these devs in the future!

Surprisingly addictive. I missed a couple of collectibles at the beginning so i had to replay to get them all XD. The Monsters really keep you on your toes (I've died a few times thinking I was safe/hidden) and their design is really neat! I'm pretty sure there's a Sonic reference with a certain character, though... One of the things i think that both myself and other people would like to see is a run button. But due to the Jump/Crouch buttons i don't think they could include it due to the limited buttons on a controller and whatnot. Another would be a way to better hide or fight back against the monsters, even a way to distract them would be nice! And maybe some more random interactions with the objects that you find scattered around, like a random water jug glug if just for a touch of comedic reaction. Just some ideas. Otherwise a pretty great game with a lot of potential: they really hint at there being something with the spores and what happened but we have to wait to find out what that connection is, maybe. Can't wait for Ch.2 which is strongly implied to take place in or around Dottie's Dreamhouse. What that will entail we will have to wait and see. BTWs, Anyone else freaking HATE the changing room Snapper? I know i do, he's gotten me a few times and there's so little space to effectively hide that it's easy for him to accidentally see and jumpscare you and with no run button you kinda have to go for it and hope he doesn't get you. At least with the second run-in you can hide in the vents and it's pretty well impossible for him to see you. But same problem: you just have to go for it and hope you don't get caught trying to leave the room. But they're nice and only do it three* times. And does anyone else kinda suspect/theorize that the (Very creepy) mannequins might in fact be the *POTENTIAL SPOILER*? We'll have to see in Chapter 2... *They punk you, don't worry. They're nice to you near the end. Just watch out for the leading lady, she's a tenacious one.
