This game is definitely not for everyone. It has a very slow pace and a heavy focus on dialogues, but if that's fine for you, you'll end up with an intriguing story that offers different endings based on your choices. It also has charismatic characters to enrich the lore further.

Its a very good time pass game but the repetition of it all gets stale quick. Love the personalities and characters in game. Honestly a very enjoyable game!

I don't know why I like these office job games so much, but anyway, I really enjoyed it and I'd definitely recommend it. Your choices depending on who you kill really matter, and the game offers a lot of helpful gadgets in order for you to get the endings you want. The Rulebender achievement took me the longest-

Game punishes me and rewards me equally for every action, and every action is said to be a bad one by the guy in the office. It overall left me feeling unsatisfied with every thing I did. I also felt like most of the story happens in the last like 30 minutes, so I think it's pacing could be better.

Waste of time. The shitty soundtrack acts almost like virus. Actually cost me lots of nerves. Dont buy. Dont even try it out

Shorter than I thought. Has multiple endings though if you want to replay the game. 5/10

I really like the different endings you can get, depending on which decisions you make. But it can get very repetitive pretty fast, so if you don't like that, I wouldn't recommend the game.

It's fine. Not anything particularly complex but ultimately fun to play through once even if you're likely to never think about it after doing so.

This is really a charming little game that plays a bit like a puzzler and a bit like a visual novel, with occasional notes of other game types. It's not especially challenging, but nor does it feel "too easy" or anything of that sort, because it's not fully clear at the start what the objective actually is. And yet, rather than making the game feel aimless, this makes it narratively stronger.

Great experience. If you play Death and Taxes, you should definitely do at least 2 runs. The first run was okay, but the second one is where the most interesting part of this game begins. The way it connects with the previous events feels so satisfying, repeating the same steps, but having more knowledge this time. Both the desk lamp and the snow globe become genuinely useful, and these mechanics help you change the fate of the game (literally).

Death and Taxes really caught me off guard in a good way. The art style is great, and the whole idea of playing as a grim reaper deciding who lives and dies was more fun than I expected. I liked that my choices actually mattered, and seeing the different endings made it worth going back to.

Very good game, very interesting, with an unexpected amount of stuff to do, that is both it's strong suit and it's weakness; There are clearly runs you need to do a certain way in order to get a specific thing, and while the number of "people profiles" is varied enough to keep one entertained for a while, after you get the lamp they kinda become meaningless for the most part. A system to better keep track of dialogue choices from one run to another would also be nice. I don't know if I will get back to it, as it has started to become a little too tedious to get things to go your way , although i do feel like there is a lot I still haven't found yet given the nr. of achievements. Overall, very good game that at least discounted over 50% (how I got it), is very much worth it and fun. Cheers

This game is really high-quality, and it was really fun at first, but it became clear that the consequences of my decisions as to who should live or die were going to remain hidden until the end of the game.(?) The only feedback I've gotten from the outside world is a series of disjointed newspaper headlines. If you want a similar game where you get direct feedback on the consequences of your actions, check out Headliner: NoviNews.

Very good. Has a lot of content I still haven't explored. How do you combine the 2 worst things and make a great game???? 9/10

Death and Taxes was a fun experience for me. If you're a fan of games like Papers, Please then you'll likely love it. There is a lot of replay value here. If you're an achievement hunter this will not be a walk in the park. Some of the achievements are chance based so you may find this frustrating. Overall, the game can be very short and repetitive at times, but the volume of times you will need to replay it for 100% will expand the story and provide some variance to the experience. For me, Death and Taxes is a 4/5.

Death and Taxes. A game in which you play the role of Grim Reaper, and decide who lives and who dies. An interesting proposition, but I would say it was not perfectly executed. The game has a very fun gameplay, and after finishing the game for the first time and going after the other endings, the game becomes extremely boring and repetitive. Without a doubt, it is a great game, but it has a 100% that is extremely boring to do, so much so that even though I am a person who loves to do 100% of games, I gave up in this case. Unfortunately, because the game has an incredible proposition and "first gameplay", trying to do all the endings and 100% of this game becomes an almost endless cycle of trying multiple possibilities and changing tiny details from one run to another in the hope of getting a different ending (like changing some lines with Fate). All in all, Death and Taxes is a great game, but part of its experience ends up being ruined because its 100% is extremely boring, repetitive and tiring. Death and Taxes.

I love the concept. It is so well thought and well presented. The characters are hilarious and the character design really fit the premises. It is although, on my part really hard to get to the good ending, but that's just proving that the game is actually good. I think this is worth a try.

i just finished this entire game in one sitting (or at least, got to one ending!) i found this game via callmekevin, and i absolutely love it. the story and plot are interesting. very few side-characters, yet they were all enjoyable. relatively short game yet so satisfying. i WISH it expanded more on the lore in general, because it seems so interesting, but obviously there's only so much lore they can fit in a short game like this. the artstyle, humor, plot, voice acting, side-characters, gameplay-- everything was enjoyable and top tier. i can't wait to experience the other endings. i hope that the devs possibly make a 2nd game, or a few dlcs at the very least. i love the "news" aspect of the gameplay, and generally getting to see the consequences of your actions long-term. 5/5 would recommend.
p.s Fate is very much alive and vacationing in my interpretation and i am not accepting any other possibilities
Short little game. Simpler than Papers Please. Doomed the whole world to war somehow. Oops Good - The news outcomes on the following day - Replayability - Simple gameplay - The shop sells cool stuff - Art style quite charming Bad - Is it the desk job or music making my eyelids heavy - All of the bar interactions

Game trying to pose as a moral dilemma, ended up not even being a game. At all. In the end, you have to make the choices the devs would to get a good ending. Simply trying to beat it on your own, using your own moral compass just results in a 'somewhat unpredictable' bad ending one way or another. 12€ wasted.
