Detective Grimoire

A pretty short and sweet VN. The visuals are nice, the voiceover is charming, and the atmosphere is appropriately mysterious. Do note, though, that this is more of a VN with detective elements than a full detective game. You have to think a little bit, but there isn't a way to fail or accuse a wrong person. All in all, it is pretty pleasant and takes just one or two evenings to finish.

Short, fun & entertaining. Played the sequel before playing this, but that wasn't a problem. Will be following the upcoming games in this series!

I started with Tangle Tower and then got Detective Grimoire. You can see the beginnings of what they sharpened and improved when they got to Tangle Tower. I think Detective Grimoire is a short fun ride on its own though! Especially if you're invested in the characters and story / world-building.

Overall is a fun point and click game. The voice over is charming, the puzzle is nice and the dialogue is funny. It is really just that casual light game.

It was fun, easy and entertaining. The voice acting was outstanding. It brought so much personality and charm to the game. I liked the art style too. 10/10!

It almost caught a no from me. The sound requirement closes off accessibility, and that's a huge part of my recommendation criteria. However, this game does a decent job of filling in the gaps with visual cues. Didn't like it as much as Tangle Tower, but the spirit is there. I like the gloomy paranormal aspect. Good for kids. For players looking to buy, the sale price is the way to go. Otherwise, not worth it.

I found the game interesting and enjoyable. The gameplay involves clue-finding, suspect interrogation, and puzzle-solving. A kind choose-your-own-adventure novel mixed being the protagonist of a thriller. Mysterious and captivating story. Easy to follow and keeps you hooked.

This game was great. I actually played tangle tower first, and this one. It was nice to see that the games were connected, even if it was only by a little bit. If you want to play this game, I'd recommend playing the flash game as well. I'm not going to say it's perfect, but it makes you appreciate these games so much more.

Me and my family absolutely love this game and the entire series. Great characters, art, music, sets and most importantly story. Truly an underrated gem that is worth every penny. The vibes are strong with this one!

Typically the kind of game I adore! It's an investigation, puzzles, interrogations, making conclusions, all of it into a great story, unique visual styles, lots of animation, beautiful music and nice voice acting!

Its a short game but fun. It easy to play but not overly dull. It's a good baby's first point and click that older folk can enjoy.

A fun point and click mystery! I really liked the voice acting and music, and the story is fun too. My biggest criticism is the lack of editor; I've never seen so many ellipses used incorrectly. But I had fun regardless and would recommend this game.
