Late Homework | 遅れた宿題

An indie horror game that uses PS1-era visuals AND doesn't look so painfully low-effort and generic like most of the indie horror games that use it? its a miracle!!

Got this one impulsively right after seeing it on tiktok, didn't regret it one bit. Coming from someone who doesn't even play all that much indie horror, Late Homework is quite brilliant, honestly. It's really just an awesome little game, great in terms of aesthetics and atmosphere, not too complicated of a game-play, just a really solid way to spend a few hours overall. Great job by the devs, hoping for more in the future!

I hate horror games but I loved Hypnagogia so I gave it a shot - and it did not disappoint.

probably the most severely underrated titles ive played so far, i like the artistic choice of the ps1 styled graphic, which have been executed absolutely flawlessly, from the ps1 tank control style to the jittering of the texturing. sound design is also well made, capturing the eeriness of the environment beautifully. the only thing i did not really like was the ai of the "monster" chasing you around the school, as i thought it was a little bit lackluster, but otherwise, and amazing short little horror title worth checking out :)

Lovely atmosphere, art direction, and music. Really dark and cozy. No save system sadly, but the game is short.
