I had a bit of a scaling issue, but after solving that the game has been great. I have really enjoyed the time. Translation is falling apart at year 3 though, so I am giving it time to catch up.

Gameplay Mechanics: 8/10 Narrative: 7/10 Graphics: 6/10 Sound and Music: 7/10 Replayability: 7/10 Innovation: 8/10 Path of Wuxia is one of the rare Wuxia RPG sim games out there—and it absolutely embraces that niche. Blending life-sim progression, turn-based tactical battles, and a ton of character interactions, it delivers a uniquely satisfying experience for anyone who loves martial arts stories and slow-burning character development. Gameplay mechanics are deep and addicting. You’ll manage your schedule like a martial arts school simulator—training different skills, sparring, building relationships, and tackling story missions. It’s a tight mix of stat growth, relationship management, and tactical battles that keeps you invested from season to season. Score: 8/10. Narrative is a classic Wuxia setup with all the familiar beats—rival sects, lost manuals, hidden identities, and bonds forged over time. What makes it work is how character-focused it is, letting you shape your place in the world through your choices and friendships. Score: 7/10. Graphics are decent for a mid-tier indie title. The 2D portraits and backdrops are lovely, but the in-engine visuals during combat are pretty rough by modern standards. Still, the style grows on you. Score: 6/10. Sound and music are atmospheric. The soundtrack captures the spirit of the setting, and while voice acting is limited, it brings a nice layer of authenticity to key scenes. Score: 7/10. Replayability is solid. There are multiple romance routes, branching storylines, and stat builds to experiment with, which means a second or third playthrough can feel meaningfully different. Score: 7/10. Innovation deserves credit. Very few games combine the Wuxia setting with life simulation and tactical combat this effectively. It’s a bold, genre-blending take that really sticks the landing. Score: 8/10. Bottom line: Path of Wuxia may not have AAA polish, but it's a passion project that delivers a deeply satisfying Wuxia sim. If you're into martial arts, character growth, and strategic progression, this one's a must-play.
