Great God Grove

absolutely banging game. allowed me to unlock a whole new level of color theory understanding and made me want to get more transgender

This little gem is all about the value of SELF-EXPRESSIDENTITY, COMMUNITOGETHERNESS, and FORGIVALISTENING. I'm so glad I played it! Lots of cute and weird characters, really good art and music, fun interactions, and good messages. I liked finding ways to flirt (especially with my wifu Patience) and discovering weird combinations or easter eggs. Pick up this game if you like heart-warming tales and weirdos!

Great God Grove is a game utterly bursting at the seams with character, from the art to the music and especially the dialog that composes the main mechanic of the game. I was immediately pulled into the world and even after finishing the game I still find my thoughts drifting back to it. This is easily one of my favorite games I've played in the last few years, and has cemented LimboLane as a development team I'll always be excited to see what they get up to next.

I only managed to complete this game over the span of several months by doing little 1-2 hour sessions each time, and by the end of it I whipped out a walkthrough to stop tumbling around and actually be able to quickly advance the story. And despite that I wouldn't call this game bad or anything, it's decent, it's pretty, it's cute. I really love some of the creature designs, they're wonderful. But overall the playthrough felt like a slog to me. Lot's of unnecessary text and point-n-click absurd style puzzles, which some makes sense, and with some I had to just throw everything at everyone and even that didn't work sometimes. I played entire game in presence of my friends over voice chat so it made it a bit more fun and they were giving remarks on things I was missing in story or game itself. It certainly made the game more fun. The ending was quite nice, its nothing I wouldn't expect by the point I got there, but it's just does what it wants to do perfectly. A nice, simple, kind and friendly ending - just what this world deserves. And the game overall has the same moral and messages, I imagine - of being kind and genuine. I wish the journey to the end was more fun and not as frustrating with puzzles, but overall it was a nice experience.

This game was wonderful. Very silly, very funny, and VERY well made. I loved playing it. It was easy to sit through. I love Limbolane's creations and the art style is immaculate.

Very wonderful little puzzle game. Incredibly charming art, fun world, and interesting characters. I enjoyed pretty much every moment of the game, just a couple moments of frustration that were more on me than the game (though I would appreciate if it was a bit more obvious where you can pass between the towns in the 'performance' area of the game.) Also whoever at the studio keeps wanting to put puppets in these games, keep it up.

I love this game's many art styles (I am a sucker for puppets). It's got a nice little story too.

I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER PLAY A GAME BETTER THAN THIS ONE AND THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE VIDEO GAME the fact that this game manages to make fights and a WHOLE BOSS BATTLE, and your main attack is WORDS... you can't punch or kick, you can just suck up people's words and repeat those words back, or maybe throw a rock or something at someone, AND YET THESE FIGHTS ARE MORE FUN THAN MOST FIGHTING GAMES FOR ME HOW?! HOW?!?!?!!?! THESE DEVS MUST BE WIZARDS OR SOMETHING

A fascinating game with a wonderful story and intriguing art! I had played Smile for Me and loved it and this game is even better in my opinion. A fun quick little puzzle game. The puzzle themselves were not too hard or easy in my opinion and the story and the art added so much ambiance to it :D

Loved their first game and their second is just as good. I'm in love with the art style and the characters they create in their worlds. All of their personalities are so unique. The story was amazing and I enjoyed every second of this game. Pleaseee make more <3
