the roughness of a ruined city commanded by roombas that kill you on sight & the purity of a robot's wish to show humans the stars well after they've eradicated themselves in endless warfare... this game and it's theme are so charming i thought the contrast in writing was well thought of; mr. wasteman's monologues offer the player good insight into bits and pieces of tragic history that's led him to the current point, to be seeking refuge from warmongers in an abandoned department store, only to find another potential enemy.. but then those gloomy memories and rain-soaked scenery are nicely balanced out by some fun, banal dialogues, where you learn about yumemi's passion for space and her dear projector. after that the game picks up the pace rather quickly compared to some vn's which i can appreciate. play it and find out if her dreams get crushed or nay :fiddlercrab:

Way better than I expected it to be. A masterful reminder of the fact that writing is an art form. This is a study in contrasts. The story is about the interactions between a pragmatic, grumpy cynic and an unshakably upbeat, cheerful optimist, set in a peaceful refuge in a post apocalyptic wasteland. Don't overlook this because it's older or because it's short. It's a beautiful story and I wouldn't change any part of it.
