Wonderful Everyday Down the Rabbit-Hole

Really beautiful game, I liked all the character and looking back after story reveals to really see the context you were missing was amazing. 8/10 for the game itself. The story was moving, well played, well thought out and executed. I truly believe this wouldn't have worked in any other format and I thoroughly enjoyed it. -5000/10 for the sex scenes. They really were THAT bad. I would not recommend this to anyone. Yes, obviously because of the shocking and disturbing content. But also because the ero scenes were just that grating and cringe. I am not a prude. I enjoy sexy content. This isn't it. What the hell was Yuki peeling on Tsukasa. Shrinkwrap fountain pen dick sandwich.... Why

I will update this review when I eventually finish the story completely I came into this visual novel with high expectations, and those expectations are not only being met, but they are being greatly surpassed. This story is so insanely good, I can't stop reading it. I only bought this ~3 days ago. I have spent around 6 hours per day reading it so far. Just buy it. Don't spoil yourself (don't search up anything about plot points or characters.), and don't forget about the required patch for this (the steam version is only 1/7 chapters). Also: I would recommend following a guide and getting all of the alternate endings for a single chapter before moving onto the next one (except the first chapter, two of the alternate endings are pretty much the exact same). Minor possible spoilers ahead, though nothing major whatsoever. For this story, you definitely need a lot of patience to get through the first chapter. The first chapter is strange. It's about five hours long, and it's a confusing yuri eroge type story. It doesn't really fit in, and once you get past it the story starts to get going. I'm sure there is a reason for that first chapter and that it'll be explained when I get later into the story, but so far for me I still don't understand its purpose. Also, there is some graphic and severely uncomfortable "h-scenes", but they are usually there for the plot (though they usually do get quite out of hand). So far, I'm loving this visual novel. No other piece of media has made me feel so uncomfortable yet enlightened.

Subahibi is a philosophical masterpiece. The music is perfect, The art is beautiful. By far one of the most impactful pieces of literature i have ever read. Please complete the [spoiler] Zakuro [/spoiler] route in the [spoiler] Prologue [/spoiler] before forming an opinion on this. And live happily.

[b] spoilers ahead [/b] this game was an experience, to say the least. i quite literally can't recommend anyone this game, nor would i want to. the h-scenes are disturbing as hell, (which is the point) but they go on for entirely too long. i had to take a break from playing because it got so bad. it takes away from the game. yes, it's supposed to be disturbing, but i kid you not. they go on for like 10-15 minutes. and there's pages of it. but it did a good job at making me thoroughly disgusted. the game about living happily, despite all of the tragedies and evil of humanity..ends by the main two characters rewriting their narrative to finally live happily in their incestuous relationship. the entire philosophy, (that mind you, makes up the entire game and hardly makes sense) means butt fuck nothing when it's just to justify random incest. it just made everything the game was attempting to communicate out to shit because, even in the end, they made their own disturbing situation. i don't necessarily regret playing this game, but i regret getting my hopes up. i really enjoyed yukis interactions with zakuro, kagami and tsukasa. i feel like i prefer their endings over the overarching story, they could even be considered canon going based off ayana's dialogue in end sky II's ending. kimika's ending for looking glass insects was really sweet too, both yuki and kimka made the game for me. i did have a lot of fun trying to figure out what was going on, and it was thrilling to see what was confirmed/disprove. however, in the end, i can't say i enjoyed this game due to the endings and how they carried out some character relationships. yuki and kimika carried the game, and all the yurism (can you tell i like yuri?) all this to say, live happily! [strike] and dont use philosophy to excuse screwing your sister! [/strike]

One of my favorite novels of all time. The yuri at the start is generic and annoying but then it gets real good once it actually starts around chapter 2. Justice for Takuji, he is my perfect everyday. SPOILERS: This game is very effective in portraying how a psychotic episode is like. Very nice.

Not even finished half of it yet and this is the greatest visual novel I have ever read in my entire life. (Where am I at? Still deciding if I can call Takuji based or cringe- That's where.)

Whatever thought provoking lesson about the meaning of life is at the end of this game is definitely not worth reading and watching hours of graphic assault. I stopped playing mid way through "It's My Own Invention" after the desk scene. I honesty was enjoying the story and characters but the graphic scenes were too long and I've heard it only gets worse.

Good game with a bit of philosophy and math involved (seeing real analysis mentioned in a visual novel is so funny lol), but imma be honest i dont think they did a good job linking those concepts back to the plot. As other reviews have suggested, the story gets serious real quick (make sure you have the patch installed), and it does involve some sorts of horror elements. That said, for someone who can't quite handle horror, i could manage to sit through it without much trouble. There is also a particular chapter that is extremely painful to go through, but i would still recommend embracing the pain and pushing through to get the full emotional experience.
