Extremely good VN. Alternate routes leading up to the final route were entertaining and worthwhile. The system for determining routes was unique and amusing. Would recommend for anyone interested.

This is a sequel to Chaos:Head so keep that in mind if you are interested in this game but haven't played that one. If you enjoyed the previous game, you will most likely enjoy this one. I found the game to be quite good. My only criticism is that there are some scenes/scenarios/etc where I found the main character's narration to be weak and flawed. I used a fan translation and I would recommend using one. The creators of the game are known for having poor English translations in their games.

Solid one. Takes a lot of time and requires a bit of suspension of disbelief at a few points, but overall pretty good. Protagonist is hardly inspirational, but I liked the ending. My one qualm is that the delusion system still doesn't really add much. There's a couple of places where it is used cleverly, but the vast majority of them aren't worth your time.

CHAOS;CHILD 10/10 If you liked CHAOS;HEAD NOAH, you will like this as well. I have finished all the routes and I can say that this is really good and better or more improved than the first one. Takuru Miyashiro is surely a character I will remember. I almost teared up at the credits scene and the final ending. I love both the Chaos visual novels and I will gladly play the next one if they continue this series.

Common ending actually makes sense. Characters routes also important and give insight on the overall story, unlike C;H NoaH where character routes are absolute mess with no meaning at all I really really hated all the skipping you must do in order to reach true ending. C;H and C;C have notoriously bad route selecting mechanics Takuru is a coward and the worst protagonist of all scn;adv games. He is even worse than Hououin Kyouma (I thought it was physically impossible to be even more unbearable than Kyouma) It drives me INSANE how Takuru is so terrifyingly weak and useless. He is afraid of everything, even of girls his age, it's irritating to read his constand 'ugh's and 'it dangerous!' I didn't like visual style (the same as C;H)

Going into Chaos;Child I wasn't a big fan of Chaos;Head Noah. The plot of Chaos;Child was a bit lazy and predictable. Some of the characters felt like an exact copy of other characters from Chaos;Head that I thought it was some mgs2 scenario occurring. Soundtrack still amazing from Takeshi. The main character Miyashiro was a step up compared to Takumi and I liked the Newspaper Club crew. There were still story elements that I enjoyed and the True ending was bittersweet that I liked. Overall I had a fun time....

I would say Chaos;Child is Naotaka Hayashi's best work in terms of overall plot structure and mystery... but still, I think I prefer Robotics;Notes. It’s an incredible narrative about the dangers of information spread and how sensationalizing horrific events turns real suffering into entertainment. It also delivers a brutal critique of the obsession with being “special,” and how that desire can quietly destroy the people closest to you. Chaos;Child lays down an amazing groundwork for a tragic coming of age story that also serves as sharp social commentary on how the digital age amplifies the selfishness of individuals and communities how we distance ourselves from others to feel better, and how empathy erodes when filtered through a screen. Hey, Taku, did you have fun?
