Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition

I love this game (u can tell by the time I spent playing it) I love the story, I love the characters, I love the art, I love the cutscenes I love the amount of endings u can get and how the way u play actually affect what's gonna happen. I started the game and bought it with no idea of what is it exactly about or what's am I getting into bc I thought it'd be interesting and guess what? YES I WAS RIGHT and I LOVED IT, im glad I bought it and after finishing the game i HAD to get all the endings and the achievements bc of how much i loved it, and im happy to say this game is my first perfect game on steam and the first game i write a review for <3 I LOVE MS SOSA SM! I love the forest goblin , i love tiki taka and i surely love my girl kate. Even names I didn't mention, most of the characters are fun and the interactions are funny and interesting. I had fun in almost everything about this game. if i had to point something I disliked it'd be one thing that since im not a big fan of asmr and i find these types of sounds annoying it'd be the whispering sound played when some mysterious characters speak. Wish i could mute it hated to listen to it again and again when replaying lol Prolly my first time playing this type of games and i'd love to play more similar games

"Yuppie Psycho" is such a breath of fresh air! An adventure that delves into the not-at-all common (and yet oh so relevant) territory of workplace horror. You're hired at a company that will make you crave a remote job. The whole game takes place within one building (the company) that creatively develops different flavors of weirdness and spookiness. It analyzes the common office space and reimagines it through a lens that distorts it to the point that the mundane becomes strange and off-putting. It's sort of what "Severance" does (while "Severance" goes more for sci-fi, dystopia and sheer weirdness, instead of the horror notes of "Yuppie Psycho"). If we gotta be critical, the delightful weirdness gets a bit diluted as they also add some witchlike aspects that don't blend very well with the office nigtmare they built. It's not bad, per se, but it sort of distracts from the generally well-constructed vibe. Unfortunately it doesn't stay as a one-time distraction, as the game focuses more onto this as it progresses, subtracting from the other approach, which to us feels so much stronger. Still, that note doesn't take away from the fact that "Yuppie Psycho" is a pretty unique experience that adds so much to the genre by exploring a setting that's so universal to most of us, and yet not so treated in games. I mean, sure, many Backrooms and Backrooms-adjacent games do office spaces; but while not bad, they're all just one specific note of office-themed horror. Overall, we got incredibly hooked on "Yuppie Psycho", and it was commendable how intrigued we were the whole time we were roaming through the mysterious floors of this corp.

**“This game is a blast — holy shit.”** It’s been a while since I picked up a game purely off *vibes* but this one genuinely has me rethinking how rarely I do that The pixel art isn’t just filler or lazy sprites. There are **actual beautiful pieces** of art tucked in here — like, stuff that makes you pause. The humor? Solid. It’s dumb in the best way, but all grounded in the world’s rules. If you’re not paying attention, no worries you’ll catch on quickly I’m only about 20% through so i'll update whenever.

Me before every puzzle: How hard could it be!? (the pixel graphics, the atmosphere, the horror mystery of it, omg it's so fun)

Very fun game. Reminds me of classic RPG maker horror like The Witch's House, but with a lot more polish.

Absolutely brilliant. Creepy and delightful at the same time.

Holy sheet, amazing! The story is thrilling and the characters are so fucking weird you don't even know what is "normal" for them. The puzzles are sometimes challenging but I managed to get them through (If I can do it, then you can do it too!) I really enjoyed it and hope for another game from the developers like this. Thank you for your hardwork.

Ordinary peaceful average corporate job what could go wrong?

on brian's first day of his awesome new job he: meets a cute girl with bangs, drinks a lot of coffee, watches some cool indie movies, breaks a printer, learns about numbers, becomes besties with an AI, goes to either a really cool birthday party or gets a sick red mask, and absolutely nothing bad happens!!!

И вот я закрыл игру,но что-то тянет меня вернуться в неё. Прочесать каждый уголок,просмотреть все видеокассеты, ухватиться за каждую крупицу лора,заново удивиться тому,как прописан сюжет, закрепляющийся ужасающей атмосферой. Вновь увидеть лица моих коллег, даже тех, кто был противен по началу мне. Заново прочувствовать эти диалоги,неловкости,смешки,неожиданности и ещё раз её пройти...
