Finished Mega Man X1 and X2, The Gameplay Is really solid here, Sigma and his Maverick Hunters make for challenging boss fights even with all the Upgrades and Sub tanks, Mega Buster ult has a Delay of 2 charge shots that takes getting used to, Level design can be annoying in the last 4 stages with how tricky the platforming can get and easy to mess, The Mega Blaster was pretty good in X1 but in X2 there is a delay to get used or do 2 quicks in succession for the ultimate attack, In the Mining stage of X1 I would experience Slow down especially riding the cart which must be flaws with the emulation 7/10
Finished Mega Man X3 and X4, X3 Final boss was kinda frustrating with that Tiny Hitbox in the 3rd Phase of the Big Robot but can be cheesed with the Z saber to that hitbox to get rid most of the health which gets rid of some of the frustration and there’s frustrating level design in dopplier stages like using dash jumps and trying to avoid spikes that fall down, X4 was Pretty Good and found myself actually using the other abilities and getting Upgrades didn't feel tedious to get and the backtracking felt quick enough due to the ease of the level design, The Checkpoint system is way more forgiving compared to the entirety of the collection since I can hit a mid level point and be able to continue from there if I lose all lives which cuts away a lot of the tedious of replaying to get back to the boss and goes for the last stage which is a great QQL thing ,7-7.5/10
The Collection has been pretty good but I take issue of where I can exit the game and upon going back in I will have to redo the last of the 4 stages from the start despite having save data which is very tedious that I can’t pick back up from any of the last stages in each of the collection and it has a lot of cool extras to
