Pyramids and Aliens: Escape Room

somehow both harder and easier than their other games. good, though idk about the price increase. bought it on sale anyways

I really wanted to like this game but I found a ton of bugs in just the first 45 minutes of player. I got stuck in doorways and on the edge of stairs so much that it got frustrating just walking around. Getting the interaction icon on the puzzles to show up took a lot of approaching, backing up, and swinging the camera around before I could even try to solve them. One puzzle wouldn't accept the correct solution until I input the same answer over and over again, in exactly the same way. Another seemed honestly broken and unsolvable. I enjoyed other games from this publisher, and the atmosphere in this one is really cool. But this one just isn't worth the trouble to play.

Great puzzles, nothing inappropriate. Interesting story line, and great graphics, and an easy-to-work with/navigate GUI interface. The ending could have been a bit better, but no other complaints. Well worth the money paid for it!

A smart puzzler w/ good controls - but has two timed puzzles. Pros: * Puzzles are good, and mostly are original puzzle design (to me, anyhow) - which is rare, these days. * Beautiful level design. * Decent music that usually doesn't intrude on your thoughts. Cons: * Two timed puzzles - timer increases on each failure, but still annoying. Meh: * Has a "magic pyramid"-style math puzzle. (IMO, math-based puzzles are lazy puzzle design) TL;DR: If you like puzzlers and don't mind timed puzzles, 9/10; else, avoid.

the puzzles are very confusing, no directions how to solve, play a lot of escape room games, but this one forces me to rely heavily on walkthrus, not a fan at all
