Only Lead Can Stop Them

A 90s DOOM clone set in a conflict that largely gets skipped over--if the concept alone doesn't sell you, there's nothing else that will. It plays exactly how you'd expect and that's frankly, a good thing; the level design leans more into the "more or less a functional place" rather than the "outright maze" aesthetic of the DOOM design angle but I've only casually played and haven't seen the end game yet at the time of this review. Absolutely worth the price of admission, especially if you're like me and you just appreciate a good ol' boomer shooter.

Its a fun romp but nowhere near as good as Ion Fury or Amid Evil. Much like the early 90s FPS there is no lighting effects so darkness or shadows does not play a part in creating a mood. Also ammo for the pistol and the rifle are so abundant you rarely have to use or seek out ammo for the other weapons. All in all, it was worth $8 but not much more. I do plan to complete it but I cant imagine there is much replay value like there is with the other 2 titles I mentioned.

This is hands down the best modern Wolf 3D style game. Great art, guns, enemies, level design and secrets. Really excellent and strongly recommend for anyone who loves Wolfenstein 3D.

Not bad but achievements not working at all as on selling page they are.
