Absolutely amazing characters, Incredibly nice physics and destruction, Nice compatibility with junkier devices, Very nice soundtrack, Very nice maps, Very nice voice acting. Worth the money? Definitely. If it goes on sale I feel it's non-negotiable and you have to get it. From the very, very little I've experienced in the game it has absolutely exceeded my expectations in almost every way, and I still have lots more content to see. I would give it a 9/10 at this point, but in the future I doubt I'll experience anything bad, so.. Present me says: 9/10. Future me says: 10/10

Very fun and arcade-y sword fighting game. Not much to do after you beat the campaign, but that should be fixed in the coming update.

If you are a VR veteran, the game is VERY easy, but still lots of fun. I was drenched in sweat because the game encorages you swinging fast to move fast so it can be very fast paced. That being said, boss battles are a joke as you can just spawn camp them or run at them and just swing wildly at them until they either get hit or fall off the edge. Game runs very well, I felt like everything was pretty smooth. The weapons are also pretty bad, the best setup i found was dual wielding the starter sword and using my left hand to knock the enemy weapon away and cut their legs with my right hand, the other weapons just make it hard to move fast which ultimately gets you killed. Not a lot of replay-ability, wish there were challenges like a one hand mode, forcing me to use weapons i might not, ect. Something that makes it so i cant just do the most powerful thing the whole time and win. I beat the whole game in 2.7 hours.

Its fun, but I have a few things to say about it. Its really short for a $20 game. I recommend buying it on sale. Also, I wish you could throw weapons. They give you a TON of weapons, and you can only hold 2 at a time (1 if its a 2 handed weapon), so it would make a lot of sense to be able to throw them. It's really not immersive when you try to throw a weapon and it just drops in place.

I'm sad the story is short unlike their previous entry, but it's still a lot of fun. At first I was weirded out by the one-hit-cheeze-every-enemy combat, but it kind of clicked and I started to play a bit more intentional with blocks/parries/precision hits which makes it more fun. Love the idea of mo-capping npcs using a vr headset too.

Its a whole lot of fun, but sadly i have a severe skill issue and suck at this game. im exited for the new Update that promised difficulty options! a bit more Weapon variety wouldnt hurt, but all in all its a fun expirience :)

at the time of this review theres really only 3 things id want added, higher difficulty options, something to do after you beat the game (maybe similar to the first game with arenas and endless mode) and finally achievments. other than that this is one of the best games ive played this year

Well... I finished the game in 3 hours. Not quite the amount of story I wanted but it was still fun. They did a story that could easily repeat so the game won't be over after beating the final boss, but I didn't really continue after I won. Besides that, the combat was nice, smooth slashes, good clashes. The thing I disliked the most was how my weapons kept getting stuck on the enemy's weapon. Every time weapons clash they freeze for some reason and it takes a lot of movement to get it free. By then, my head was already chopped off and I was sent right back to my new body. Also I would've liked more fire weapons than just a small knife. The more I type the more it seems like a negative review but honestly, I enjoyed the game; It was almost what I wanted for a VR Clone Drone, I just had higher expectations. I still am putting this as a positive review because I do not regret purchasing the game, like i said it was fun. Maybe the game will get better as it updates but for now I'll come back to it whenever they make a major update I'm interested in.

This game was an absolute blast to play. I loved every second of it, the combat is fun, and I love that when blades clash the game compensates for something that is very hard for other VR titles to do, which is blades binding against each other. You have to pull away to strike again, otherwise your blade is stuck in that bind. The humor is hilarious and simple, a little cheesy but that's honestly the charm of the game. And in terms of replayability? Oodles and oodles of it. I have never been bored playing this game. Afterall, as the game says... Fighting robots with laser weapons is the coolest, objectively. So give the game a go! And I'll see you in the Crashloop.

Amazingly fun game, can sometimes be annoying with how you die, like if you get hit in the right arm or leg only you sometimes die when you haven't taken any other damage, though it can be annoying sometimes, but the first two times i got to the hyperdome i aced it

This has GOT to be one of the BEST VR swordplay games I have ever played. Its packed with so much action. If you hate janky NPC movements, get this game. If you love HEMA, get this game. In short words: get. this. game.

Really fun game for slicing stuff, love the art style. Although lacks replayability after killing the boss. Hopefully the skyscrapper will fix all of this. Love it!

This game was extremely fun, but I want some additions to the story. I would honestly pay for a DLC where you invade a different crashloop, trying to unite every single one to stop it all. maybe the DLC could be harder, because the crashloop got really easy after the first hour or so when you finish the mechanics. Still fun tho

This game is a BEAUTIFUL sequel. Everything translates to VR wonderfully. Haven't had a vr game that had me craving to play more, and I'm SO happy to have found out about this beauty

Extremely fun - but not too much content and not very difficult. While the game has amazing physics and melee combat, it really lacks on the content and challenge. It may be hard-ish for the first 2 hours, but it takes like 2-4 hours to beat the game (kill the captain, and to keep it spoiler free, let's say that's all there is to do. Rinse and repeat). A run lasts like 15-25 minutes-ish. So I didn't really see any point on going on and repeating the same levels without much variety on the exact same loops, just fighting different bosses at different order, but still the same 7-8 bosses. Which is really easy to beat once you know their attack patterns and dodge. While it's fun - at it's current pace - it's worth only if on discount imo, as it offers like 3-4h of content at max, and then you just redo the exact same 20 minute run, which... gets boring once you know how to beat it easily. They are working on fixing how easy it is once you read out the enemy patterns, and adding an endless mode, but no real date of release yet. Maybe after endless is out, the game will be worthy even at full price. Other than that - a fun adrenaline rush that gets over it after 4 hours.

The game is fun but it's boring because it's super easy. I really want to play that game again once (and only if) those mistakes are fixed. 1. You move TOO SLOW, why you can't sprint, I simply don't understand. The dash mechanic is completely useless, it is fun but you are not going to need that. And teleport completely breaks the imersion. 2. Make the sword deadly only when swinging, if you just walk straight on enemies you are going to win. 3. Make more upgrades to a run, you can choose by getting a weapon, coin or extra life. You use coins to buy weapons, but the best weapon is the sword that you start, so why choose anything else?

Well, I am only a few hours in, and the game is a blast, but not without it's problems. First of all, the starting weapon is horrible, you can kill a mk1 robot with a shortsword, maybe a single or two mk2, but you are definitely not killing a mk3 or a looprunner with it. If you die once, you can pretty much say bye to the run because you are not going to have enough time to get your old weapons, and again you are not killing anything with the shortsword. Second, collisions. Specially when you are picking up weapons off the ground, they just get clipped into the said ground and get stuck, same sometimes happens with the extend-o-fist. It's probably more of a problem with Unity rather than the game itself, but if there is anyway to fix that, it would greatly improve the player experience and would waaaay decrease the amount of accidental deaths. And the third are projectiles. There is no indicator beside sound that a projectile is flying to you, and with the soundtrack and pretty much everything in the game making sounds it's really easy to miss it. I haven't tried the subtitles but playing with subtitles isn't ideal either. When you die from a projectile, like an arrow or a bomb, the death pretty much feels like an accident rather then you missing something, it would be nice to have an indicator on the screen of a projectile flying towards you. Edit: Now since I completed the game, it's... well, underwhelming. There is nothing really going on later, reveal of node kind of even breaks the lore a bit?, like through out the whole game we are lead to believe that we are a human transported into a robots body, which aligns well with this being a sequel to the first game, but node for no reason at all reveals that he was the "inner voice," completely breaking that, and then just never shows up again for anything else. With the new rules, absolutely nothing changes otherwise, dialogs are the same, some even now contradicting each other, like cyclord still being obsessed over the bug, despite himself saying that now since captain is gone the bug won't work. No preset change, the captain is still plastered on every surface, you don't even get a cosmetic for beating him. As I said before, the game is still really fun, but the least that could have been done is mark some dialog as "only before captain," so it won't appear again after; and give the current captain a small crown floating above them.

Awesome light saber style sword fighting, enemies can be quite challenge and fun to fight against!

Love this games combat, but that's it. The character dialogue is cringe and stupid. I recommend this game be played on mute. there is nothing to do after you beat the game other than restart. Once you get the loop down to an hour its just not fun. Mod support would be a god send for this game. Just anything to add verity. A back holster would be useful as well even if its just for bows and shields, Being able to switch between a bow and sword sounds fun and it would allow for the player to use a shield on their back to block attacks from behind. Definitely needs more levels once you've done 10-12 loops you will have seen all this game has to offer. Only buy on sale until some more updates come out.

Combat is clunky, messy and unfortunately it sucks. Actually trying to swordfight in this game is the LAST thing you want to do. Enemies are dumb, but they just flail around like idiots, and any touch, even if it is from their sword missing but unpredictably twitching a little oneshots you. There is no weight or speed apparently involved in the calculation, so trying to parry is a bad idea because you risk dying from them touching you by some jank ragdoll animation, so you better just wait for them to miss and easily slice them. Or stretch your hand and flail left to right. That's not fun, to say the least. Also, there are annoyingly long death and respawn animations for a game where you get killed by random touches. Bosses suffer from the same thing in a different way. They still will clip you by the idiotic twitching, but any attempt to actually parry or dodge counter is useless because they immediately retreat, so just aggressively running into them and flailing gets you much better results than actually trying to counter their offense. Hit detection on them feels weird sometimes, on some bosses, I could swear I poke them in the stomach when their weapons are above their heads, but they artificially "parry" and jump away Because nothing except touching the opponent matters, all weapons except the starting one-handed sword feel useless and simply worse in every way. It's a shame because there is nothing that can make a game like that good if the combat sucks, and I was looking forward to it.
