Sanoba Witch is in my opinion the third-best Yuzu Soft title I've played so far—right behind Dracu-Riot! that still holds a special place in my heart and Café Stella. While Sanoba Witch offers a more character-driven experience, I found that emphasis came at the cost of narrative depth, which somewhat made it a bit more... boring. That said, Ayachi’s route stood out in a big way. It had suspense, emotional weight, and a kind of tension that kept me genuinely invested. It was the only route that gave me that feeling of nervous intrigue. The other heroines’ stories felt more formulaic in comparison: a gradual romance leading to intimacy, without much narrative weight behind it. I’m not saying the romance or H-scenes are inherently bad, I enjoy them as much as any lonely man, but I missed the stakes and world-building that made Dracu-Riot! so compelling. It wasn't just about love and sex. And okay, Sanoba Witch has focus in other things, like dealing with depression, finding out yourself and stuff, but still, the feeling that it leaves is that it's all about love. The H-scenes sometimes felt forced, especially in characters like Kariya’s. While I liked her as a character, her arc didn't naturally lead into intimacy, it just seemed that they turned a switch to lovely mode. It felt like the writers added sex scenes because they had to, not because they fit her story. Her route had everything to be cute, not horny. I'd say she's the only character that, honestly, didn't need h content. I'd say it's almost the same for Tsumugi, but her longer route made it more convincing. And I didn't like Togakushi's route just because I really, really wanted to see her accepting Koshiji's feeling and having a relationship with her, not with the mc, so I'll childishly say her route is bad. Justice for Koshiji! So for my overall opinion: Routes: Ayachi >= Inaba > Kariya = Tsumugi >>> Togakushi Romance: 8 Scenario: 6 (lacked depth) Character design: 9 Voice acting: 9 (Would be 10, but I really couldn't like Tsumugi's voice) Soundtrack: 10 Translation: 10

story is pretty good! in the beginning theres almost no naughty scenes. all naughty scenes are censored which is a big downside for me personally.

I am not immune to Yuzusoft moeges. It is a very charming story, (Though not complex.) with a variety of heroines to choose from. It is one of the few occassions where I liked all of them. Music is simple but effective, Voiceacting is good, It has the option for dual subtitles in Japanese and English, and it has a sprite editor which you can unlock to make your own screenshots. Very fun. The extra post-game after-stories for each character are also a nice touch. It's been a while since I got this hooked on a VN. I can definitely recommend this one. I' m on ebay buying character merch as we speak. Send help.

What a ride. Comparatively speaking, it was much better written than Riddle Joker. Each route was well crafted and presented, none of the characters felt secondary or irrelevent. Routes had good writing and pacing with revelations on MC and each main heroin. The true route in my opinion was the best among the bunch. Does not have the flowchart feature so I had to manually track choices to get to the routes. Again the routes were filled with twists and turns and they would definitely hold anyone's interest without feeling stale or drawn out. I think this is is the first Romcom VN that I can say held my attention through all paths. Nene being the main focus was well written and her story being twice as long as others was satisfying. In terms of enjoyment for all routes I'd go: Nene > Meguru > Tsugumi > Touko. Wakana at the end since it was a mini route. Rankings are relative of course as they all were fun to read.

This is a lovely game... until Nene went and closed the door of the Library room, and went to the table. So, I had to close the game real quick, or my family would give the stares... P.S. Never apply the patch if you lived in a shared room... T_T
