I bought this game because I love dragons, but it's bad enough that not even dragons could redeem it for me.
First of all, the most important thing a dragon can do, flying, is extremely frustrating to do in this game. You turn so slowly that you feel like you are a tank, and you also feel like you fly as if you are a tank. The running is the same again, very slow.
The map is big and thats good, but too big for this slow flying speed to explore.
Oh and if you happen to accidentally fall in water, there are no way to fly back out, so get ready to swim to nearest shore with extremely slow swimming speed that makes you feel like you are playing a walking simulator.
You can't play with your friends, it does not work, so you can forget about private lobbies.
The story is presented in a very boring and confusing way. I didn't even see the dragon NPC in spawn because it was so dark and shadowed in darkness. The animations of npcs are good at least.
There are random rocks and minerals you can mine, but there's so many drops of different kinds of minerals that you get overwhelmed easily and don't know what to do with them.
Some random structures and villages are sprinkled throughout the map, some of them don't have collisions.
There are only 2 enemies i could find in the entire game, spiders and crabs. Funnily enough the crabs are not even named, their names are "Character" instead. The exp requirement for each level is also the same, my friend was able to get to max level after a few hours of playing.
There are NO emotes for the base dragon and some other species have a few or no emotes at all.
The only positive thing i can think of saying is that the visuals are stunning, the models are pretty good. though it does take up a lot of resources (RAM, GPU , CPU) when it's running, which I'm assuming might be caused by unreal engine.
In conclusion this is a barebones game with annoying mechanics and nothing to do. The visuals are great, the character customization is mediocre, but that's all the game has to offer.
There is potential, it could be way better if its finished. But right now, the price is waaaaay too much for a game that feels like it's in early alpha testing.
