Game is a bit frustrating and I'm not sure where it is going. I don't feel like joining the 2375th Discord server for communication and news about a game. Steam forums/discussions must be okay for that. Especially for a semi-successful game like this. The game has a solid base, but I'm not convinced I'll come back and play more, since it is nothing special either.

Unique concept for a bullet heaven game with you being able to also build towers like in a tower defense game. But my biggest issue with the game is simply one thing. Why the fuck do I need to make millions of damage with a certain attack or damage type to unlock something new? I have no problem with unlocking stuff in a manner like that but the amount of damage or in general the requirments for doing so are way too much. It sometimes takes you to play 3 matches so an hour or if not more to simply unlock a new ability. The other thing is that most characters just feel the same except for their unique ability. Really wished there were some seperation to playstyle instead of just a small passive and a unique attack. Also one of the newer updates (update pace is really good, that I have to say) simply reset your meta progression to a certain point because of a new resource that has been added that you need for lvl6 and upwards when it comes to meta progression. The dev himself should have noticed as much that his game is slowly dying because I recently played again and if a newly added simple achievment only has a global achievment percentage of 5% its sad. That means 95% of the people that bought the game don't even bother to play it even with new content being added. Simply said for the devs. Reduce the unlock requirements and stop resetting meta progressions by adding some stupid new resource.

Everything is a slog in this game. Gameplay loop is " Stop Go" Stop - build a structure Go - objective spawns on other side of map It's so tiresome, and most structure won't survive being off screen for 5 seconds. The powers are slow and weak as well. Don't have hordes of mobs when the 1.5s CD attack takes 3 attacks to kill a mob. The attack tags dont make any sense and the lack of highlighting synergies is bad. Games are too slow and require too many upgrades to be the "all rounder" this game requires every character to be. Glass cannons need damage, tanks need armor and health. Everyone needs move speed for the AoE spam like Paris does. This game wants you to have damage, armor, health, move speed, upgraded attacks, and then they even have filler level up options like structure upgrades. Here's a hot tip: those upgrade options are not fun to pick.

Good game for its price (on sale!). I bought it because I like the game genre and it was on sale. I like it so far, but I hope the devs would give it a few tweaks and bug fixes. It has a potential to be a really good game, though it didn't get my dopamine levels high (like other competitors).
