Fast gameplay, tense action and fun platforming. EDIT: Review is based on a 100% achievement playthrough (both circuit mode and new game+) Background: This one was rough.. I was adamant to give up about 30 minutes into the game.. I kept ledge-grabbing when i didn't want to, my hits never landed due to their small reach, so many tools to my advantage but never got the time to learn the basics before being thrown into the game, the hookshot felt useless.. However, once I kept pushing through.. the gameplay just CLICKED! If you're like me, give yourself some time to practice the beginner stage before tackling the other stages. It can really screw your experience over otherwise. Tips: You can hookshot and grab shields from enemies. Throwing enemies unto others is often a guaranteed one-hit-kill. HP-upgrades are scattered in secret areas. Don't focus on beating the bosses at first, focus on exploring (you'll get why later) Go to the training room (that's hidden) Pros + Music is bopping + SFX is solid + Progression is fun + solid action + Fun boss fights + New game+ is actually fun + Developers listens to their community and include a lot of QoL fixes Cons - Steep learning curve (at the start) - Running and sliding requires an extra button press (changeable in the options, could be default) - I found out there's a trainig room after beating the game (why hide it?) - Memory Chips with lore contain no lore, only sometimes (seriously) - Grappling hook only attaches on certain surfaces (found out the hard way that it does not work on blocks with lasers) - The game forces you to go up and close to get personal with enemies and bosses, yet the hit-range is smaller than your character (EDIT: There are uppgrades that extends reach, why this isn't default behaviour is beyond me) - Second stage in final rush is attrocious with moving platforms with the same size as your character (feels too pixel perfect when running) EDIT: Suggestions, make sliding a default one press button by default, extend reach from attacks slightly or reduce the body hitbox from enemies, make rapid punch the default, overall: solid fun!

Very solid game that really scratched my mega man itch. Movement is stupid fun, once you get in a good flow state you feel invincible and a lot of the boss fights are very well done and really fun to fight (except like 2 but i digress). Story to me wasn't anything special. It gave you a decent purpose to keep going but the game play was my moving factor. But i will say the movement feels really good once you are able to get the double jump and unlock some other things for gravity circuit, so the first level or 2 are a bit of a slog cause of that, but once you get more movement, it feels stupid good. Very well done hope the team are cooking up something after this and will be keeping my eyes open for that. If it is a sequel though. please just make the double jump a default move set lol. Play this game!

Absolutely stellar game, easily one of my favorite platformers. It's very fun to blitz through a level, and the bosses are all enjoyable as well. Highly recommended.

Game is a fun take on the Mega Man genre of platforming. I enjoyed the melee focused combat, and the boss fights were a good balance of challenging and fun. If you're a fan of the action platformer genre, and like games that let you play them in any order, this ones a fun little go around.

A unique and quality take on Mega Man X, build for modern standards and 16x9 displays. I can't remember a single dull moment or "that one platforming jump" part from this game. I recommend this to anyone who likes 2D platformers, whether you have or have not yet played any Mega Man entries.

an incredible Spiritual Successor to Megaman X with a some flavoring of Classic Megaman. If you've played a megaman game at some point in the past, you're pretty much good on how to play this, only changes are : you don't have an actual long range weapon, just your E rated fists (a few things do increase the range of your attacks) no actual dash per say, but you can just increase your speed and momentum by just holding a button. your boss abilities, now called burst techniques, all use the same resource and only so many can be equipped at a time. ( you get a ton of em by the end of the game) and finally the unique thing this game presents compared to other megaman games is a hookshot that can allow you to attached and swing from ceilings. it also allows you to grab things from a distance including stunned enemies(which you can throw for a majority of one hit kills) The visuals and designs is where that flavoring of Classic megaman comes in, much lighter in tone with designs. Cartoony and very vibrant, much of the character dialogue is laced with dumb jokes that'll get a chuckle out of ya here there. The music does need it's time to shine here, done by the very talented Dominic Ninmark(he also did the character designs), it brings the Guitar shred feeling of Megaman X through and through. Many times you just wanna hang out for a bit a just listen to the man's work. Storywise it's another example of that Classic megaman flavoring, a mysterious army called the virus army attacks and you as the Gravity Circuit must go out and defend the innocent bots of the City. This army is being lead by your former comrades of the Guardian Corps, strike out against them to find out why they betrayed the Guardian Corps. That radiates the classic megaman story lines. This game has plenty of replayablity with locating lost bots in the levels along with finding life and burst gauge upgrades. once a game is completed a speed run mode and new game plus mode is unlocked giving you more reasons to drop back in to try for a lower time and to punk the game with more power. If you loved Megaman X in particular, this game is something i highly recommend picking up.

Amazing game. Still getting a feel for it, but it's definitely great on hitting the nostalgia points. I love the upgrades and how you can approach each map with different skills for a different experience. Great when you can pop up a game and be able to hop in, have fun, and get out.

Not a huge fan of the megaman, megaman x, or megaman zero series but found myself having a lot of fun with gravity circuit. Something about the fast-paced combat and movement sucked me in and I knocked out the game in a couple days. Gravity Circuit is so much than a simple megaman clone or homage. Hope there is a sequel in the future because I want more.

The combat and traversal is fun and satisfying, the pixelated artstyle is a visual feast and the music absolutely rocks. The game is also just the right amount of challenging. Easily one of my favorite indie games.

gonna be honest, this was the least thought out purchase of mine, for a very good reason. I see grapple, i see mega man zero esque gameplay, i see customizability, and i see the funny giga crush from the Gaea armor in Mega Man X5. The animal part of my brain instantly hit buy. jokes aside this game is downright phenominal. It's one of the few games that i've completed just a couple days after purchasing heh. Worth every penny, whether it's on sale or not. Addicting, with a really good story line that picks up INCREDIBLY well towards the end. Oh, and the soundtrack, visuals, punchy sound effects and everything make this even better. Hash's theme is probably my favorite. All of the songs slap regardless!

Outrageously good mega-man style game with tons of secrets, several great bosses, and excellent movement. You should absolutely give it a try if you have any love in your heart for 2d platforming action games. You can beat the game on the easier difficult in as little as a few hours, but the NG+, challenge modes, and higher difficulties will keep you busy.

This game is breathtaking, so many different ways you can play it through with the upgrades, at least during the final stretch you can build to fit your play style really well. Has a decent story to it too, and wraps things up well enough that it doesn't leave the audience expecting a sequel that might never come(like some indie games). Easily worth it's full-price, let alone sale price.

Gravity Circuit takes the gameplay of the Megaman franchise. but with a "teensy" bit more combat. You. the main character, must go beat up you're previous comrades because their causing problems! Enemies scattered across every stage with no real reason, with books being used to record data! Do you have what it takes to beat them all? (Recommended with a controller)

Fun platforming that is very satisfying but it still doesn't feel overly punishing. Decent upgrade/customization system.

Fast paced, tight controls, lots of mobility and a fantastic soundtrack tied nicely together to create one of the best action platformers I've played in years. Decent challenge without being overly difficult and while you can take it slow to learn the layout and find secrets, the game really shines in how it allows you to just burst through stages once you master all the movement options and upgrades you get. I am not a speedrunner, but similarly to how I always go back to play Mega Man X4 from time to time in order to try beating it as fast as possible, I can see myself doing the same with Gravity Circuit. Absolutely stellar! I can't recommend it enough!

I thought this would be more megaman than tekken based on the promotional video, but was disappointed to find it to be the other way around.

One of the best if not the best Mega Man clone around. Everything is nice: the story, the characters, the abilities that remind Mega Man a lot but are still original and feel fresh, the battles, achievements that encourage you to keep playing... The only low point in my opinion are the "jump-and-hook" parkour sections because the controls aren't precise enough. The scheming pink paint phasing skill also suffers the same lack of control precision issue that keeps activating when it wasn't supposed to be. But these problems won't keep you from having fun. If you're into Mega Man games, you're gonna love this one.
