Weekly updates bring new fixes and enhancements, showing their dedication to making the experience even better. I grew up playing Sega classics. Never did I think a modern game could capture that magic—until Code Alkonost. It’s an interactive, old-school horror film with incredible atmosphere and immersive storytelling. The game’s graphics are impressive, creating a world that feels both dreamlike and terrifying, keeping me hooked from start to finish. New games of this quality and price don’t come around often. Supporting the developers now will help them create DLCs or even a sequel to continue this incredible story.

A solid game right here. It features a lot for the price tag. The game has voice acting, puzzles, solid graphics, gettin' stalked, exploration etc. The story centers around our protagonist searchin' for her sister. There is some jank but it doesn't get int he way of the experience. I am curious to see how the rest of the game takes shape. Not a bad effort from a small team. What I've seen so far is very good. The game features a variety of locations clearly inspired by Balkan landmarks—one level even reminded me of Đavolja Varoš. The atmosphere is spot-on, giving off vibes similar to the old Yugoslavian film Leptirica. The game boasts over 10 characters (no spoilers!), and the narrative is delivered through a blend of cutscenes, scrolls you discover, and environmental storytelling, which is very immersive. Despite using Unreal Engine 5, the game runs smoothly on my old PC (i5-8400 processor), which is impressive. The price feels symbolic for everything the game offers, though I can see room for polishing and expanding the story. I understand the design decisions made; after a long testing phase, they clearly focused on what most players enjoyed. Overall, it’s a unique experience, especially for fans of folklore-inspired stories. Highly recommended!

I really like it and would recommend it for sure. If you like first-person atmospheric games and mythology than this is for you. Slavic legends are amazing and should be showcased more! Its an indie game and the dev put so much effort so I will always support it!

Really cool game and atmosphere, it kinda reminds me of Resident Evil 4 in that regard. The performance is excelent at Epic quality on my machine and the story is really intresting considering that it is really rare to find a game that uses Slavic mythology as a base. The only negative is that tutorial and intro could be a bit better in the start of the game but I was able to figure it out in a few minutes and get emersed in the story. Highly worth the price tag as you can see a lot of effort went into it!

First small game from small indie team - so not everything is polished. Intrigue and unique story which just started - I am waiting new parts to continue the story. I want more ethno music from the game - it is wonderful. Scream parts are very effective.

Why is this game not on consoles? It’s like Resident Evil in Old Slavic pagan times – what are PS and Xbox waiting for?
