if you buy this game just for Eve, you're getting your moneys worth. if you buy this game for the great gameplay and combat, you're getting your moneys worth. if you buy this game because liked Nier:Automata and you like souls-likes, you'll want the DLC but you're getting your moneys worth. if you like angelic music with a female singer who never actually says any words you're getting your moneys worth. If you like crisp visuals, good performance on launch, and great level and world design, you're getting your moneys worth.

While not as precise as Sekiro, or unique as Nier, Stellar Blade hits. Well made, if you liked the other two games you will love this. FF16 meets uncharted climbing mechanics. Nothing too unique here, they just didn't drop any of the balls they were juggling.

Great optimization, smooth combat. Tried to follow the story but the camera had other plans. Kept showing me the same two arguments over and over. Strong ones, though.
A Stunning Action RPG with Fluid Combat and Engaging Customization
I’ve had a blast playing Stellar Blade! The combat is absolutely top-notch - fluid, dynamic, and incredibly satisfying. It really pulls you into the action, and chaining together combos feels so rewarding. The skill customization for Eve is a standout, allowing for tons of variety in playstyles. I loved experimenting with different skills and finding combos that suited my preferences. The combat system really makes this game shine (and of course the outfits). The world-building is also solid, even though I wish we could've explored it a bit more. What we do see is gorgeous, and I was always excited to discover new areas. The side characters are interesting, but I do wish some of them were fleshed out a bit more. In fact, the Director mentioned that they had to cut quite a bit of content, including more character development for Eve. It’s a shame, as we could’ve seen more of Eve’s personal growth (the Director mentioned things like her first time trying on human clothes or the start of her collection of cans - small moments that would’ve made her character feel even more relatable and nuanced). One of the highlights of the game is definitely the collectibles you can find scattered throughout the world. From various outfits that Eve can wear (which are both stylish and unlockable after certain milestones) to small trinkets such as earings, there’s a lot to keep you engaged. The outfits in particular are a treat - finding them and customizing Eve’s appearance adds an extra layer of fun and personalization. It's a nice touch that keeps the exploration feeling rewarding and fresh, especially as you progress through the game. The side missions are where the game loses a bit of steam. Quite a lot of them are just fetch quests or “kill X number of enemies” objectives (don't even get me started on the photo challenges), which can feel repetitive. However, they don’t detract too much from the overall experience, especially when the main game is so engaging. That being said not all of them are designed that way. And some of them even let you explore newly unlocked areas in previously explored locations. The story is good, though it can be predictable at times. That said, I still found it enjoyable and it kept me invested throughout. There’s also some replayability built into Stellar Blade. The New Game+ and New Game++ modes unlock after completing the game each time, and they’re necessary to access some of the outfits (mostly recolors) and new skills. It’s great for players who want to dive deeper into the game, unlock everything, and experiment with different builds and gear. The extra playthroughs definitely extend the lifespan of the game and give you more incentive to return once the main story is wrapped up. All in all, Stellar Blade is a great action RPG with incredible combat and a solid, if sometimes predictable, story. Despite a few underdeveloped side characters and the lost potential in Eve’s deeper development, I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys fast-paced combat and character customization!

So, I've finished the game and I really like Eve's bu... I mean the story in this game. The story is pretty good and straight forward. As for the performance, the game runs pretty good, there are just a few minor stutters at some points especially in the city, but it doesn't bother me too much, maybe it's just a problem with my CPU or something in the game I don't know. Btw, the game is pretty easy so it shouldn't be a problem for casual players, but if you find the game too easy, try taking off Eve's Suit, it'll make the game and the player Harder.

Combat like a casual (in a good way) version of Sekiro. Hard mode is brutal. Visuals like FF. Waifus like Nier. NG+ has additional content. Collab with Nikke and Nier. Boss rush mode. 130+ outfits to unlock for Eve. Top tier photo mode. Need I say more?

Came for gooner reasons, stayed for gamer reasons. It feels like Bayonetta again where it seems at first like they're just trying to sell sexuality but you end up getting an extremely solid game with the deal. The story, world, and characters are all really cool at a surface level but all also feel like they have much more to give. I wouldn't say they leave much to be desired so much as I simply desire more of them. Gameplay-wise this game has combat somewhere between Elden Ring and Metal Gear Rising, Dead Space-esque horror sections, platforming puzzles, and of course a fishing mini-game. It feels like its trying to do too much to be great at anything in particular but yet it's somehow all done well enough to actually have a good time with. The developers very obviously recreated aspects of other popular games to incorporate into their own but its executed in a way that feels like more of a respectful homage than just greedy corporate plagiarism. Even the Nikke and Nier DLC made it feel like I was playing the other games a little. In summation, there's no single aspect of this game that I loved but also no aspect of it that I didn't enjoy. Every single hour I spent on this game was an enjoyable hour and that's why it was worth every dollar to me.
Sexy, Stylish, and Absolutely Savage
Forget saving humanity—Stellar Blade is really about Eve proving that high heels and a skintight suit are peak combat attire. Who needs armor when you’ve got confidence, a giant sword, and physics that… uh… enhance immersion? The gameplay? Smoother than Eve’s voice lines. Parry, slash, and booty-bounce your way through hordes of mutants like the angel of death (and thighs) you were born to be. The devs clearly prioritized two things: tight combat and even tighter outfits. Priorities. Story-wise, it’s your classic "last hope of mankind" deal—but let’s be real, you’re here for the aesthetic. Every cutscene is a reminder that Eve could step on you, and you’d say thank you. P.S. Stellar Blade is the video game equivalent of that one ex who was way too hot for you—objectively problematic, but you keep coming back for more. 10/10, unapologetic trash (that I will defend in court). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3499739587 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3507501994 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3502482136
Stellar Blade (PC) – The Combat is Tight, but Not as Tight as Eve’s Outfit

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Goon/5)
Let’s cut the crap. This game hits PC and suddenly every modder on Earth woke up like: “Time to work.” I installed the game. Clicked “Play.” Got to the main menu. Closed the game. Went to Nexus Mods. Reopened the game 3 hours later looking like I was booting up Stellar Baddies: Complete Edition.
Gameplay?
Yeah, it’s real. Combat is legit. Parrying feels good. Dodging is slick. Bosses will curb-stomp you if you don’t focus — which is hard, because half the time I’m distracted by jiggle physics doing parkour across my screen.
Story?
Something something humanity… something something corruption… insert anime monologue about emotions and identity. I was kind of paying attention, but also I was playing in Ultra graphics with ray-traced cheeks. Forgive me.
Mods?
Absolutely out of control. There’s more plastic in my mod folder than in a Barbie factory. If you thought Skyrim was unhinged, wait until you see Eve in a bunny suit fighting cosmic horrors with a Hello Kitty energy sword.
Pros:
- Combat is actually fun - Stunning visuals - Eve - Camera angles knew what they were doing - Modding community went feral within 48 hours
Cons:
- Some areas felt like mobs were places just to slow you down - The platforming has some jank to it but is still good
Final Verdict:
If you’re here to "experience the deep narrative of a fallen Earth in a dystopian future"... You're lying. But it’s okay. We’re all lying together. Game slaps. Mods slap harder.

it won't appeal to everyone, as nothing can, but... if you love Stellar Blade, you're going to really love it. that's certainly the case for me. i originally beat the game back on PlayStation 5 and it was my overall game of the year for 2024 and perhaps now even sits amongst my favourite games of all time. (Animal Well was my PC GOTY, but with consoles included, Stellar Blade narrowly takes the cake.) it was the primary reason i even purchased a PS5, along with Astro Bot. i still have to get around to playing that one, but i've been loving Astro's Playroom this past week! i spent over 60 hours with Stellar Blade on PS5, completing the majority of its side content, but not everything. i had such a great time with it that i knew i wanted to do another playthrough soon, but decided to wait for the PC release when i saw that it was on the way. Stellar Blade is composed of fantastic qualities that elevate it to a master class game among all works of interactive fiction. its world, characters, and lore captivate me in a way that few others do. it takes obvious inspiration from a variety of sources, but manages to create its own unique identity out of the mix. some pieces harken back to The Matrix, and some small details of remind me of my favourite film, Blade Runner. i've seen comparisons to Nier, but i haven't played any of those games so i cannot say. (i will need to check out Automata soon!) the game presents its universe in a simultaneously vague but direct form, with an emphasis on the human condition and profound vulnerability. additionally, the artwork, visuals, sound design, and music in Stellar Blade are absolutely top notch. its soundtrack has quickly become a favourite of mine. The OST is full of wondrous ambient tunes, energetic electronic cuts, and poppy tracks with vocals that are both catchy and soothing. i can say that the voice acting is of very high quality for both Korean which i went with on PS5 and Japanese which i picked on PC. i've seen some criticism leveled at the character/enemy designs on the game, and while i do like them a lot, i do understand that's a pretty subjective thing. however, i think it's more or less objectively true that the areas you traverse in the game are breathtaking and full of evocative scenery. if there's ever been a post-apocalyptic world i'd love to exist in, it's this one. open world games often feel boring and empty to me, but i didn't find this place to be at all dull. there's a good blend of more linear and very open areas, and it's just the right scale of being a big game without feeling overwhelming to the point of eliciting apathy. the game may reach its peak for both the exploration and world building around halfway through. i greatly enjoy the beginning and the end of the Stellar Blade, but the mid point was where i began to be truly amazed and experienced the most awe inspiring moments. exploration in the game is great fun and extremely satisfying, with both interesting and useful stuff to find if you wish to delve into all the nooks and crannies tucked away. i felt compelled to look around everywhere to perhaps find a juicy nugget of lore, some useful supplies, collectibles, enemies to fight, or even just something cool to look at. most of all, i never knew if i might find a new outfit! trying on all of the pretty outfits for Eve and her friends is perhaps my favourite part of the game overall. fashionistas should be quite happy with the quantity and variety of clothing on offer here. i love being able to self insert and play as a beautiful woman in video games, and Stellar Blade utterly excels in that department. customization of not only one's own clothing outfits but also glasses, earrings, and hairstyles is so greatly appreciated and contributes a lot to immersion. the PS5 version of the game already had a plethora of clothing options, but the PC port's many additions just ups the ante even more. there's a load of new, official cosmetics added for this version, as well as numerous high quality contributions from the mod community. i don't play many action/Soulslike kind of games, but Stellar Blade still managed to impress me quite a bit in the combat portion of the gameplay too. i think a large reason for that is that it isn't purely a Soulslike; the combat is faster paced and includes jumping, aerial attacks, ranged attacks, combos as well as blocking/parrying/dodging. it feels like a blend of Dark Souls combined with snappier action games like Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, and Bayonetta. you get the best of both worlds of combat: a noticeable weight and deliberate flow, but also a quicker paced rhythm. i'm normally not very skilled at these types of games, and while i struggle at times, it's an enjoyable level of challenge. the game offers you plenty of different methods/strategies for staying alive through unlockable abilities, upgrades and usable items. fighting in the game just feels great, and slashing countless enemies to shreds hasn't gotten old to me yet. some of the those bosses though... so much awesome and so much pain... when you're not fighting, Stellar Blade also has bits of light platforming/climbing/wallrunning as well as simple puzzle solving within its exploration that keep things from getting stale. the quality of the game's action has inspired me to explore action/Soulslike games more in the future. Stellar Blade lives up to the title. it's truly a stellar, masterpiece of a game that shines brightly in every facet of its elements and production values. it's incredibly rare that i purchase a game twice, and i also am usually quite a firm believer in skipping games with Denuvo DRM. for this one, though, i had to make an exception. i plan on playing through it quite a bit more on both platforms, it's got insane replay value for me. i can't wait for the sequel! EDIT: i figured i should add a small note about the game's performance for the PC port- overall, it's extremely positive! i don't have a top of the line PC and can still get a stable 60fps at almost maxed out settings the vast majority of the time. (i just have some lighting/shadows sort of settings turned down to medium.) i did initially have a weird issue where texture quality looked very blurry and low res on some walls, floors etc. when i set the quality to anything below "very high", but my PC can handle the setting maxed so everything looks great now. i have had occasional frame drops in random places and when some scripted events begin, but such occurances are rare and don't detract much. these issues don't seem to have to do much with my hardware, but i would perhaps have a better time with a beefier rig. combat has performed perfectly for me except for one or two instances. i will note that frame drops were occasionally present even on the PS5 version, and on PS5 i had multiple crashes! i haven't had any crashes on PC. all things considered, it's nearly flawless for a day one console to PC port, which is a welcome surprise... especially compared to other recent ports of a similar nature, specifically Sony ones. im sure that patches later on will be able to fully polish this port.

First time playing this type of game, so this is a "review from the outside" so to speak! Intimidated by these kinds of action games? So was I. I honestly bought the game mostly blind because I wanted to support the developer and the game. I really had no idea what I was getting into, though. I don't usually play this type of game, with fast reactions and parrying and combos. I've seen a lot of people saying that it is "worse than this game" or "better than this one" but at the end of the day, I have no idea because I never played those other games either. I can only judge this game on what I have played of it so far. I'm about 6 hours in, and I'm really having a lot of fun. It's been a tough time though getting used to it! I am playing on normal difficulty, and I just beat the first major boss I guess, Gigas. I struggled quite a bit early in the game to understand how to parry and attack. I had to really focus on teaching myself not to button mash. I even watched a YouTube tips video on how to approach combat, and that helped. Once combat started to click, I really found it quite rewarding. I was surprised at how much I've enjoyed it. I still think I struggle a bit but it felt really good to take down the boss, and honestly sometimes I even now impress myself with how efficiently I take down some of the enemies that plagued me just a few game hours ago. Feeling yourself progress as a player is kind of exhilirating, and this game has just the right amount of challenge for me to feel like it has been a tough but rewarding and fun experience. One of my favorite factors in this game though is the lack of punishment for failure. I die quite a bit, or at least I used to... and you really don't suffer because of it. Unlike some other games where every death you lose something important, this game prefers to just reset you and let you try again. It lets you focus on the game play, on your fight strategy. Want to try a different approach? Go ahead. If you fail and die, it's just a retry. I love that about this game. Punishment is something I don't value in a game, and is part of the reason I have always avoided the souls-like titles... but this game really doesn't punish you. It just asks you to practice more, and try a bit harder. I love that, and it's probably the single most important factor in my willingness to put the time in to improve. And I've really taken to it! Obviously the visuals in the game are great. Not just talking about Eve, though she is visually great... but the rest of the game looks fantastic. I really enjoyed the opening sequence with everything crashing down. There have been some really great vistas and areas I've gone through so far. I'm not using mods or anything like that, but I will admit that the outfit crafting and such is a bit addicting. Call it what you want, but having Eve as the main protagonist just adds to the experience. The story of the game is simple, which is fine. I don't think this game needed a super deep, complex moral story. It's just enough that you understand who you are and why you are doing what you are doing. The supporting characters are there, they serve a purpose, and they are fun to have involved. I'll admit, some of the dialogues are a bit simple and the conversations a bit stunted... but its not too bad. The voice acting overall is very good. What really brings me back to playing this though is the combat and the continuing exploration of the world, the visuals, and the unfolding story arc.

🔥 Stellar Blade: A Review So Horny It Violated the Geneva Convention 🔥 Listen to me. I didn’t play Stellar Blade — I was defiled by it. This wasn’t a gaming session. This was a spiritual awakening wrapped in latex and jiggle physics. I booted up the game, saw Eve’s opening strut, and immediately started breathing like a pug in July. The way she moves? Illegal. The outfit? Criminal. The backshots—I mean, backflips? I needed a priest and a bottle of holy water. Every time she dodged an attack, I dodged my dignity. That woman didn't just slay monsters — she slayed me. Emotionally. Physically. Anatomically. The camera angles? Designed by the devil himself. Someone on that dev team was NOT okay. I’m talking “spent 400 hours animating her inner thigh with tears in their eyes” energy. I entered cutscenes as a man and exited as a puddle. At one point, the camera panned behind her while she climbed a ladder, and I swear to God, I heard my PS5 whisper, “You don’t deserve this.” Combat? Yeah, I guess there’s fighting. But I wasn’t focusing on dodges and parries — I was locked in on the booty physics coded by Zeus and rendered by Unreal Engine’s thirstiest engineers. Her special moves should’ve been rated AO for Absolutely Obscene. I paused to look at her idle animations and woke up three hours later, covered in Dorito dust and regret. I’ve never felt this way about a game character. I made her my phone wallpaper. I changed my Netflix password to her name. I whispered “yes mommy” every time she picked up loot. I tried to romance her by standing still in front of her reflection. She blinked. I moaned. At one point during a boss fight, I died because I got distracted by the way the wind gently brushed against her lower back. I uninstalled the game out of shame… and reinstalled it ten minutes later because I physically couldn’t go on without her. My therapist says I need help. I say I need Eve DLC. FINAL SCORE: 69/10 Would smash IRL / 10. I didn't beat the game. The game beat me.

There comes a time in every man's life when he needs to take a look at himself in the mirror and wonder how exactly he reached such a place. You have to truly ponder what decisions you have made along the way that brought you to the place of your final reckoning. There’s nothing wrong with it. I mean, Eve’s gravity defying cheeks Jiggling throughout the entire game and having more purpose than the combat pretty much makes it a perfectly stellar masterpiece after "Nier". But the moment you realize that, you start to see just how flawed you and the rest of humanity is. What drove me to purchase such a game? What part of my soul felt so empty that I thought a virtual girl could fill it? When I look into the boundless depths of my own loneliness I see a pool of reflection. My face isn't there, there is no face. There are only tears in that pool, tears of shame and loss and confusion. If it were up to me again I know I would purchase it in a heartbeat, I know I would load it up and skip through the menu section just so I can have a tiny little taste of them Buns, which are readily available online for free. Yet, despite the abundance of naked virtual women waiting in the digital sphere, I still chose to purchase this game and devote hours of my life to it. That time will never return to me, it is lost just like my soul and just like the time I fear I may never find it again. There is something broken within me, something that desires sensation beyond my reach, something that whimpers every single night with the knowledge that there is no true Princess, it is a merely an illusion. In my pursuit to find meaning in this long life, I sought the colorful lights and sounds of a world that only exists in a pop up window on my computer. I am unsure what the moral of this review is, I am unsure about my place within the universe, all I know is that no amount of virtual girls can cure the vast rot that has overtaken me.
The time has come, Eve.
The game is high-quality hack and slash representative with a well written story and interesting characters. Another undisputed plus is that the game runs smooth. I also would like to highlight the beautiful animations. Despite all the fan service in the game, Stellar Blade would be just as good even without it.

Anyone else get this game cause Eve looks smoking hot in all the outfits? No? Yeah, me neither >.> Real talk, I got this game because visually and thematically it reminded me of Nier Automata. And there are some similarities. From the post apocalyptical world, chip enhancements, droid companion and yes... the kick ass, boss babe protagonist. But I feel like that is where the similarities end. The combat is the main difference. I think it is worth noting that I am a cozy gamer. I play most of my RPG/JRPG's on story mode. I tend to avoid anything with a ‘Soul like’ vibe. I would say that the mobs in this game are easy enough but the boss fights are a challenge. The fights rely on some coordinated button smashing, as well as some dodge and parry mechanics. That being said, there are ways to cheese it with the skill tree and the game gets easier as you upgrade and chip up your gear to suit your play style. I am having a lot of fun playing around with builds actually. I think it is important to note that so far (for me at least) this is not your normal "story mode" experience. It does offer an oddly satisfying challenge that's coupled with nice artwork, Nier inspired tunes and a wide variety of outfits/accessories. I’m also enjoying the exploring in between points. Undecided on the actual story but the other features will keep me going for now. It’s interesting enough but doesn’t feel overtly original. So whilst I am not used to wiping on a boss multiple times, maybe beneath this cozy gamer exterior is the heart of a budding Souls' player. Who knows haha, here's hoping!!
Side note: I DO NOT TRUST ADAM -_-
UPDATE: Just finished and just had to come back and again reinforce my recommendation. This is a really solid game!! The combat is so well done and I had so much fun! Although predictable at times, the game ended up having some twists and turns that I did not see coming. Honestly great game, give it a chance and don't judge it just based off of how Eve looks. You really can dress her up in all sorts of outfits, with enough offerings to suit various tastes.
Multiple endings too, forcing you to make some touch decisions!!
From the very first minute, Stellar Blade declares itself an impressive title. Its fantastic world design and unparalleled gameplay cement its place as one of the year's best new releases. What struck me most was its distinctive and almost otherworldly atmosphere, brilliantly set within a cyberpunk framework. As a huge fan of Nier:Automata, diving into Stellar Blade was more than just playing a new game; it brought back warm memories of the Nier experience. The way it blends intense action with a captivating atmosphere truly resonates, offering a delightful sense of déjà vu that only a true Nier enthusiast would appreciate. Adding to its prowess, Stellar Blade delivered some of the best optimization I've seen in a release in years. The technical polish truly enhances the overall experience. A labor of love, Shift Up! <3 Сродна праця, Shift Up! <3

Stellar Blade caught my eye the moment it got revealed, for it's amazing visuals and gameplay (totally not because of that latex suit and juggle physics). I was not disappointed in the slightest. From the moment I first launched this on my PS5, to the moment I finished the game... I wanted more. This is how you do a game! Below I will express how well this game actually runs on my PC, and, all of my former thoughts on the game after achieving 100% on PS5 with about 150 hours logged in total, so, let's get to it!
Pro's
⚫The graphics are just dead drop gorgeous. From the looks of Eve (in her stunning outfits may I add) to the decrepit, war torn, run-down buildings you get to explore.... everything has been thought about and the detail is beyond amazing! ⚫The monster designs are just stunning also. The detail on them is crazy well done. ⚫Another note about monsters - the game has 58 different variants of Naytiba for you to fight. So one can say, the game has plenty of variety! ⚫As you progress you get given new tools, items, skills, burst-skills and so much more to keep the gameplay constantly evolving, keeping YOU involved in the game and invested! ⚫The game is accompanied by a soundtrack that unbelievably suits the game so well. The music is like having an ear orgasm, to me anyway. I fell in love with this soundtrack for a long time. ⚫The combat is fantastic. Slick combos to smooth animations, yet, challenging enough for the player to learn! Not only that, it has a "customizable skill system" that goes so in depth it can be tailored to each individual players preference (to a degree of course). Not only that ⚫The boss fights in this game are amazing!!!! This is how you do boss fights! Challenging, rewarding combat against a big hulking opponent that's made to pummel you into the floor... damn... you can't get better! ⚫They have tonnes of content for you to do. From sidequests to fishing, which by the way is rather fun, good luck getting that outfit!! ⚫The open world exploration is really fun! Finding collectables, triggering hidden fight encounters and not only that, rather rewarding for Eve. Max health increase, check. Max energy increase, check. New exoskeletons, check. Trust me, the 2 zones you get to explore - EXPLORE!!! ⚫The game has DLC and a NG+! (this wasn't a thing when I played hence why I added it in here!) ⚫Performance wise - not a single issue so far. No lag, stutter, freezing, crashing... this is a fantastic PS game to release on PC and that is rather shocking to me. Worth every penny! ⚫The developer managed to make it so the PSN requirement is NOT needed and they also managed to get this game restored to hundreds of countries PSN wasn't allowing it in. That, that shows how dedicated Shift Up are!!
Con's
⚫The Story - It's not bad, it has it's moments but remember - Hyung-Tae said "He is a visualist, not a storyteller" so, don't expect a story that is 10/10 award winning bafta. The reason for this is that some characters felt... lacking in some aspects (personality mainly). ⚫Some of the sidequests are just boring, repetitive and unrewarding. You slog through an area you have already been to only to earn gold or XP.
My Verdict/TL;DR
Stellar Blade is an exceptional game. The combat feels amazing, if you are a fan of Sekiro, it feels just like that but in my humble opinion - BETTER. Animations are beyond smooth. Graphics are drop-dead gorgeous, I mean... look at Eve and the enemy designs. The soundtrack is like having an ear orgasm. Everything about Stellar Blade (but the story) is phenomenal. Shift Up, as a new studio has really showed companies like Ubisoft, EA and more, how it's done and those companies can learn from Shift Up.
10/10. It's to hard to play with one hand Shift Up, what have you done to us!!
Game fucks hard. Here to leave a positive review because exclusive games aren't the way of the future and hopefully the publishers will see that. Story is great, cross overs with Nier and NIKKE are banger and all while EVE is a joy to look at. 10/10.

Slick combat, interesting story, and the eye candy is just the cherry on top. Well worth the asking price.

Stellar Blade runs really smoothly on PC, with no noticeable hiccups even on 4K res / high settings, so it’s a great experience overall. The combat is a blast, super fast and fluid, and you’ll find yourself pulling off some seriously cool combos. The graphics are gorgeous too, very detailed characters ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) and beautiful environments make the whole world feel alive. It’s just a really fun, visually impressive game to dive into.

This game is a well-crafted action-adventure title with gameplay that's both challenging and engaging. It captures that Soulslike tension and atmosphere, but without the punishing setbacks, making it much more approachable while still keeping you on edge. Visually, it's stunning. The graphics are top-notch, and the PC port runs incredibly well. It really takes full advantage of the platform with excellent performance and polish. There are no microtransactions aside from a few collab DLCs (Nikke and Nier:Automata) The soundtrack is absolutely sublime and adds a lot to the overall vibe. And yes, the character designs are pure eye candy—stylish, detailed, beautiful. While the story feels a bit familiar for this genre and world settings, it’s still enjoyable and keeps the momentum going. It might not redefine action games or break new ground, but it delivers a fun and satisfying experience that should definitely appeal to fans of action titles and Soulslike. Just dont play with one hand.

- --{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☑ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS Modern games are pretty much all beautiful either way. So, not much to say here, the game is absolutely stunning. - --{ Gameplay }--- ☑ Very good ☐ Good ☐ It's just gameplay ☐ Mehh ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☐ Just don't Super solid gameplay, fast-paced combat, good acrobatics, beautiful combos and absolutely gorgeous finishers. Also, well designed bosses although some of them are duplicates. - --{ Audio }--- ☑ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I'm now deaf Those songs are absolute masterpieces. Here you will find choir, heavy metal, metal, rock and k-pop. All OSTs are just super good. Then again, in YouTube playlist for Stellar Blade, there are 143 individual songs which mean a shit-ton of sweat, tears and soul went into making them. - --{ Audience }--- ☐ Kids ☑ Teens ☑ Adults ☐ Grandma Definitely not for kids, its self-explanatory lmao. Also, not for your religious grandma. - --{ PC Requirements }--- ☐ Check if you can run paint ☐ Potato ☑ Decent ☐ Fast ☐ Rich boi ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer The game is super well optimized at least in my experience there was almost no lag throughout the whole game, maybe once or twice. - --{ Game Size }--- ☐ Floppy Disk ☐ Old Fashioned ☑ Workable ☐ Big ☐ Will eat 15% of your 1TB hard drive ☐ You will want an entire hard drive to hold it ☐ You will need to invest in a black hole to hold all the data 57GB for now. Its workable. - --{ Difficulty }--- ☐ Just press 'W' ☐ Easy ☑ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Significant brain usage ☐ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls I came from Souls games and expected a souls game so for me, the Stellar Blade were extremely easy, but for a lot of casual players it would be a bit of a challenge, but its absolutely manageable with a bit of practice and levelling. - --{ Grind }--- ☐ Nothing to grind ☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks ☐ Isn't necessary to progress ☑ Average grind level ☐ Too much grind ☐ You'll need a second life for grinding A bit of levelling and upgrading would go a long way in helping your boss fights. - --{ Story }--- ☐ No Story ☐ Some lore ☐ Average ☐ Good ☑ Lovely ☐ It'll replace your life Nothing groundbreaking but at the end I got a bit of an exestential crisis. At the start it a bit average but holy shite, once you reach the Eidos 9/Spire 4 and after that the game absolutely starts to shine and lore dump on you. - --{ Game Time }--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee ☐ Short ☑ Average ☐ Long ☐ To infinity and beyond Story without any sidequests would last probably around 15 hours, with sidequests about 30. Also, depends on how you’ll find bosses. - --{ Price }--- ☐ It's free! ☑ Worth the price ☐ If it's on sale ☐ If u have some spare money left ☐ Not recommended ☐ You could also just burn your money Assuming you are a working adult, this game is worth the price and your time. - --{ Bugs }--- ☑ Never heard of ☐ Minor bugs ☐ Can get annoying ☐ ARK: Survival Evolved ☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs - --{ ? / 10 }--- ☐ 1 ☐ 2 ☐ 3 ☐ 4 ☐ 5 ☐ 6 ☐ 7 ☐ 8 ☑ 8.5 ☐ 9 ☐ 10 **Final thoughts.** It’s a super solid game that suffered a bit due to a lack of funding. From what I have gathered, the game was nearly scrapped due to the lack of money so the devs had to cut funding for other areas such as writing. This is super evident at the start of the game as the dialogue just feels weird. You can listen to more about it in their interview down in the sources (1). Also, read about it in some posts on Reddit (2). Also, it is Shift’s Up first AAA game on PC, which undoubtedly made it much harder for them to learn all the stuff for development on PC. But, still, they have made a solid game, which is commendable. As for the game itself, I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my 60 hours playing it. Got all the collectable cans, almost all the memory sticks, documents and outfits. I have completed the game 3 times, and let me tell you, it is worth replaying Stellar Blade at least one extra time to understand why the dialogue feels so weird at the start. Because, to be fair, it is hard to write character, story and interaction when you are tight on the money part. Nevertheless, Shift Up did a pretty good job at that. Stellar Blade, however, starts to pick up pace after Eidos 9/Spire 4, and character interactions and character development are just amazing after that. All in all, super solid game, super solid world building and a massive potential for this franchise to become big. But we will see what happens ---------------------- My opinion is very similar to **That Boy Aqua** (3), what this guy said. Also, if you are interested in the deep lore of the game, go to **UnlistedNaytiba** channel, he unpacks the story really well. Also, the existential dread of AI is real with this one, along with the Forbidden West and Detroit Become Human. I was a bit shaken after I have read all the lore and the possible consequences of super advanced AI. Which is to be fair not possible in the future anyway. You’re here for the intense gameplay and deep narrative. I’m here for the skin-tight suits and suspiciously low camera angles. We are not the same.

Took me 40 hours to finish the game. There were times when my fps went down to 20-30~ which lasted for 5-10 seconds, and the game crashed about 3-4 times. Overall the game is really fun, and very well optimized, not too difficult, nor too easy. In my opinion the worst parts of the game are the platforming segments.

Stellar Blade is a game that at first glance seems like "gooner bait" but underneath is actually an amazing game. Graphics, story, music and gameplay are all great. I managed to put in the extra time to get 100% achievements after 110+hrs of playtime. Only complaint I have with NG+ re-runs is that some cut scenes aren't skippable, painful to go through some of the dialogues when you're trying to speed run the entire game. Other than that, it's a solid action adventure game, I give it a solid 8.5/10 :D
Stellar Blade: Simply Incredible
Well, I can say I'm one of those who had been waiting for this game to come to PC—I'm truly happy and amazed! It's an incredible game, with fast-paced combat and tons of action! The world around you is beautiful, even though it's apocalyptic and desolate... but it really doesn’t feel that way thanks to the uplifting presence of your companions. I'm one of those crazy players who explore every corner of the map xD, and I love that the game rewards you for doing it. It's totally worth going off the main path to see what you can find out there, haha. The music is also a masterpiece—every track I’ve heard pulled me deep into the game. It’s so magical and immersive… it completely draws you in. [Update]: I’ve completed the story and I can say it left me speechless... there are events that happen that will blow your mind! I’ll just say this game is a masterpiece— fanservice aside :> Eve is the best!! <3

Great game, soundtrack absolutely slaps, combat is very parry-focused so highly recommended for those that enjoy Sekiro. Story isn't that good but it gets pretty interesting towards the end and leaves a lot to be explored in a sequel. The best part of this game is the main story as it has a great lineup of bosses which are by far the best moments in the game, especially towards the end. The only sad part is that the best boss in the game imo is locked behind the Nikke DLC, so definitely play that if you can. Side quests are the weakest part as most of them are very basic both from a gameplay and narrative standpoint, also map traversal is kind of a pain, and you'll sometimes struggle to to go from point A to point B depending on the maps, since a lot of them are clearly made with a focus on your experience passing the first time through them and not much on the backtracking, the game even places a button that fast travels you back to the quest giver after you find the required item to remedy that. However, the game ain't that much focused in side quests to start with, and there aren't very many of them, neither there are that many collectibles, so the game doesn't overextend it's welcome on that front, and at the point that you would get annoyed by it chances are you already did everything you had to do. Overall the game is very easy and much easier than your standard soulslike because of the inclusion of revive items (again, similar to Sekiro), and you can even revive twice if you grab enough cans, which is completely busted and nullifies the challenge of most bosses if you take advantage of it, even without it, the game has a berserk mode that makes you invulnerable, skills that stagger bosses almost indefinitely, etc. You would need some serious self-limitation to find a challenge here, so if you're a souls veteran you won't have any problems whatsoever and if you're scared of this game being too hard because you don't enjoy soulslikes, absolutely do not be, this is more like a regular Playstation AAA action game more than it is a Dark Souls.

Playing on a Razer Blade 18 Gaming Notebook (2024) Story & Characters (8/10) The campaign is decent in one of the better science fiction settings/scenarios I've known so far. Motivation to finish the game was never a problem. Negatively I have to say, nearly the full cast of characters got no depths and it feels you can just exchange them with anyone else. Gameplay (9/10) While the combat system is nearly perfect without a flaw, besides the enemy focus and switching it, in my opiniom the movement is a bit unprecise, which you only notice while discovering. Mostly it was affecting me when cllimbing or when i have to stop a point and the character was still moving a few steps further. Skipping cutscenes or dialogues especially when you are in New Game ++ is not working well, there are cutscenes which can not be skipped or at least very late and skipping through dialogues works very delayed. Soundtrack (7/10) The music playing during boss fights is very good, mixing up many different genres, while the music playing during discovering the map's got me very annoyed after some time, while it was great during the beginning. Technic (8/10) Perfect PC-Port, 150 or more frames per seconds on maximum settings without stuttering or drops. The only drops in frames you will witness, are when loading a new area, which is an Unreal Engine problem and has nothing to with the game itself. The game is not the best looking PlayStation 5 game, I played even PlayStation 4 games with better graphics, but it looks very decent, with the most work put in to the main character, she looks very astonishing. The characters got no facial experessions in dialogues and look like puppets. During my nearly 70 hours playtime I only witnessed one crash, after a longer session and the only bugs I've saw, were boxes popping up and flying thorugh the air for up to 2 seconds before landing in there destined spot. Conclusion (8/10) Today there are not much games which can hook me up to grind them as much as Stellar Blade did. It was very nice experience, where only few adjustment were missing to deliver a picture perfect gaming experience. I'm looking forward to a sequel.

Review After 100% Achievements With Stellar Blade finally coming to PC, I was able to give this game a try and was really surprised at the quality of this port! Really fun and pretty easy to obtain all achievements with this one, a lot of missables but using a guide solves that. I personally really enjoyed the story/setting, and had a blast uncovering the truth of Earth’s downfall. Combat was my favorite part of the game, with you being able to mix and match different attacks together to form sick combos. The soundtrack is top tier. All three endings were cool to see, and obviously playing as Eve was a great design choice. The fishing mini-game is killer and so were all the different puzzles that you run into along the way. Just a solid experience as a whole that never became stale as I scoured the world looking for collectibles. Achievement Count: 45 Time to 100%: ~30hrs Difficulty: ★★✩✩✩ Genre of Game: Hack and Slash, Action, Adventure Fun Rating: 8/10 Checkout my YT video review or my Steam Curator Page! There are only a few games I’m willing to buy again. This is one of them. Played it on PS5 a year ago and had an absolute blast. Now I’m ready to do it all over again, but with 120fps! Take my money, Shift Up!
