I wanted to love this game. I am a farming, cozy gamer girl lover. But this game is boring. That is with me stating the obvious - repetitive tasks are boring when you can't cycle through them. I ABSOLUTELY love that farming games allow my brain to shut off, but this game made me want to pull my hair out. And seeing the developers in the discussion page say they are not only NOT changing this game, but they want to KEEP it as is because it gives the Harvest Moon feel. Guess what? Harvest Moon games are HORRIBLE after the split with Story of Seasons producer. He was the main force behind making good farming games that are heartfelt, lovely, cozy, and fun. But this game is the same exact tasks with NO break every day until you go to sleep. There is nothing to break up the mundane tasks. There is no fishing. There is no real relationships. There isn't a reason to complete the game. I played 3 hours and wanted to give up. I played 10 more hours and I am deleting all the youtube videos I made with the game play because I can't advocate anyone purchasing this game. Not even on sale. I bought it for 13 dollars and that is FAR too much for what content you get. The graphics are cute and so are some of the animals, but the precision in which you can connect with (say) the crops or any task you are doing is HORRIBLE. The tools disappear. I have seen 4 out of 5 of the animal island chair videos and 3 of them had graphic issues making them bounce. The video that you get to see on your farm after a certain task is complete I happened to watch during the rain and only the portion above me in the video had rain....the rest was devoid. It was weird. Add the fact there are no customizations, no interactable furniture beyond the bed, no husbands/wives, no children, no humans, no town, no settlement, no island to travel to, no mine, no fishing, no way to actually progress beyond "freeing" the animals.....and this game has very little going for it. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it. If a game designer tells you they hear all the outcries and plan to do nothing, believe them the first time.

While I do enjoy the game, it's very minimalistic. I've seen people finishing the game within 15 hours and, unfortunately, that makes this game a very short experience. It also feels very repetitive - even for a farming simulator game. I am still enjoying it though.

This game is my cozy happy place after a long day of work. A great beginner game for a child or grandchild that would like to start playing video games. With its easy to follow story line easy game mechanics and smooth UI its a stress free game that is absolutely perfect in every way. My only complaint is that you can not decorate your character's home and I would like to see more customization options in the character creator. Its a great game that I will buy for my kids and one of my personal favorites. Have fun.

This is a very cute farming and money management game. Its very new and slightly limiting but all around fun to play. The graphics are cute and the music nicely soothing. So put on you sun hat, roll up your sleeves and come join me and my little friends in the farm.

A beautiful little game that lets you take your time, it combines farming and gathering with shop keeping and ranching. Despite a few minor bugs, and being somewhat restrictive in decorative options, the game allows you to choose your pace without any forced time constraints or speed. Recommended for a short but relaxing farm life game.

I’ve completed all the quests in just 33 in-game days (10.9 hours IRL), and I had a blast! The game is really engaging and has a lot of potential. I’d love to see more content added after the main quest—it definitely left me wanting more!

This is a cute simpler version of farming sims like Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, Ruin Factory, etc. You can sow crops, raise animals for produce, befriend 5 wild animals (owl, pig, rabbit, deer, and ferret,) bring life back to the Island, run your own shop, complete quests, upgrade your house/barn/coop/store, help out and date villagers, forage, gather materials like wood and stones, and much more! It sounds complex and complicated but its actually pretty easy compaired to the alteranatives. I like that you get to end the day yourself by either opening the store or going to sleep, otherwise-time doesnt pass. One feature that I think its missing though is automatic tool shift so you dont have to manually switch tools every time you hit a rock, chop a tree, hoe the dirt, or water the crops.
