Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy

Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy (2025) is a fantastic game. Of course, the graphics are great but the storyline is much improved over the 1999 version, especially in the latter chapters. The achievements are relevant to moving the game forward, so they are worth pursuing. The only one that requires long continuous play is the Radio Messages but the others are gettable by looking for everything while the game is played. Savegames are easily managed outside of the game as they are event driven. The restrictions and limited mobility make the game more playable for less experienced players so that's OK for me, (although others want more free roaming). I recommend Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy (2025).

A beautiful point and click. Some of the puzzles are tricky (like figuring out a combination) and some things can be easily missed. But the story and the Adventures make up for it. At least for me. I like how after you play, you can go back to a certain Chapter to replay, but it keeps all your original investigation notes. One of the reasons I have such high hrs is because I would forget to pause it when I took a break. So it probably takes less time to play. Maybe.

Fun adventure, never too difficult, even on the harder setting. One small point of critisism is that you can sometimes miss information within an item if you don't look carefully. But the overall presentation, story and setting are cool.

Amazone is beautiful, engaging, and relaxing to play. The 'unexpected' elements make the solving of puzzles particularly enjoyable.

A very interesting story and an original way to unwind it through the gameplay. Really enjoying it!
