Extremely relaxing and beautiful game but also a little demanding in terms of (very basic) math skills you need in order to progress. Loving the trippy dream world. Only big gripe is: extremely wordy for a game about some frogs. Yeah I get it, the story is supposed to be somehow epic, but you can also do that with little to no words at all. Next time please try that. If I need to read another diary of a frog scientist #3's intern, I'll go drown myself in the Spawning Pools. Oh wait, I'm a frog and I can't read. Ribbit.

Got Mudborne thanks to my love for the dev's other game, Apico. I love both, but Mudborne improves a lot on the shared mechanics. I really enjoyed that the mushroom math didn't really leave offspring results up to chance, and that a lot of the late-game perks make 100%'ing the game very enjoyable. If you like cute frogs, puzzles, and a good plot, this game is for you. Also I'm #1 Chauna fan. I wish I had endless shiny things to give them.

Great game. Slow pace, and really nice ambiance. Calm and sweet. It was difficult to figure out next steps and I spent a lot of time lost and wandering. The frogs are so cute!

This is certainly not what I was expecting. I was expecting Stardew valley but with frogs, perhaps a farming game where instead of crops you raise gigantic herds of frogs, and there is some of that in here but what this game primarily ended up being was a genetics based math puzzle game. Its still fun and well made, and the frogs are very cute but its not exactly what I was hoping for. Theres also a ton of reading which is often required to progress in the game and that sorta slowed things down. All in all this is a very middle of the road game with a cute frog theme.

This game is absolutely cozy. I love the calming atmosphere and the creative frogs that you can find and create. The whole game oozes charm and I love it so unbelievably much for that. I have no doubt in my mind that this has been on of the best, if not THE best game I have played all year. If you are ever looking for a relaxing time, I implore you download this and give it a try. Thank you for the amazing experience, I can't wait to see what TNgineers puts our next :D

So cosy and cute, from the visuals and music to the actual gameplay. Was so pleased I could bring my demo save across to the game when I bought it!

Muborne was the first game that i met, a lot of people talk about playing Apico first, but i played the demo and only then i discovered the first game (also a masterpiece and highly recomendable). I waited a long time (a lot of cute dev logs haha) and was totally worth it. The game is cozy, but also challenging, it's funny, i love the diaries entries and all the little details about the frogs personalities and patterns and everything that makes them unique. It's well thought out. I love the art and the music, it completes the ambience and the regions. It's really cool to discover new frogs and see they inhabiting the world. Congratulations to the dev and everybody that made this game possible! It's lovely, has a powerful message and i loved the plot. What a concept! I can't wait to see the next game. Can't say i 100% apico tho, so maybe i'll comeback to that, The comunnity in the guides and in the discord and even the dev himself is very helpful too, to the completionists or to those who just felt that the difficulty was not to it's liking, Gather around this other froggers and they for sure will help you a ton. I trully recommend this game, froggers. It's cute, it's challeging and has a great story all around. Amazing music and art and an even more amazing concept very well executed.

Such a great game!! The focus and standout is the frog/mushroom creature collecting and the story. The world design and soundscape is a joy. Some of the balancing of upgrades and tool/inventory management is a bit cumbersome but didn't detract from the experience for me. Took me just under 50 hours to get all achievements with occasional wiki-ing, which is right in the sweet spot for me of being short enough to replay but long enough to be super satisfying to finish!

It's basically Stardew Valley but you're an anthropomorphic frog who can eat bugs out of midair and you farm other frogs instead of crops... What's not to like?

started off great when it came out, and it only continues to improve! i love the story behind all of it, the characters are endearing, and making hybrid mushrooms and variants of frogs has consumed my free time. thank goodness the wiki is up and the wonderful community guides helped when i just couldn't figure out a solution. i definitely recommend this game!!

Really in depth and interesting, but sadly not for me. it requires way too much investment in my dulled emotional state regardless of the incredibly helpful books.

This is a cute and relaxing game with a good story and interesting regional puzzles. Play time: Completing the story at a leisurely pace took me 38 hours. Mechanics: Capture frogs and collect resources to breed frogs with specific traits generation-by-generation, unlocking new locations. You gradually unlock more tools and options from different regions and the NPCs there. Music: Excellent!

Such a cute and fun game! It had a lot more lore to it than it seemed, which made me want to play even more.

I love this game, I really do. I played the crap out of Apico, I plan to 100% this game. The frogs are great. I love them. I have one gripe with this game and it's that going anywhere makes me want to tear my hair out. (especially when the thing you're looking for is not on the map and you're expected to know what the NPCs are talking about) I desperately need a google maps-style navigation system. The gateway hub helps, it does, but when it comes to navigating the gateways, waking, and dreaming world while having to remember wether or not those stairs exist when you're trying to use them is shredding my brain. Great game, just really needs a better GPS.

I just 100% this game, and (obviously) I LOVED IT!!! The puzzles poked my brain in a great way, finding all the little secrets were super fun, the frog sprites are GLORIOUS look at the fowl screamer and tell me that is not a little round lad they are my babies I love them all so much my frog children enjoy screaming. 10/10, if you like puzzles and frogs, definitely recommend.

This game is stunning! I loved the exploration and lore and scientific discoveries and frog genetics. I especially loved
watching the machines work, particularly the croakworks
. The quality of life features were very helpful too!
