Disclosure: I did the music!
The game is a mix of relaxing vibes with chaotic pressure-building kitty-claw slashing fights mingled with a fun story about religion, divine purpose and making ones own destiny (OK, not really haha, but you will start to feel sorry for one of the bad guys).
The story for me is what grabbed me about the game, seeing the cut-scenes is a genuine reward for the 30 seconds or so of frantic panic of swiping at those Greebles before your humans health bar reaches zero. The game works perfectly with Steam Input (I've tried it with a Playstation and retro arcade stick controllers). The vibe is retro so I replayed it with a joystick to complete the arcade-feeling experience.
The game is about 15 - 20 minutes long and I'm thinking the price feels right - it lasts longer than a can of Fanta. Anyone who's into cats will love the game, it's simple and accessible and seems to run on any machine (I'm running it on Linux/Fedora). I'm pretty happy with my role in making the music, Kate (the developer) would often say 'MORE CHAOS' so I'd layer in more melodies, more instruments and it does come together as a formula: relaxing music - then 30 seconds of anxiety inducing chaos and panic - then a reward cut-scene with fun more relaxed music.
I'd recommend this game for people who like dumb-fun-cute games. At the end you'll get to see the cat that inspired the game too :).
