Every Toilet Needs a Feline Protector
Being a cat owner myself I am fully aware of the oddity of your little fuzzy critter standing guard as you are at your most vulnerable. This game encompasses that moment in a bite size experience. In this short but sweet title you are protecting your human who is using the bathroom from flesh eating monsters called greebles. The gameplay and control is pretty simple. Greebles come in from the left and right side and you have to swat them away before they do too much damage to your human. Each stage new enemies are introduced until you reach the climatic level of fighting a boss. The writing is what really shines here. There is some great humor sprinkled throughout. About the only downside to me is just how short it is. For a first time game though there is a solid and great foundation, especially when it comes to the comedic narrative.

(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ pros ♥
+Good humor +Simple to learn +Cute
(っ>▬<)っ x cons x
-A short albeit fun experience
Although this is a short experience, it is worth the time. It's charming and silly. A good game to kind of unwind with one stressful evening. According to their Itch io, the developer taught themselves how to make a game with this first project from scratch and this title shows a lot of promise, so I look forward to their future projects. I didn't like the short experience it provided, the game should had been expanded on before releasing it, this feels like the dev got bored and shiped the unfinish product. And why does the game want to know my location? What's the deal with that?

Disclosure: I did the music! The game is a mix of relaxing vibes with chaotic pressure-building kitty-claw slashing fights mingled with a fun story about religion, divine purpose and making ones own destiny (OK, not really haha, but you will start to feel sorry for one of the bad guys). The story for me is what grabbed me about the game, seeing the cut-scenes is a genuine reward for the 30 seconds or so of frantic panic of swiping at those Greebles before your humans health bar reaches zero. The game works perfectly with Steam Input (I've tried it with a Playstation and retro arcade stick controllers). The vibe is retro so I replayed it with a joystick to complete the arcade-feeling experience. The game is about 15 - 20 minutes long and I'm thinking the price feels right - it lasts longer than a can of Fanta. Anyone who's into cats will love the game, it's simple and accessible and seems to run on any machine (I'm running it on Linux/Fedora). I'm pretty happy with my role in making the music, Kate (the developer) would often say 'MORE CHAOS' so I'd layer in more melodies, more instruments and it does come together as a formula: relaxing music - then 30 seconds of anxiety inducing chaos and panic - then a reward cut-scene with fun more relaxed music. I'd recommend this game for people who like dumb-fun-cute games. At the end you'll get to see the cat that inspired the game too :).

Such a fun minigame! You get to play as a cat AND be the hero of the story, but also get to see things through the eyes of the greebles. Emotional plot line with violent kitty action. Short, sweet, and highly recommended.

Heya!! I loved this game it's simple, short and very cute! I'm glad the developer came to make it known at the Manchester twitch meetup!! It's very impressive and well made for a first game and fun to stream, show a friend or pass the time! Hope to see an Itty Bitty Toilet Kitty 2 one day! Justice for Clive though somebody save that little meatball greeble fella!

Fun game! Probably the best game about cats in toilets that I have played in a long time. The sense of humour was really on point as well as the fine musical accompaniment. Eagerly awaiting the sequel. Or perhaps a PEEquel could also work?

Lovely little game. Got to play the Demo at a twitch event in Manchester and glad to see the full game fulfilled their potential. As someone who has a cat that loves to linger around their ankles while on the toilet I can relate to being saved from Greebles by my feline guardian. The game is well worth the cost and the time, lovely game!

This game oozes charm from the moment you launch it. The dialogue is funny and it's so satisfying killing the toilet monsters (that definitely don't exist!!). The music and SFX are so nostalgic and the pixel art is cute! Altogether a well executed game where you can tell creativity and fun come first. Down with the Sewage God! Meow!

I love this game! the developer really taps into the Psychology of a cat and its owner, and that is part of the charm about this wonderful yet simple game.

At first glance, you wouldn't expect a game like this to have much depth - but it's absolutely loaded with charm, and really gets you invested in the story! And the final boss had me laughing out loud. How many greebles have to die for your invisible god old man!?!?

I played the demo for Itty Bitty Kitty and was instantly hooked by the story - and after buying and playing the full game, it definitely did not disappoint!! I have become attached to the greebles, but also would defend my human to the grave. Short, sweet, and charmingly chaotic! Had me laughing through out!

Totally ridiculous and totally worth it. You’re a tiny cat slashing toilet monsters (Greebles!) to save your human — who is no help whatsoever on her porcelain throne — what more do you need? Controls are a bit janky (some work with a controller, some don't), there’s no pause or save, but it’s cheap, short, and weirdly fun. The writing’s goofy, in a good way, and the whole thing kept me laughing throughout. 7.5/10 – Chaos. Cats. Toilets. Sold. 🐱🚽💥
