Really good for what it is. Don't really need to evolve the weapons just pick a damage to lean on.

Excellent execution, i dont love that each hero kind of has to start over progression in their own tree but it makes sense.

cute and fun would like some visual adjustments (like the AoE barriers being large visually-- but maybe that's just preference.) off just my small amount of play; i feel like there's definitely unique builds that can show up with the RNG and they give you the resources to pull them off via the xp turns into your reroll currency. i'll circle back to it but doesn't give the "I have to play this NOW vibe" to me

As a descendant of Viking survivors I can tell you that this game is not an entirely accurate picture of what occurred historically.

Gameplay The game is another Vampire Survivors clone. You are attacked by hordes of enemies, and while moving around, you fire weapons at them. An eliminated enemy leaves a token lying around. Collecting the tokens gains a bonus. If you have selected enough bonuses, you can select new weapons or level up your character. After a while, end bosses appear that need a special tactic to beat them. Uniqueness The unique point of the game is that its based on Norse mythology. And it does it well. A good example is Mjöllnirs Hammer. A hammer that eliminates surrounding enemies for several seconds. Obviously, but well implemented Another one is Hugin and Munin. The birds are flying around, eliminating enemies. Also, a good adoption of the mythology is Tyr's judgment. A weapon that appears and eliminates several enemies nearby. Besides the ones mentioned, there are many more. Longtime fun The game offers different characters and different worlds, so there is plenty of stuff to discover. Conclusion If you like the gods and/or Vampire Survivor, you will like th

Early Access Review [2025/June/05] Cute graphics, quick responsive gameplay and an innovative "knotwork" passives board; there's enough meat here already for a solid recommendation despite the early access state. While there is certainly room for improvement, refinement and more assets (monsters, maps, merged weapons, more heroes) I had a good time with this EA version. Solid effort, devs! Some suggestions: - add windup animations to the "shy" monsters that drop big AoE attacks so the player can visually identify who/what is littering the area with obstacles/damage - add a mechanic to the knotwork board to replace common power-ups with higher-rarity versions (for those high difficulty runs where you literally can't RNG an uncommon boost to save your life) - add a method to use leftover resources to craft new patterns (ie t1-only, t1-t2, t1-t3, t2-t3, etc) - sound effects could use some improvement/adjustment; the "level-up!" sound is great, for example, but is confusing because it sounds like your character took damage or died - keep up the good work!

Plays like Soulstone Survivors. If you like that you'll like this. No collision damage, just dodge red lines and circles on the ground = STUPID. Also this game in no way feels viking themed. When you're playing a run if you didn't know the title of the game and I gave you 100 guesses what the theme was - you wouldn't guess viking / asgard, etc.

A true Survivor like with great meta progression that is just fun to dive into. Meaningful meta progression per character and a very customizable way to up the difficulty are huge bonuses as well. I hope we will see more characters and a way to expand the rune slots in the future (also please add a way to banish some Rewards per run... Frost Traps for example are *awful*)

There is nothing unique or any sign of excellence, it is a perfectly acceptable survivor styles game. Unless radically different from the time of this review, look elsewhere for that fix.

A really good entry into the bullet heaven genre. It scratches some itches other games haven't scratched for me, and getting a good streak on the Web of Wyrd is so satisfying

I love this game! An absolute blast. You can't go wrong with this. Wish they'd finished the levels there's only 4 worlds so far. Also, the knots system is really cool but I wish there was a way to focus on what build you're trying to make, for instance you can pick multiple fire, or multiple electricity abilities and then focus on buffing that particular element, If you get lucky you can get insanely powerful if you can get a couple level 3 + to whatever element and then add multiplier knots to buff them, but i feel like i only actually get to build that up maybe 1 in 10 runs. It's so random most of the time you end up unable to buss what you really want to. That said the game has tons of potential, it's a lot of fun and should be killer when finished.
