Nice story, interesting world/environment. BUT. If you want to make a game with high combat difficulty, the mechanics have to be a lot smoother for it to be enjoyable. Here you get get killed because there was a medium rock or plant that blocked you, which gets... ANNOYING. Also, horrendous saving system!!! There are save points you can interact with that give you life/ammo but respawn all enemies, you can never simply save the game as is. Overall, a waste of my time unfortunately, even though it looked super fun.

Pretty Nice so far. Has a good feel to it. Really enjoying the analytical experience of each discovery. The elemental aspect of it is pretty dope as well! Interacting with both the environment and creatures creating neat combos. Game Looks Gorgeous Play is Decent Story is intriguing Price seems fair

The game was good, but the bugs. Good god the bugs. I legit cannot beat the final boss, because the area I zone into locks my character from moving. I can't WASD. I can shoot, move, heal, but the only movement option I can have is dodge rolling. I've checked boards, forums, bug reports, and it's a common feature that Kate just. Stops. for no reason, or that she just can't move due to the controls freezing. Goes with controller as well, same problem. And since this game is 2 years old there is next to no ongoing support. Everything else? Serviceable. The main story is intriguing even if the characters are wooden or a nonfactor. The relationship between the apparition (spoiler) and Kate is genuinely interesting, but everybody else is not. Body horror is good, and the creature design is pretty choice. It's just mired in technical glitches, obtuse game design, and drab (very drab) lighting and color. Put gamma up to the max for this one. I can't recommend it.

Could be gr8, but its not, despite the reviews. 1. Sluggish controls 2. Beyond terrible dialog 3. Hitboxes Its a sci fi souls-lite game, with hit the right element after 20 dodges gimmick, in a nutshell.

surprisingly good. linear game without too much freedom of exploration but the story is intriguing enough and the combat is fun af

This is a game i wish i could rate neutrally. it has an interesting feel to the world with the air of mystery and grandeur to it, but it simply fails to immerse the player, doesnt have characters that one can attach to, and the whole thing feels nebulous. i did not end up finishing the game.

I just finished the game on commander difficulty and I must say! I am very positively surprised by this one! I didn't know what to expect, but what I got was a 3rd person souls-like shooter and it was great. In general, the movement is a bit arcade like, however the combat system is fun, you need to utilize all weapons in some fights and you need to figure out combos for your gadgets. It's a linear game and you are guided throughout, what I find nice, as I am not a fan of figuring out things on my own and wasting hours by checking everything. On top of that, the puzzles are not complex, but you have to think about it, and this is what I also really like. More games should be like this, as it reminds me of older games, like Half-Life. This is a very easy to understand game with a pace a really like. And the best thing is the setting. The alien design is awesome, reminds me of the movie Prometheus. Also the story I find interesting, as it has to do with alien life force. So, if this applies to you, go for it! You won't regret it! At least I didn't :D P.S. I would recommend getting it on sale ;)

6/10 Good graphics, interesting fighting mechanics for simple monsters and bosses as well, standard and linear story. Good game for a few evenings. Have got a bug with ability which gives additional health, 5th in my case - after death number of health returned to 4 :(

It's alright. 6.9/10 A tad basic game play. Make sure you complete all the achievements before finishing. Because once the game is over and you don't backup the save, your save is GONE. No continue post game.

I played through the campaign. I never go through achievements beforehand as they contain spoilers but it pains me that I missed only one of them and that would have been easy to accomplish as well. I'd have to start a new game and play about 7 hours to get that. So not now, but maybe later if I want to play this again some day. I probably will as it wasn't that long. This game is advertised as difficult. I set my usual settings, easiest with all aids off and it wasn't hard at all. That's to say you can play this game if you are not that skilled and just want to unravel the mysteries that await without an excessive gameplay challenge. A few spikes in difficulty still but they didn't require too much grind, a few tries was all it needed. It wasn't, for me, so easy that it took away from the survival-aspect of the game. It was a good story with some excellent elements. Usual scifi AI gone rogue stuff but well made. I got immersed a bit and it was very interesting to see how Kate's journey progressed. Especially at the beginning when you play more for survival. Later on as you gain upgrades and craft stuff it's more about completing the mission. So good job developers, a natural learning curve for the protagonist and for the player. The only gameplay quirk for me was that L1 or LB, depending on your controller, opened the inventory wheel and R1 or RB used the item. That was too much for my brain. I ended up using items in many occasions as I was trying to open the inventory in a hurry. Why? I have played hours and hours of games that open it with R1 or RB and d-pad up or down uses. Here the weapons occupied all d-pad slots so it was a trade-off for that use-button. Holding RB also aims throwable items, that feels intuitive so you have to adapt, like Kate and I did, it just took hours. Yeah, so gameplay was good, I'm just sweating the small stuff. Kate isn't the most agile protagonist but it goes nicely with the story. Bottom line, try it. It is or was(hehe) 4,49€ on summer sale 2025. Well worth that.

Good, not excellent, pleasant watertight storyline in a fairly classic sci-fi setting.

Pretty good game. Has souls-like elements. Good game-play can be pretty easy. Really fun and short. Achievements are doable in one play-through and they're easy to get. Story was pretty cool too!

I completed the game on the hardest difficulty and done 95% percent of the achievements in a single play through. Game is not perfect, but i liked it and had fun with it. Last boss drove me mad, but at the end i found the way to beat it. This game makes you think at times, it is not just about nuking the enemy.
