Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/uGTXNGB9ugw I thought I had spent maybe 30 minutes playing the game, instead it was over an hour long. When I lose track of time, that generally means I had fun playing the game. This game surprised me with just how polished it was overall. It's an arcade sim, just realistic enough to be challenging, but approachable enough that it's still fun for everyone. Honestly, this is the best construction simulation game that I have played in VR. This game and electrician simulator have really knocked it out of the park for PCVR. I hope future sim games for VR match this kind of quality release. Game not only has a mission campaign, but it also has a sandbox mode, and a mini-game mode where you can play a bowling-inspired mini-game with your digger, along with 2 other mini-games (I haven't tried them yet). Game is running on the Unity Engine. The graphics are on the cartoonish-side, but the good news is that the game ran great on my RTX 3080. I was getting a steady 90 fps. No issues or bugs of any kind. You do have full locomotion / teleportation available, along with smooth or snap turning. You can play comfortably seated. You can easily adjust your seated position so that all the levers are easy to grab and use. Rate 8.5/10.
I bought this game! A very fun vr game well worth the asking price. With roughly 10 hours in with plenty more to do, this game gives you hours of pleasure. The mini games are a fun break from the "job" aspect, and you also have a sandbox mode along with a "Zen" mode for each completed stage so you can play again without being "graded". Having different attachments and three sizes of diggers makes the game even more fun then just digging, you get to compact, drill, grasp objects, trim and cut. Plays well with the index controllers.

this is already my favourite vr game. i hope the dev sees this as i have a suggestion or two. id like to be able to see the progress of what im doing on the tablet. it just stays off other wise. also id like some sort of kettle in the main office area. a nice little funny interaction. this game has a lot of promise. cant wait to see whats in store for the future (: keep up the good work

It’s not a question of “Should I buy this game?” It’s a question of “When should I buy this game?” And the answer? Right. Freaking. Now. Click that buy button — it’s worth every cent they ask for. This game soothes my very specific brand of excavator-'tism. If you’re even looking at this game, odds are you’ve got the same flavor. The search for a proper VR excavator game ended on April 29th, 2025. Buy it. Now.
