Great game to play with your little kids! It's so much fun to build a park together!

This game is cool because dinosaurs are cool. I recommend this game. The management is kinda eh and i wish you could put water dinos in the same area as a land dino but they need their own enclosure. I just want to see mosasaurus eat indominus like in the movie. BUT REALLY THE DINOS LOOK SO GOOD ON THE MAX GRAPHICS WHEN IT IS RAINING AND THE FIGHTS ARE BADASS AND DILOPHOSAURUS IS MY FAVORITE DINOSAUR!

So the dinosaurs are amazing & great to look at. As a management game, I kind of hate it. It feels very much like following a simple recipe every time so it gets very repetitive, very fast and doesn't feel challenging. It feels like I spend most of my time wrangling vehicles to be in the right place. I am disappointed to be teased with capture missions and then not actually have to play out most of them, they just happen in the BG after some UI clicks.

Lovely game, can only hope the third one outdoes this one in fair DLC but as they've already gated two species behind preordering I'm slightly hestitant but otherwise We shouldnt have to pay for previously paid dinos from previous DLCs

While I do appreciate the attempt to "game-ify" the classic Planet Coaster/Zoo experience, I do feel that it loses a bit of its creative edge. Lots of micromanaging, strange dinosaur design choices, and subpar balancing. But the game is still just as beautiful as Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo, and it still has some of that classic tycoon experience. I would just get it on sale. 2.5/5

If you enjoy park simulator games and dinosaurs or grew up playing the original Jurassic Park Operation Genesis this game may be up your alley. The indoraptor and indominus rex are both in the game as well. There isn't any breeding but being able to have under water dinos and flying dinos is pretty awesome.

I dont usually leave reviews, but this game deserves it. I bought it during the Steam Summer sale for a cheap €3.- but even that it is not worth. Every single campaign mission I have been plagued by the bug that my ranger teams can't find their paths to different dinosaur enclosures. It doesnt matter if this is a regular enclosure or an aviary enclosure. The fact that this is one of the core features in this game, but is bugged out to this degree just ruins all immersion and fun to it. I dont even want to continue past the fourth campaign mission due to it. The fact that this game at its usual rate is €60,- is honestly insane. Even one person purchasing the game at that price should cover the costs of having someone bugfix this.

This is just a DLC for the original Evolution game. It's essentially the same game with some minor tweaks and new skins. If you liked the original and this one is one sale ($5 or less) then you might want to pick it up. Otherwise skip. You're not missing anything.

Jurassic World Evolution 2: Because Why Fix What You Can Just Reskin and Sell Again? Oh boy, where do I even begin? Jurassic World Evolution 2—the game that proves Frontier Developments took the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" mantra and twisted it into "If it's already mediocre, just slap a new coat of paint on it and call it a sequel!" Let’s be real, this game is basically JWE 1.5, but with the audacity to charge full price while dangling a few extra dinosaurs in front of us like we’re easily distracted compys. Sure, there are some improvements—better AI (sometimes), more dynamic weather (when it feels like it), and slightly more interesting park management (if you squint). But let’s not kid ourselves—this is the same game engine, the same recycled animations, and the same "Oh no, the dinosaurs escaped… again" routine we’ve seen since the first game. And now, with Jurassic World Evolution 3 looming on the horizon like an overpriced meteor, I can already predict the future: - Same clunky building mechanics (because placing paths will never be intuitive). - Same repetitive missions (yes, I love rescuing the same stranded ranger for the 50th time). - Same lack of deep park management (who needs meaningful guest needs when you can just spam gift shops?). But hey, here’s five new dinosaurs! (One of which is just a recolored version of an existing one, but shhh, it’s "new content.") Instead of releasing JWE3 as a glorified DLC masquerading as a full game, how about you actually expand this one? Give us: - Proper terrain tools (let me sculpt a mountain, you cowards). - Real aquatic & aviary park management (not just "place tank, add dinosaur, done"). - Dynamic ecosystems (predators that actually hunt instead of occasionally nibbling on goats). - Mod support (imagine the chaos if players could fix your game for you). But no—why innovate when you can just repackage the same experience, add a "3" to the title, and watch the cash roll in? It’s the Jurassic Park way: "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should." Final Verdict: Jurassic World Evolution 2 is fine… if you enjoy paying for the same game twice. But if JWE3 is just another reskin with a handful of new reptiles, then I’d rather get trampled by a disgruntled Ankylosaurus than buy into this lazy cycle again. Score: 6/10 (Would be a 4/10, but dinosaurs are still cool. For now.)

"3 dollars? ahh why not" 2 days later I've spent 8x that on DLC and am absolutely hooked. Having dreams about dinos and park management, planning enclosures throughout the day. I don't even particularly like dinosaurs and dislike management games, but this one hits differently. I sit down to play for 20 minutes and end up realzing an hour and a half has been blissfully pissed away. If the concept seems even vaguely interesting to you, give it a shot. The campaign is short, but fun and rewarding. Sandbox mode is incredible. Chaos theory mode seems rad. Seriously, best 3 bucks I've ever spent on steam

Granted, I have only played 5 hours but it's clear that this game suffers from long standing bugs, a dreadful UI where you have to many menus to click just to do something and you can't even drag decorations or have them snap - they just plop in place, then rotate at an angle that doesn't fit what you're trying to achieve. In game, my Rangers couldn't access the enclosure and it turns out it's a bug that was reported 4 years ago and to this day, the developer continues to point players to contact support, which is a joke. The worst UI I have seen, too many unnecessary steps just to upgrade thinks like a path or fence, and if you forget to go back to the clunky UI and turn OFF the upgrade option, you can't actually place anything! In 2025 how can a game just not detect a path is being upgraded? Other games manage it without 7 UI button presses. On top of that, the DLC adds little, just pointless skins and more samey dinosaurs but no real park updates of extensions for the guests to use. Base game for £3 is fine but avoid getting the DLC. Not even on sale, is it worth it. You can see why Planet coaster 2 was poorly received too made by the same developers. Removed JW 3 from my wishlist as a result You'll need the patience of a saint to play this and I will probably only play when I am ultra bored.

This game is awesome, i love it. BUT >.> it crashes randomly. I don't have a potato computer either, its a premium pc, and this game just finds a way to crash randomly so i need to constantly save every few minutes just so i dont lose progress. for this fact alone i cant recommend this game. Hopefully jurassic world 3 will be better.

I love the Jurassic World games ~ I recommend both 1 and 2 🖤🦖 The campaign on this one is a bit short, its basically just a tutorial and that's really the only disappointing part. However, I look forward to trying the other game types. Although I do love some of the quality of life upgrades, I think the 1st game may be my favorite so far.

The game is mostly fine. But there is one small quirk that makes it entirely unplayable for me. Anytime something is selected, it zooms in on it. Then the player must manually zoom back out go go back to playing or clicking on the next thing. And it's slow to zoom out, and doesn't zoom out far enough. The whole game is clicking on things to manage them. It's incredibly abrasive and I find it infuriating. There is a reddit thread from 7 years ago asking for this to be disabled. It has not been.

Well, here I am again. Jurassic World Evolution 2. This one is a big upgrade from the first (which I also got on a deep discount.) I always wait for the full release to come out - usually around the time the next one is due to be released in bare-bones condition again. The story is still abysmal and the character are still cringe - targeted at the new younger generation! So very shallow too - luckily the game is great. There is a sandbox mode - I recommend just going for that and don't put yourself through the hell of listening to this slop because you think it's like tutorial. Just figure it all out in sandbox - more fun that way anyway. Oh yea, I recommend this game for sandbox: PROS: 1. Massive Dinosaur Variety With all DLCs (e.g., Dominion Biosyn Expansion, Cretaceous packs, Malta Expansion), you get hundreds of dinos. Crazy amount. 2. Deep Park Management Improved AI, territory dynamics, and herd behaviour over the first game. i.e deeper: terrain, buildings, decorations. 3. Great Visuals & Audio Highly detailed dinosaur models and animations. Nice environments and weather effects - although so far can be more of an eye switcher at times - which adds to the fun...I guess? 5. Quality of Life Improvements Better building placement and pathing. Smarter staff and more efficient systems for transport, illness, and breakouts. CONS: 1. Shallow Storytelling Campaign mode is underwhelming and short, even with DLC. Characters are shallow, cringe, and everything is politically correct for 2020+ agendas 2. Expensive With All DLC The full experience requires purchasing multiple packs, making the cost a joke - buy on deep discount like I did. You get the full game for the correct price. 3. Limited Dino Interaction Dinos are great, but you can't really do much - you just watch them...can get old 4. Repetitive Gameplay Just play sandbox - don't bother with the other mode...they will make you want to go back to drinking just to get some dopamine - sucks it right out of you.

I've rarely played a game that is so frustrating. Want to spend 20 minutes whistling at a dinosaur that ignores you? This game might be for you. Want to spend 20 minutes staring at trees because you can't move on until you find a dinosaur that's camouflaged behind dozens of trees? This might be for you. Want your vehicles to be inexplicably stuck despite there being a path right in front of you? You guessed it, Jurassic World Evolution 2 is your game.

Build park, scary dinos, dinos get out, eat people, under paid scientists = bad research. Bad research in Jurassic World Evolution 2 leads to inbred and deficient dinos, Deficient inbred dinos leads to dinos with telekinetic powers, they don't make fences in the game that stop telekinesis. Lots of blood on my hands. Bankrupt! All in all a really good game, 10/10 would recommend!

I've always loved dinosaurs — probably because I grew up watching Jurassic Park on repeat. So when the chance came to get this game, I didn’t hesitate for a second. And honestly? I have zero regrets. The gameplay is incredibly satisfying and offers a great variety of modes — from the main campaign to Chaos Theory, and even the freedom to build your own park from the ground up. I really enjoy designing enclosures for my dinosaurs, taking care of them, and expanding my park. The graphics are good. I absolutely love the small details, especially seeing familiar characters from the Jurassic franchise make an appearance. All in all, I’m genuinely thrilled with this game. If you’re into simulation games like Planet Zoo, I definitely recommend giving this one a try :)

I think its totally worth the on sale price of 2.99 USD. It is kinda like a city tycoon type of game where you build your theme park. There are many different setting you can adjust in sandbox mode. The campain mode was a little short but it basically teaches you how to take care of each type of dino and prepares you for sandbox. 32 hrs in and ive completed 4 of the 5 campains and have spent at least 10 hours working on my first sandbox build and still havent come close to filling up the build area.

Love every detail in this sandbox game from how to manage the park, the people and the fun. It has ghastly atmosphere; the environment, terrifying carnivores and bunch of massive herbivores. I wish the first game was as cheap as this one, overall thank you for making such a great game. Sadly, the movies suck!

To be clear there is plenty of fun to be had with this game but the campaign is a complete let down. The whole game can be beat in just a few hours and is about 1/3 the length of its predecessor. Challenge mode also feels worse than before. The new features are nice but don't really add much to the game outside of sandbox. Probably worth getting on a mega sale if you really like the Jurassic park franchise, otherwise You can probably skip this one. I sincerely hope jwe3 improves on this games shortcomings especially the campaign.

Cannot express how much I love this game. The campaign is definitely shorter than I would have liked for it to be, but Chaos Mode adds so much more to do, and I've always been a big sand box fan anyways. Looking forward to JWE3!

this game is just a crappy reproduction of the first, between keeping up with dying dinos and gassing your generators theres just no way to get to 5 stars in chaos theory, your upgrades dont transfer from one region to another, meaning you get to spend exponential amounts of money and time researching shit you already researched. dinosaur compatibility is broken, i have one surviving pachy that just wont die, since i cant make more hes always lonely and always breaks out. clusterfuk of a game do not pay full price if you are in terrible need to get this crap. plus dlc's are completely and disgustingly overpriced. even when you complete campaign, sandbox mode does not start with any upgrades whatsoever, not very user friendly, having to press esc twice to get out of buildings is an annoyance, quality of game -5.... quite dissapointed

I bought this one long ago because its cheaper than the 1st game, well either way it is a solid Jurassic Park builder experience that adds all the concepts from the newer movies, like marine reptiles and flying reptiles, which i believe arent in the first one. i HIGHLY recommend this game, even without the DLC dinosaurs, and like i said, when it goes on sale its WAY cheaper than the first.

I have enjoyed playing the game, same as with Jurassic World Evolution 1, but the building mechanics and management options are poor. Buildings obstruct each other in ways that are unreasonable, and if you have a large park, the whole gameplay becomes flying out a dead dinosaur every 30 seconds. Overall, it is not really worth buying compared to the previous version of this franchise.

I highly recommend this game. Even if you aren't a huge Jurassic Park/World fan its a great world building game with enough about it to stop it getting stale quickly. Visually a beautiful game with simple to learn game mechanics that are relatively easy to master in little to no time at all. Has the benefit that even if played for short periods you can still feel like you've accomplished something.

Built a fancy park, feeling proud. Dinosaurs got cranky, turned it into a buffet. Now I'm broke and watching chaos unfold like a proud, bankrupt parent. This game is pure, beautiful chaos. Graphics are amazing, there are endless possibilities, and Chaos Theory mode? Oh, it lives up to the name. Don’t worry if you’re new — it’s super easy to pick up. Everything you need is just a click away, no brain-melting menus or confusing systems. 10/10 — watching dinos yeet jeeps around is comedy gold. Highly addictive, time disappears faster than my park’s safety rating."
