The game was a decent time killer but the latest EULA changes stopped me playing all together and lead me to not recommend this game or anything from the publisher. If you're upset as I am, I suggest other reviewers report the game with the report feature for whatever you feel they've done. I feel like Take two and 2k actions to be considered fraud because they've changed a well established EULA for when i previously bought this game before their acquisition of the games that are receiving backlash. The forcing of the New EULA in my view violates my rights as a consumer. I don't want to agree to the data collection that the New EULA promises but I'm forced to agree to it if i want to play the games I have had purchased for a while. This whole decision by the industry to keep killing games and killing the gamers has made me very nihilistic and pessimistic about the future of games. I'm aware that not a single soul asked for this review but I don't care similarly like the industry seems to not care about its consumer base only the profits.

I wish I had read the TOS myself, it's absoultely horrifiying: https://www.take2games.com/privacy/en-US/ Look under "Categories of Information Collected" : "The type of information we collect depends on how you use the Services. I love this game but the new EULA is beyond ridiculous, spyware with a game attached to it, what a world we live in.

It's like letting someone install a camera in your room, and they say: 'I won’t turn it on... I just want to leave it here.' Even if they don’t use it, the fact that it’s there is unsettling.

There used to be lots of reviews telling you to delete the video and audio clips so you can enjoy the game. It's true; the cutscenes and writing are SO atrocious that they actively make the game miserable. Now there are lots of negative reviews talking about the EULA. And despite those two things, I still feel the need to say that, even if those glaring issues did not exist... THIS GAME IS STILL NOT FUN! People talk about how good the gunplay is. I have no idea what in the game people consider special or good about it. You click on heads. In fact, I prefer Borderlands 2 combat to this. Sliding is totally whatever. Who cares. You click on heads. The playable characters have NO personality. You are NPCs in this video game world. There was a joy in the Borderlands 2 characters, especially when they used their action skills, or even when they speak in reaction to story events (which by the way, happen without interrupting your gameplay.) In this one, you're boring. You're a cardboard cutout. You're a wooden plank. The game rewards you with screens and screens of loot. Every third encounter will drop Yet Another Orange. I started to ignore them completely, because it didn't matter. They gave you so much that it actually diluted the enjoyment of a legendary drop. Good god. This game is bad.

I will include below the terrible over reaching dystopic spyware EULA/Terms Of Service Below, but that's not even why I'm giving this a game a thumbs down. By God, the dialogue in this is beyond atrocious, and this is from someone who generally can stomach crappy writing. I have NEVER in my life had to go out of my way to not only mute the characters so they don't speak, but also have to get rid of subtitles. I felt a cancer tumor form in my brain when characters spoke and the villain is atrocious and cringe inducing. They tried recreating that Handsome Jack magic by having the villain talk to you constantly through your radio and it's really effective at making me want to do the villian's job and just end it all myself. Not even the gunplay could keep me from trying to turn the barrel towards myself after the inevitable moment a character would open their mouth and exposite what some would call "dialogue" which if you ask me is more fitting to be labeled as a verbal lobotomy. If this game was judged on how quickly it could sap the will to carry on in this dark cruel world, it would get a 10/10, but unfortunately that's not the case so I'll have to give it a genuine 2/10. Now staple on the spyware EULA issue and this game is essentially less than worthless, it's harmful. Here's the TOS/EULA Important Info in Terms of Service: • Mods are a bannable offense • Display of Cheats/Exploits is bannable • Forced arbitration clause and a waiver of class action and jury trial rights for all users residing in the United States and any other territory other than Australia, Switzerland, The United Kingdom, or The Territories of The European Economic Area • You can be banned for using a VPN while connecting to online servers • Cannot access game content on a Virtual PC Collected Data Types: • Identifiers / Contact Information: Name, user name, gamertag, postal and email address, phone number, unique IDs, mobile device ID, platform ID, gaming service ID, advertising ID (IDFA, Android ID) and IP address • Protected Characteristics: Age and gender • Commercial Information: Purchase and usage history and preferences, including gameplay information • Billing Information: Payment information (credit / debit card information) and shipping address • Internet / Electronic Activity: Web / app browsing and gameplay information related to the Services; information about your online interaction(s) with the Services or our advertising; and details about the games and platforms you use and other information related to installed applications • Device and Usage Data: Device type, software and hardware details, language settings, browser type and version, operating system, and information about how users use and interact with the Services (e.g., content viewed, pages visited, clicks, scrolls) • Profile Inferences: Inferences made from your information and web activity to help create a personalized profile so we can identify goods and services that may be of interest • Audio / Visual Information: Account photos, images, and avatars, audio information via chat features and functionality, and gameplay recordings and video footage (such as when you participate in playtesting) • Sensitive Information: Precise location information (if you allow the Services to collect your location), account credentials (user name and password), and contents of communications via chat features and functionality. TL:DR- STAY AWAY

DO not buy ANY of the 2K games. Just sail the seas. Gearbox software is amazing developer, however... 2K Now puts spyware into your computer for that super profitable personal data. Read this before you buy: Important Info in Terms of Service: • Mods are a bannable offense • Display of Cheats/Exploits is bannable • Forced arbitration clause and a waiver of class action and jury trial rights for all users residing in the United States and any other territory other than Australia, Switzerland, The United Kingdom, or The Territories of The European Economic Area • You can be banned for using a VPN while connecting to online servers • Cannot access game content on a Virtual PC Collected Data Types: • Identifiers / Contact Information: Name, user name, gamertag, postal and email address, phone number, unique IDs, mobile device ID, platform ID, gaming service ID, advertising ID (IDFA, Android ID) and IP address • Protected Characteristics: Age and gender • Commercial Information: Purchase and usage history and preferences, including gameplay information • Billing Information: Payment information (credit / debit card information) and shipping address • Internet / Electronic Activity: Web / app browsing and gameplay information related to the Services; information about your online interaction(s) with the Services or our advertising; and details about the games and platforms you use and other information related to installed applications • Device and Usage Data: Device type, software and hardware details, language settings, browser type and version, operating system, and information about how users use and interact with the Services (e.g., content viewed, pages visited, clicks, scrolls) • Profile Inferences: Inferences made from your information and web activity to help create a personalized profile so we can identify goods and services that may be of interest • Audio / Visual Information: Account photos, images, and avatars, audio information via chat features and functionality, and gameplay recordings and video footage (such as when you participate in playtesting) • Sensitive Information: Precise location information (if you allow the Services to collect your location), account credentials (user name and password), and contents of communications via chat features and functionality.

This game is great. I had a wonderful 70 hours on it. Humor can be dry, graphics are nice. But as you have most probably read, its not worth it. According to the EULA, you don't reserve any right to back out nor sue, once you've signed it. the main problems being: (Important Info in Terms of Service: • Mods are a bannable offense • Display of Cheats/Exploits is bannable • Forced arbitration clause and a waiver of class action and jury trial rights for all users residing in the United States and any other territory other than Australia, Switzerland, The United Kingdom, or The Territories of The European Economic Area • You can be banned for using a VPN while connecting to online servers • Cannot access game content on a Virtual PC Collected Data Types: • Identifiers / Contact Information: Name, user name, gamertag, postal and email address, phone number, unique IDs, mobile device ID, platform ID, gaming service ID, advertising ID (IDFA, Android ID) and IP address • Protected Characteristics: Age and gender • Commercial Information: Purchase and usage history and preferences, including gameplay information • Billing Information: Payment information (credit / debit card information) and shipping address • Internet / Electronic Activity: Web / app browsing and gameplay information related to the Services; information about your online interaction(s) with the Services or our advertising; and details about the games and platforms you use and other information related to installed applications • Device and Usage Data: Device type, software and hardware details, language settings, browser type and version, operating system, and information about how users use and interact with the Services (e.g., content viewed, pages visited, clicks, scrolls) • Profile Inferences: Inferences made from your information and web activity to help create a personalized profile so we can identify goods and services that may be of interest • Audio / Visual Information: Account photos, images, and avatars, audio information via chat features and functionality, and gameplay recordings and video footage (such as when you participate in playtesting) • Sensitive Information: Precise location information (if you allow the Services to collect your location), account credentials (user name and password), and contents of communications via chat features and functionality.) Thank you steamuser kai for that btw Its not worth it. I hope and genuinely pray that they change it, because I was really hyped for BL4. Pls... save ur money and go buy yourself some icecream. Game-play mechanics are nice but the story is lackluster, I also hate Ava and you probably do too. The game does not have spyware btw, do your research if you don't believe me.

Emotes are hard-coded to arrow keys, so if you happen to want to use arrow keys for movement (as I have done for every shooter I've played in the last 25 years or so), then the game is simply unplayable without external tools. For a modern, high-profile PC game, this is unacceptable.

Let me start by saying I love Borderlands 2. Great characters, great writing, great story. Knowing Randy Pitchford's direction on Borderlands 3, I'd figure It'd wait. I( got this for free on Epic Game Store, didn't install it or play it. Then it went on sale here in Steam for 2.99. I figure I have a few friends that have it. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have had them reinstall it only to uninstall it a few hours later. This game was written by a High School student hopped up on Moly, Adderall, and a few cases of White Claw. I couldn't make it past the few hours of the horrendous dialog, which is a shame because the game play and the guns themselves seemed to be well designed. I needed a long nap, and several beers to deal with the massive headache I got, and I generally don't drink. I feel bad for the voice actors and the poor Q/A team that didn't get paid enough to deal with this garbage. After getting this game for free and only paying 2.99 on Steam for it again, I still feel ripped off. I'll never get the time back I used to download this ridiculously large game, and the few hours I put into it. I can't wait for the Borderlands 4 nonsense. Considering the launch price for that game, I have a feeling it's going to make a lot of people that unfortunately buy it, angry. Go play Borderlands 2. That game wasn't written by a child.

❌ Not Recommended I used to love Borderlands 3. The gameplay is solid, the gunplay satisfying, and the art style unique. But none of that matters anymore when I can't trust the company behind the game. Recently, Take-Two silently updated the Terms of Service to include vague and intrusive language regarding anti-cheat systems and data collection. It now implies they may install software with root-level access. That's not okay. No one asked for this. No one agreed to this when they purchased the game. Even worse, the lack of clear communication and transparency has completely shattered my trust. Gearbox's late and vague response did nothing to ease the concerns. I don't care how good the loot is. I don’t want to trade my privacy for it. If Take-Two wants to sneak in spyware-level permissions and call it "normal," then I can no longer support this franchise. 🚫 Until this is reversed, I strongly urge others to avoid Borderlands – no matter how cheap the sale is. Cons: Potential spyware Shady Terms of Service update Poor communication *Broken trust with longtime fans*

Updated the EULA to allow 2K to collect information on everything about you including passwords. Also added Forced arbitration clause, Which is jargon for "you are not allowed to sue us" I recommend to stay away from anything published by 2K games and affiliated if you value privacy

This game is good not as great as one or two in my opinion, normally id leave a decent review if i were to even review it... however, im tired of these companies thinking they can do whatever they want and lie about it... i enjoyed all the borderlands, played the heck out of em on xbox, but i wont play or buy any other borderlands, civ, gta, or any other games from them. if u want my data pay me for it! i shouldnt have to pay for a game to spy on me. this is complete nonsense. and i dont care what others say about google and everything else. this isnt google. this is a game i purchased, and had stolen from me because i dont agree with the new TOS. this is my computer not theirs to do what they want with it. The whole reason these companies r doing this now is because we have continuously and slowly let companies like this erode our rights to get to this point without saying anything about it. im just as guilty as the next person, but that ends now. I will never buy another game from them until the TOS are changed and the spying and selling of that data stops. Dont let them lie to u, because they are trying with their discussion response. their blanket statement for a one size fits all approach doesnt work here why ask for something ur supposedly not going to use? its because they plan to and not say anything else about it once u agree they will do whatever they want because u already agreed... the new TOS are not standard they are extremely aggressive, they want to normalize it so they can make more $$$ thats all its about. do urself a favor and look this one up dont just take my word or anyone else's for it. I know the little money i would spend doesnt matter to them, but when people talk, profits start to fall these companies will take notice. they wouldnt ask for all those permissions unless they r doing it or planned to... they want u to sign ur rights away, they are scam artists and thieves. Theft is theft and blackmail is blackmail, u taking a game away from me that i purchased because i dont agree with the new TOS to b spied on is stealing and blackmail. it should b illegal for a premium game to change TOS so radically after purchase and steal our games from us because we dont want to b spied on. i realize my stand doesnt mean much if anything, but my data is not free! there is absolutely no reason they need all that data. it doesnt help gameplay or keep out cheaters by being able to take away my purchased content, waving my rights, mandatory arbitration, knowing whats in my messages, on my browser, my real name, age, sex, passwords, other accounts, what i watch, when i take a potty break, or anything else. it doesnt help them keep the game safer by selling my data... their reasoning is a blatant lie, all that helps is their greed and their wallet! someone please explain to me what makes the game safer by selling that extensive list of my data?...

Story is stupid as hell, killed fan favorite characters. Tries to force players to like a character who is just not likable. This game is not even worth the sale price. They changed the TOS in a primarily single player game. Randy the CEO uses the "no true Scotsman" argument. Borderlands is dead like Saints Row.

this game would be so much better if it weren't for the absolute god awful writing. Borderlands 2 had the best story and writing us gamers could ever ask for. they killed off scooter, changed midgets to tinks cause people get so offended by anything now, and made everything utterly cringe. only good thing about this game is the mechanics.

So I'm actually enjoying the game so far but avoiding quest from characters I might find annoying. The negative view is because I keep getting hit with a quest intro that requires me to buy DLC, EVERY SINGLE TIME I WALK BUY. It feel like in game advertising because it is. Also good to remember Randy Pitchford had allegedly carried child pornography on a thumebrive that was discovered. Assaulted the voice actor of Clap Trap and screwed over most of the developers on their bonuses. Game is fun though, and for 2.50 a pretty good price. Just finished the main story, while a lot to love Ava and the Twins really bring down the entire game

Despite enjoying the fundamental gameplay so far after the 95% sale, and being 5 hours in, and obviously avoiding the horrendous over acted voice acting and garbage writing. The forced arbitration 2k has implemented is a big F U to users and is written in a way to grant themselves unlimited control over users in situations they deem against their EULA. As well as the ability to change their minds at any point as well as give users absolutely no legal leverage for any actions subject to their subjective scrutiny. I implore anyone who cares about their privacy and their rights to play a game however they want, (those who play remotely, or who use a VPN, or who wish to avoid bringing by using a simple save editor) to review their EULA and decide whether or not you want to put up with this shit for current and future 2k releases. As hypocritical as it is, I will continue using their product as I like. If they remove my access, it’s a $3 loss and at least it isn’t a $120 loss

In isolation this game isn't bad at all, but Isolation doesn't exist. It is almost an impossible task to follow up after the masterpiece that was Borderlands 2, and masterpieces don't have to be flawless, as the 2nd game had TONS of flaws but it had so much heart and love poured into it. This game has none of that. Basically ruined most of the characters and narrative for the sake of stupid cringe jokes to try and beat out the humor of the previous game. Claptrap is awful in this game, not to mention the replacement of the iconic David Edding's as the VA. He is no longer the funny but sweet and caring robot of the first game willing to fight to save his friends and pandora. Gearbox turned him into a moronic comic relief character with no redeeming qualities. Ava is probably the worst character in this history of the borderlands games, she is completely unlikable, extremely annoying, and the fact they kill of one of THE MOST likable characters for her??? Are you serious gearbox? and also make her a siren?? The same with Tannis? Why do the force her character into the spotlight trying to make you like her when she is just awful in this game, atleast in 1 and 2 she was more of a background character, but now she also gets to be a siren? She is awful in this game, and easily hateable. Nothing needs to be mentioned about the villains, they are cringe, annoying, and the whole influencer /vlogger identity just does not work. The whole story is just awful, the writing is even worse. It is like gearbox thew out everyone from BL2 and hired the writers of the Sharknado and The Marvels to compile the narrative. Where are the vaulthunters from BL2? Why is zero the only one in the main game? Why did they all decide to randomly ditch the crimson raiders after saving pandora...? The Fight for Sanctuary DLC for the 2nd game as a prequel to the 3rd game has a better antagonist, better writing , and better story than the entirety of the 3rd game. Sure the gunplay is good and a stepup from 2, and I actually really like the vaulthunters of 3. It just is not enough, it feels impossible to do multiple playthroughs of this game. Gearbox should be ashamed with the how they presented Borderlands 3, let's just hope 4 is better but with Randy in charge I doubt it will be.

kinda annoying villain, boring dialouge with one charcter making me leave for a bit because they wont stop saying "bloody" in an australian accent also having basically "spyware" and its kinda boring. charcters dont feel very fun compared to the 2nd game and its lost the aspects that make me think of borderlands

What a let down, especially after Borderlands 2. Devs took a different approach and it didn't work. Game is toooooo easy and when you complain about it fanatics say you need to finish the game first so you can unlock the difficult mod. Yeah geniuses, I don't have the patience to suffer through this slop just to unlock difficult mod. Difficulty is terrible because AI is a mass. All the enemies are like headless chickens. You can literally run towards enemies that are firing at you and not get hit once. During a boss fight I literally stand still next to the boss for about a minute and not get hit once. That was when I dropped the game. Sadly it looks like Borderlands 4 is going to be like this as well. I watched the game play release and it was just like Borderlands 3. They encountered a boss and one of the characters reacted by seeing "What the fuck is that". By the end of her sentence the boss already lost 1/3 of its health. Incomparable with the first boss of the Borderlands 2, the one that stolen the eye of the Claptrap. Level design is also terrible. Characters, bosses are not memorable. The base, omg the base is an absolute mess, a labyrinth of rooms and corridors that are not navigable. Shame what devs did to this series.

In all honesty, this game isn't all bad. The gunplay is great, it feels smooth, but it all feels pointless at the end of the day. Legendaries fall like rain and you can have a decent build going by just playing through the main story. There's no real reason to do side quests because the dialog just kinda sucks. The dlc however saves the game overall. The stories are much more pleasant, with Krieg's dlc being the best. Genuinely well done story through and through. The main content however truly ain't it. The Vault Hunters are pretty fun, they feel pretty unique and everyone can be broken in their own special way just like BL2. The only personality that really stands out to me though is FL4K. Hopefully they'll be a bit more fleshed out in BL4, but I'm holding onto my money until that goes on sale. Tyreen and Troy are the epitome of "How do you do fellow kids?" it gets irritating after 5 minutes, and damn near unbearable after a couple hours. Troy became a little interesting before we killed him I guess. Athenas was probably my favorite. Ava sucks but Maya was pretty well written. Sucks she was wasted to give the spotlight to that flea. Traunt came and went and didn't overstay his welcome. Def the highlight of the story. Promethea happened I guess. Rhys wasn't really what I expected him to be after opening a vault. A lot of his character felt like a regression. Zer0 was there at least :D. I like Jakobs, but the rest of the time on Eden-6 is a snoozer fr. Then there was the rest of it. Once you finish the main story and get to max level on a character, it lets you create another character that starts at level 80 in front of the final boss. Unless you wanna play TVHM, at least you're not required to do it more than once. (Says something) TVHM does make combat actually interesting and fairly challenging though, so it has it's merits. Mayhem mode can give you that challenge though, and is honestly nowadays a pretty good feature overall for whatever you're looking for. Interesting and sometimes annoying modifiers depending on how much challenge you want, and the option to turn them off and just have tankier enemies if you wanna. All optional. If you can get the game with all the dlc for a good deal I'd say go for it. It's been going on sale a lot. I come back from time to time to do a takedown or an arms race run but I'll never do another full playthrough. Can't recommend the base game, but as a package deal it's not terrible. Just gotta wade through the marsh to get to the good stuff underneath, that good stuff however usually comes with an additional paywall so this just ain't it chief. It's not a hard no, but I just can't get past how tough the main story is to get through sometimes, and how boring the overall gameplay loop is with how easy good loot is to find.
100% Achievement Review
I have 100% this game, and am writing this review to help others that may be thinking about it. Lets start off with Gearbox Current EULA, read all the other reviews. Its a violation of privacy on your own computer. I won't go into detail because everyone else already has. This game, is fantastic gameplay wise. A huge step up from borderlands 2, and I will probably be revisiting this if my friends buy it and it comes along for them to play it with me. The movement and gun play feel fantastic, the vault hunters stay true and are a breath of fresh air for the new borderlands envirorment, I love the Circles of slaughter, and the DLC's introduce weapons that I used throughout Mayhem 10. It will forever be cemented in my brain as probably the best borderlands gameplay standpoint, as a long time fan I will really remember this game for its quality of gameplay. The story, Eh. Its ok. I really enjoyed how they brought together all of the other games with different characters, such as the telltale series and characters from the past, but at some points in the story it feels like they were tying up loose ends with spaghetti strings, Ava seems like she was kinda thrown in there as a resort to be the next generation for the vault hunters, but was honestly just an annoying side character we had to deal with. I also miss scooter. Catch-a-ride my friend.
Typhon DeLeon also kinda came out of nowhere for me, and then it had the big reveal at the end about his kids, and it kinda took away the shock factor for it. If you collected all the logs, you kinda really saw it coming.
Price wise, what a freakin' money grabber. I mean seriously, 2 season passes both with uninteresting side content just to finish the achievements. At a point i was fed up with buying it from steam (Not only did gearbox NOT deserve my money) becasue the price was not worth the content that we got, and the reviews really showed that, So I started buying the keys from different websites. Not worth. But the arms race idea was really cool, i was actually really into that, but i wish they paired us up with people online, rather than us actually needing a party and having people also need the DLC. If they made it free, I would be playing it a lot due to how fun it actually was. Overall, Borderlands 3 is pretty ok. I give it the thumbs down due to the current Private Policy and TOS that TakeTwo has in place currently. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR THAT REASON Pick this game up when its on sale, its almost always on sale btw. Oh the pandoras box version is the one I would get, because it literally has everything borderlands related. Until Next time, Toodaloo!

2K wants to know every single bit of information that exists about you if you want to play their games now. Complete trash.

This game is either too easy or too hard. In easy and normal mode, we kind of kill everything in one shot. In Mahem; they kill us in one shot. They have 10,000 X Armour Baby, kind of boring. Honestly, the main story started and ended in the same spot. I feel like, why the heck do I collect all the vault keys? DLC stories are gross. Compared to Borderlands 2, this game is trash. BL2 is legendary. And one more thing: this game crashes and freezes sometimes, and NPCs get bugged; we have to quick restart to continue the mission. Exploring the map is fascinatingly smooth and shiny. Try it on sale; you can go for one play, I guess.

The characters are so unlikable that I'm unable to ignore it and just play the game. Also, spyware tier data collection.

Even though it's been years since it's release, the game still stutters like hell. You end up playing "predict where my cursor will be" more than you play Borderlands 3. I still got stuck multiple times due to an NPC breaking or the mission glitching out. You already know about the quality of the story from all other reviews, but one can argue that the story is subjective. What is objectively true is that this game is not polished, not optimized and quite frankly, not play tested. Don't buy it unless you are willing to fight against the game throughout the entire experience.

Pretty graphics aside, BL3 is lame. Story, enemies, other ''worlds''. Also Gearbox has put spyware inside it. Randy Pitchford is a hack.

Gameplay got sharper in Borderlands 3 - no question. But the vibe? The writing? They’re just not there anymore. There are a lot of questionable decisions and confusing endgame content, including Mayhem mode, which completely undermines the purpose of playing through True Vault Hunter Mode. I don’t understand why Mayhem mode unlocks in Normal Mode. I wish it only became available after finishing True Vault Hunter Mode, which would feel more natural. Unfortunately, these drawbacks make it hard to fully enjoy the game. While the gameplay is indeed dynamic and cool, with solid weapons and great sounds, there’s a lack of balance. The real differences between gun brands, like in previous games, are mostly gone, and legendary items drop way too often. Plus, grenade spamming makes combat too easy, which takes away from the challenge. Compared to Borderlands 2, the game feels poorly executed in many other areas. P.S. And I can’t get over how bad the map is - it’s probably the worst I’ve seen in a game like this.

I barely even played this game. Not a single interesting character, which has been a trend sincer Borderlands 2. Only the characters from the first one were really interesting. Ever since it'sb een more stupid humour, more cringe, more annoying mechanics (slag anyone ?), and less fun. But I would gibe it another go if Gearbox hadn't updated their end user licence agreement to stupid levels of unhinged. And yes, I can read legal. It's actually part of my job. By their EULA, anywhere it's legal to do so, you are forbidden to intent any lawsuit. Thankfully there are still civilized places in the world where this is illegal. By their EULA, modding is a bannable offense. Or rather, if you mod, it has to be with their tools and as authorized by them. And those mods belong to them. By their EULA, if you're a content creator, they can use anything you make about this game for whatever purpose they wish and you can't say jack shit about it. By their EULA, if you don't comply, they are allowed to reset your progress, your save, or lock you out of playing the game. This is akin to Ikea saying "we don't like the way you use our table" and then coming to your home and smashing it. And they specificaly state they can do it any time, at their own discretion. By their EULA, their "adverse action" may be automated. So you may be fucked by an AI who doesn't even properly read your own language or whatever. So long, Gearbox. You won't be missed. I'm uninstalling, I'm not buying anything for it ever again, and I'm giving those bastards the middle finger. I suppose Randy would say I'm not a real fan.

Great gameplay, almost everything from the previous game has been improved on significantly. Endgame is definitely the strongest aspect of this one, you only ever have to play through the campaign once, as maxing out a single character lets you create other ones already max level. Once you unlock Mayhem mode, there is no difference in difficulty whether youre playing on normal or TVHM Story itself is fine, though main antagonist's character design is trash, and a well-loved character is killed off for no reason. Has issues with frame drops, had to dig online to find a tweak that helps with the stuttering

The story is good, but these useless sidequests are so dumb, aswell the looting. I hope Borderlands 4 gets better! Overall 6/10 Points.
