It has been almost three years since this games release and I say this with as much respect as possible. Save your money, wait for this game to be on sale before you make any potential decision on buying it, I physically struggle to continue to play this game due to the piss poor attempts at optimising this game, I would argue the game has been literally abandoned as the performance despite me literally going from a 1050 TI to an AMD RX 6750 XT hasn't changed whatsoever, despite the very few attempts the developers had made concerning the games horrible performance on and after launch. I grew up on the destroy all humans franchise as a kid, I played the first and second, I enjoyed Crypto as a character, But I specifically enjoyed destroy all humans 2. So imagine my surprise that my favourite game in the series was getting its long overdue remaster with the original humor, story and everything intact. I jumped at the opportunity to pre-order the game, and I will admit that was my first mistake, pre-ordering games in 2022 and past is literally a gamble. And unfortunately, my expectations were not met, The first remaster ran buttery smooth and was practically flawless in performance even a 1050 TI Handled it at max settings 130+ frames. This game however, did not, Performance was an absolute joke, even on the lowest settings even to this day on my newer graphics card, yes, the game went from mission based to an open world mission based structure, but this doesn't excuse the absolutely abhorrent amount of game breaking bugs, soft locks, frame rate issues and intense stuttering that the game suffered from and STILL suffers from to this day. Players have to jump through metaphorical hoops to somewhat address the performance issues, but they are band-aids over issues that should have been addressed years ago. The game has a distinct lack of a volumetric fog setting, either that or it just straight up doesn't work, as in bay city, london, japan etc etc, you can literally see the out of bounds, low poly textures in the distance, which is extremely jarring and off putting. Whilst the original story was left in tact, most of the fights have seen changes, or visual uplifts, and turning the bosses into literal bullet sponges, which the first game did as well, but this one has significantly amped it up and in most instances feels like the bosses are literally cheating. There is more I would complain about, but it would be re-iterating already stated points by many a player. So I'll restate my original point. Only buy this game if and when it is on sale, do not buy it for full price.

I love this series to death, so I'm biased and break my standards sometimes when it comes to games like this. So, don't buy this game unless it's on sale. Or not at all. I have a really solid PC setup and it is still is not enough to run this game smoothly. Turning graphic settings to low literally doesn't matter. The game's optimization is that bad. Game is still good, but I can't recommend PC remasters if they don't even perform well for the average Joe. Go replay the original.

It's a pretty funny game overall, and Crypto is at least a little nicer compared to the first one. Most of the guns and saucer weapons feel kind of underpowered, though, so you might need to keep shooting to take things down. The performance however is quite bad, no idea why that is since other games made in UE don't seem to be nearly as demanding.

This game is good, but sometimes the bosses are just to hard, like this is my second day of trying to beat this thing of a boss and I am on easy mode,P.S some are really easy.
