Love this soundtrack, and was very excited to see that it was released! I only wish that there were also some loopable versions of the songs (without the fadeout), so I can have them go on forever while I'm coding and such. :) But great soundtrack.

I am so disappointed by this OST. I enjoy the music in Ember Knights. The tunes really set the mood and after hours of playing have never gotten old. Their best strength is how they set a vibe as you go, really helping you get into that twitch-gaming trance. That's what makes this OST such a waste. The average track length is probably under a minute and a half. What am I supposed to do with 75 seconds of a track? It's barely enough time to go "yeah, that sure is what that world's theme sounds like" before it's already fading out! The intro and fade only make it so you can't even loop it yourself. The tracks are too short to really enjoy listening to, and they sure as heck are useless as work music. I would love to put this on in the background while I write actions scenes in the stories I write as a hobby, but they're over before they can even set the mood. Seriously, does Valve charge by the megabyte or something? Ideally, I think this OST would be great if each track was the intro, 5 mins of the theme looping, then the fade. Give me time to vibe with it. Give it the length it needs to settle into our brains. I know a lot of people besides just myself who need energetic music without lyrics to listen to while they work. A soundtrack of extended themes I would recommend to all of them. As it is now, however, I can't recommend it to anybody.
