Pros: -Relaxing and satisfying gameplay -Great variety of levels -Awesome DLCs -Works pretty well with a controller too -Graphics have a nice artstyle -Different sets of tools to use -Career mode -Very easy to pick up and play -Has Co-Op -Crossplatform -Achievements -Trading Cards Cons: -No music -Sound effects aren't great (to be fair it's a bit foolish to expect anything great here in a powerwashing game) -Workshop support could be nice -VR version locked behind Meta Quest -Cleaning some spots can be tedious Other: -Game Genre: First Person Shooter/Simulation -Aspects: Easy To Pick Up, Sandbox, Casual, Relaxing -Difficulty: Very Easy -System Requirements: Medium -Game Is Family-Friendly: Yes -Steam Deck Compatibility: Great (set graphics to medium to medium high settings for constant 60 FPS. Will run below 60 in high or ultra graphics, otherwise runs perfectly) Overall Recommendation: Overwhelmingly Recommended TLDR: A relaxing cleaning time to be had here. Even though it could use a little bit more sprinkle, PowerWashing Simulator is a very satisfying and relaxing game that's one of the most "what a good idea" games in the past decade. Perfect game to play while watching videos or movies, too.

Such a chill and satisfying game. There’s something really calming about cleaning those places and things, it’s kind of like therapy. Some spots can definitely be a bit difficult to reach. Overall, it’s a super enjoyable experience and totally worth checking out.

Chill yet bizarre and sometimes unsettling game. Honestly one of my favorites. Perfect for popping on audiobooks, podcasts, or music, especially during lengthier jobs. I love and own all the DLC as well: high quality, elaborate locations and vehicles packed with plenty of references to the respective source materials.

Splish splash, washing it all in a flash. Definitely one of the top 3 simulators out there to ever be created. Plus who doesn't enjoy free DLCs, meaning more content for extra therapeutic sessions alone or with some friends.

I'm still going to try and complete this game, but Lord does it make me motion sick. I can't play it for more than an hour without feeling super tired and nauseous. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably really enjoy this game.

If you don't care about achievement-hunting, an alarming trend towards extortion in the gaming community, and greed, this is a satisfying and fun game. This game originally had no pay-walled achievements, but as the game dev's realized how lucrative it could be - they dove in head first. I won't lie, I bought the first couple of DLC packs because I enjoyed the game and their additions nulled my 100% achievement rating for the game. Fool me once, etcetera, etcetera. After the third DLC pack, I was done. I can't recommend this game to anyone who cares about integrity in the gaming community.

Great game, but motion sickness is a problem PowerWash Simulator is a really fun and satisfying game, but unfortunately, I experience severe motion sickness while playing it. I did some research and found that quite a few other players have reported the same issue. I don’t usually get motion sickness from games, so it’s frustrating that I can’t fully enjoy this one without feeling ill. I highly recommend trying the demo first to see how your body reacts before buying the full game. If you’ve also experienced motion sickness while playing, I’d love to hear what solutions have worked for you. I really want to play more, but right now, I physically can’t because of the motion sickness.

I spent an ungodly amount of time on this game and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I didn't think it would hold my attention for as long as it did, but the coziness of this game, and the humor kept me entertained throughout. The DLC was a neat addition, The War Hammer 40K and Spongebob were a little annoying because you can't use the best nozzle in the game in them, but I liked all the references and nods to all of the IPs in the DLCs. It's worth a purchase, maybe wait for a sale though! Can't wait for Power Washer Sim 2!!

Good idea, but bad game. Wasting most of your time looking for some tiny spots that you haven't washed. Makes you totally gone MAD hitting Tab key trying to find out where you have missed. This company should make this kind of game simple and stress-relieve but not making you more stressful. Besides, the objects in this game are WAY TOO DIRTY and make people sick. Why can't make items not that dirty? Ex. only tires need to be wash or only need to wash some walls but entire house.

PowerWash Simulator by FuturLab is an unexpectedly satisfying and soothing experience that turns the simple act of cleaning into a deeply rewarding gameplay loop. While the premise might seem mundane—using a power washer to clean everything from houses and playgrounds to ancient monuments and lunar landers—the game’s brilliance lies in how it transforms this repetitive task into something meditative, almost therapeutic. The core gameplay is refreshingly straightforward: you’re given a dirty object or environment and tasked with meticulously washing away grime, moss, rust, and mystery gunk using a variety of nozzles and attachments. There’s no timer pressuring you, no enemies trying to interrupt you—just you, the hum of high-pressure water, and the quiet joy of progress. Watching surfaces slowly return to their pristine states is immensely satisfying, and the game leans into that with gentle sound design, soft ambient music, and a minimalist UI that lets you focus entirely on the task at hand. As the game progresses, levels become more complex and creatively absurd—from cleaning a filthy fire station to pressure washing a haunted carousel. These imaginative scenarios keep things from getting stale, while still sticking to the satisfying core loop. The addition of story elements through in-game text messages adds a quirky layer of narrative that’s light and humorous, offering just enough world-building without breaking the game’s relaxed tone. Visually, PowerWash Simulator is clean and functional, with environments that are detailed enough to be engaging without overwhelming the player. The attention to grime—how it clings to surfaces and gradually disappears under your spray—is impressively realistic, which enhances the feeling of accomplishment. The game also offers co-op play, letting you and friends tackle massive cleanup jobs together, adding a fun social element to the otherwise solitary experience. In summary, PowerWash Simulator is a unique gem in the simulator genre, offering a low-stress, high-satisfaction experience that’s perfect for winding down. It doesn’t try to dazzle with spectacle—instead, it succeeds by embracing the joy of a simple task done well. Whether you're a completionist who wants to hit every speck of dirt or just need something calming to unwind with, PowerWash Simulator is a surprisingly compelling way to relax and feel productive at the same time. Rating: 9/10

This game is about cleaning various objects and locations with power washing tools. There is some light progression with your toolset, but nothing that drastically changes your gameplay. Really, you'll know if you like this game within the first five minutes. It's a vibe. Personally I very much enjoy it. It's fun to play by yourself and listen to music or a podcast, or you can also chat while you power wash with friends. It suits me well, so I'd recommend it.

Absolutely obsessed. I can easily kill days without even noticing. Have come back again and again to buy every DLC and will absolutely be buying the sequel!! Once you get that final triple nozzle, its game over, and everything becomes so satisfying and worth the frustration.

This is my go-to relaxation game. I absolutely love it! It's easy to just hop into a job and start cleaning. Progression through career mode is fun, and not too difficult, as to not break the flow of gameplay. The story you uncover throughout is kind of goofy but it fits the overall vibe of the game. I like the idea of the text messages you receive as you progress through jobs; they're worth reading when they pop up just for some extra entertainment.

Easy going fun for the most part. Sometimes it can be very annoying hunting down the last bit of dirt to clear a level. The system requirements for the game aren't too bad. It also has a lot of paid content and free content, including some rather recent free DLC. If you're an achievement hunter, you will have to get a lot of the paid DLCs. Unfortunately, there is no music in the game. Just the washer's sfx and ambient sounds. So, if you want music to listen to while spending a couple of hours on some maps, you will have to take care of that yourself. Personally, I put on a Lofi music channel in the background. You should be aware that using the sense button can be very eyesore inducing, especially at the start of a level. Just so you know. If you buy the bundle pack, which includes the paid DLC, you will still have to add most of the free DLC separately. Each paid DLC includes five new levels and sometimes you have a special skin while playing them.

This game is wholly soothing to me. The only way I play is with all the sound off and chill low-fi music playing. I've gotten more achievements in this than any other game I've played (well, other than Unpacking). Probably great for 420 vibing. The story is inane, but that's not why I play it anyway.

This game is like cocaine to me. PowerWash Simulator is the ultimate ADHD trap and I've been trapped in its clutches forever. Every ding and noise after cleaning a part of the objective brought a rush of dopamine that could never be replicated. Every waking moment was spent thinking about the next level that I wasn't playing, and I ignored sleep and food just to get back to finishing the level and moving onto the next one. My addiction to this game got to a point last year where I almost failed my classes and almost ruined my relationship in the process because of my obsession to keep playing this game. I am not joking when I say this easily sits in my top 3 games of all time, and I am super excited about the release of the second game later this year.

This game is fun and can be peaceful, but that is dependent on the person who plays it. For the, the best part is hearing the ding of me completing something and it is even better when I can set off multiple dings in a row.

50 hours to finish ONLY the story mode. Still have muckingham files to complete, what a joy. Certainly one of the best games I've ever played, and thats saying something. Praying the developers come out with another story mode. I loved this game and hope to see more. Somehow the developers, even with the type of story it has, never seems to go off the plot. Had a lot of fun, and even though it took me 50 hours, it actually had me playing off and on for several years. Amazing game.

A seriously good way to kill time with so many different levels that scratch that itch, and on top of that there are loads of free DLC. Expect to spend a lot of time on this title, and bring music/podcasts and audiobooks with you. One con about the game is that there are text messages that pop up every 20% of each map's completion that gets annoying and unfortunately you cannot disable this feature.

Having played this since early access, reset my save multiple times, did the Oxford test, and now replaying this with my wife on the xbox game pass just so I don't have to reset this account again, I have combined about 1k hours. This game was worth every penny and got me through many rough, anxious nights over the past many years. This is a really comfortable game to just sit back and relax while listening to whatever suits your fancy. Didn't realize at this point how many DLCs there are and the prices since I bought every DLC day 1 and completed every achievement when possible. The ultimate package is a great value. The different vehicles, buildings, locations, etc is such a good variety, there's something for pretty much any mood to help relax. Having co-op, it's fun while I'm working on half of the area, my wife is in the other. Our way of cleaning is completely opposite, but no matter what she does, it's still helping (sort of LOL). I clean, she likes making art and writing funny things on the wall lol. What I'm saying is, I love this game and highly recommend it. My one advice for any new player, the yellow nozzle is your best friend if you can't figure out what nozzle is good for what. :) Have fun and keep washing.

I have around 130h collectively on this game and all I can say is, if you don't like chill, repetitive games, you won't like it. It's all about ASMR cleaning, with great DLC, funny easter eggs, perfect for your daily Netflix series played on the second monitor. I love the game, definitely recommend.
