Waste of money. Very shallow, clunky slow combat, uninteresting repetitive maps, absolutely 0 balancing of survival mechanics, long loading screen times and you must endure them every time you leave or enter the train. Not to mention the fact that it seems like development has come to a complete halt. the list goes on but you get the idea. Feels like a soulless and lame mobile game. It's just not fun past the first 20 minutes. Wish i could get a refund. Even for EA this is terrible.

Welcome to loadscreen simulator between the same tile sets of random recources and enemys scattered around. limited inventory space is your best friend here and clunky building mechanic is your sidechick, unforgivable bad combat is also along for the ride as you jump from loading screen to loading screen to gather the stuff you need to upgrade your train and maybe feed yourself too. thats quite neglatable tho cause with the speed of death you dont really need food. I had high hopes for this. i bought also the support pack and gifted it to a friend too. sadly quite dissapointing. it does not feel smooth, it doesnt even feel decent to me. the building is bad and clunky. connecting to my friend is a pain and a slightly higher ping means a lot of lags, rubber banding and deaths. i will check back in when it has a full release and really hope for improvements cause i quite liked the idear. However i imagined i can hop on and of the train as i please. and not have it seperate "maps" wich also means everybody gotta jump of and on the train at the same time wich does not allow for some base working while others collect stuff. not that there is much to work on the train as it is

Freshly baked out the oven, so to speak, but in my opinion all but mixed. It's clear here's a long road ahead, however i think this road doesn't only look promising, but has a lot to show for itself already. Expect a work in progress. A so far very enjoyable, and for me personally very original work in progress. What does that mean? You'll encounter items that have no purpose yet, and hints of armors yet to be included. some Cave openings and guild NPCs standing at the ready, waiting for their purpose to be added soon. All that, though, feels more like a dream of an approaching future than an unfinished game, because while you wonder about what these things will do, you can already enjoy a very well crafted game that captures the dreadful foggy despair of lovecraftian athmospheres wonderfully, and deserves this tag rightfully. Following a story, that will sprinkle in well known lovecraftian characters like Herbert west in a surprisinlgy belonging way, this game, even if it only kept half of it's vision, is something i recommend to everyone looking for lovecraftian indie games, and who likes the idea of a mobile base (which i very much do). get it now if you wanna watch it grow, wait a little if you want the corners to be more rounded. I for one love it already as it is, as you can probably tell. since its far from finished, 7.5/10, but RailGods of Hysterra is definitely picking up speed toward 9 or even 10

The moment I saw the Railgod design, I knew it was a game for me. Its aesthetic got me from the start. The graphics are very good and I especially like the landscape designs. Resource collecting, building, crafting combines very well inside the upgradable moving living fortress. Sacrificing your enemies for fat rewards adds up nicely into the story. Personally I find the game design exquisite. For a cons I would point to the lack of pure mage class. Overall estimation 8.2 of 10. I took more than I paid for and it is a fresh breeze of novelty.
