Teardown

It’s one of those times I buy a game not really sure if I’ll like it. Then I get into it and go, “Ahhh… finally something I enjoy. Totally worth my money.” It’s such a nice surprise. Feels good to find a game that just clicks with me. Not overhyped, not fake, just fun and real.

This game is AWESOME!!! it's like real life, just pixelated life. of course never do any of this stuff in real life.

The whole point of the game is fighting with 60-second alarm clocks. You don’t have much in the way of destruction tools, and the ones you do get feel pretty limited and repetitive. The missions quickly turn into frustrating timer races instead of creative sandbox destruction. Overall, it’s more stressful than fun.

Best heist and distruction game, with god workshop

Really awesome 10/10. Treadmill go boom. Cars go crash. No more needed to say download this game. Does require a decent computer but still download it anyways.

9/10 The best destruction game there is. It is very fun, but to have fun without constant lag you need to have NASA computer. I have RTX 4080 and I am stuck at 30 fps in small maps, before touching/destroying anything.

Great game! Stopped playing when Saber bought it because they're shady as hell. I got a steam notification reminding me this game exists today and I checked out the store page. Season passes and special editions and extra special editions. Not to mention Saber's previous endeavors. Saber is not well liked, and for good reason. [h1]Correction[/h1] I've been informed Saber is no longer involved, I was wrong to harp so heavily on Saber's part in the game, but I'm still not very happy with recent changes, so for now my review is still negative. game got pretty trash after the acquisition... sad to see an actually technically impressive game go this way.

This game gives you a clear idea of how much the gaming world can evolve, The destruction physics in this game is total bliss I recommend this game to anyone who loves destruction physics games! The only thing I dislike about the game Is that when destroying a building it..kinda floats in the air.

An amazing sandbox game that lets you destroy truly everything. And the Steam Workshop features a ton of great maps, vehicles, tools etc. 10/10 recommended

Crashes alot, won't reccomend. Cant even get into the campain, credits or caracter.

Fun game, but I had to switch to a 1.4 beta build version because it wouldn't launch normally. Fix your game. There are a lot of people that can't launch it. I tried about every method to try to fix it, then I just switched versions. Seriously, this issue shouldn't be happening.

This game sold itself a gratuitous smash fest. The first level sets that expectation and delivers. Every other level is a sneaky sneak, Oceans 11 heist. Sure, you COULD blow stuff up and light things on fire. That'll work against you though in most cases. And should the collectable be tethered to a little red wire (it will be); lord have mercy on you if you should so much as look at it funny. Re-watching the trailer cemented it for me, they really try to drive the destructive aspect of things, brag about the physics sim and kind of gloss over the fact you can't actually have FUN with blowing shit up if you want progression. If you came here for destruction, hope you like the sandbox mode...

Wanted a game a bout tearing down buildings, got as thief simulator instead....

The missions are so boring and tedious I cant even force myself to complete them to unlock the other maps, atleast there's mods, i guess.

If you like voxel destruction physics then this game is fun. Especially with mods, I recommend the everything revolver. Also, in most games that have sandbox and campaign mode, the campaign isn't that fun, but the campaign in this game is great. You get to do heists and there's a time limit and the opps will come

Amazing game but completely ruined by Saber. Also 44 dollars is way over priced.

Funny enough, when this game was first announced, I had zero interest. But over time, I kept hearing about it from friends who were hyped, so it stuck in my mind. A few years later, I saw it on sale with co-op multiplayer support and decided to give it a shot. To be honest, the multiplayer experience was a big letdown — definitely not worth it. But here's the twist: I’m someone who never plays singleplayer games... and I ended up completely hooked. I don’t regret buying it at all. While the game may seem intense or stressful at first glance, it’s actually the opposite. You have unlimited time to prepare, and you can retry missions as many times as you like. That feeling when you finally complete a complex mission perfectly, hit all the objectives, record the run, and layer your own music over it — it’s just phenomenal. Highly recommended. One of the best singleplayer experiences out there. Skip the multiplayer, but absolutely play it for the solo content.

It's just straight up.... fun. I like installing some mods like maps or tools/weapons and going into non-mod maps And doing uhm whatever like destroying and roleplaying or destroying or roleplaying. I have also completed the campaign a few times(like twice).

The ability to recreate 9/11 in this game is phenomenal I love blowing up hospitals full of kids 10/10

This game actually just killed my laptop. It wasn't even like a shitty laptop, it ran the game fine. The game just randomly froze my entire OS, i restarted it and now my laptop doesn't boot. 10/10

This game is a master piece When I bought teardown I instantly fell in love with the games voxel art, physics, and things to do in this game there are always more fun things to do this includes but is not limited to Heists, super fun and strategical one of the main things you do in teardown Hunted, Getting shot by an armed helicopter simulator while attempting key word attempting to get chests Destruction, You destroy stuff not that complicated its simple and fun also this game has a work shop filled with stuff so check that out too also this game is getting multiplayer which may come out wen you are reading this too Overall great game amazing style, mechanics, and gameplay, amazing variety too 10/10

As everything is mod based and the base game is fantastic, the experience is unltimited fun, as far as your imagination (and hardware) can take it. My comfort game when I want to blow up stuff

this is one of the greatest games i have ever played even though it can get really laggy at times and loading can take a while it is all worth it because the destruction is perfection, 5 out of 5 stars.

Fresh idea, good technical implementation, no artificial limits - just fun to fool around.

Having Godzilla tear down a office building while you're inside is pure nightmare fuel, and I LOVE IT! great game for passing time, curing boredom, or just simply taking anger out it's a jack of all trades! 10/10 for me

ngl i hate the heist missions which seem like most of the campaign but its a fun game apart from that. 3/5 stars

Can I send this to the Owner? The game is AMAZING! But the character player models ruined the game... My game can't run, I bought the game before the player model update and the update makes the game unable to run... Please fix this... I spent over 20 pounds for this.

i love this game but all the sudden a few weeks ago when i try to play the game it says "launching" with the blue steam play icon and then all the sudden it stops and i cant play it but regardless i love this game its sooo good and i recommend it

its a fun game and id give it 9/10 stars cause there isnt any multiplayer but the modding makes it so FUN! if your wanting to buy it but your scared you wont like it dont worry cause the game can be modded so much and you can mod it to be like other games for example you could download a minecraft sword mod and have a minecraft sword! its very fun and ive said that a lot but i mean it. also teardown was my first pc game ever.

The fun to be had in this game is nearing endless. The modding community is devoted beyond belief and workshop integration makes it easy as can be. The devs made the perfect engine for chaos and then released it into the wild.

Absolutely peak. If you get mods its made better but it's still VERY fun without mods.

This game i've enjoyed pretty well. Going around and destroying things is always a blast and the story part of the game adds some purpose to your Destruction. Overall the story is pretty bare-bones and is almost just a check list or a bunch of challanges to complete. Most are alright but a couple are acuttly quite fun. I wish this game used its sandbox fetures more for the story. Like the missions feel like simple stratigies are all thats required.

Spectacular game in general, with many of the mechanics being fairly well refined enough for play-ability. However, if you have an older computer then this game will have to be ran on lower graphics due to the performance heavy aspects of the voxels and intricate little bits and pieces that arise from destroying structures. The main missions themselves are very enjoyable, and even moreso with the creativity of the community making a bunch of custom maps. TLDR; Good game, but performance heavy for some people.

It feels like a mix of Garry's Mod and Minecraft with it's own thing going on too. The vehicle physics in this game are very fun and realistic, which isn't even the main focus. The steam workshop support also really helps too if the base game gets boring eventually.

Its so fun and I cant stop playing! I fully recommend buying this game because its worth it! the only thing is you cant play on a normal laptop because the first time I did it didnt work so you just need a gaming laptop but it will be laggy so i recommend a PC

if you play the story mode over downloading 500 mods and destroying everything in free play then youre an actual loser

This inst a demolition game as you would expect by the description, images and game-play. this is a pseudo speed-running heist game. I'm really disappointed with this game, i was hoping for a viscera cleanup detail, or a power-wash type game. maybe one day they will make a demolition campaign similar to the first few levels, but if not dont buy.
