I went into Atlas Fallen not really knowing what to expect, but I came out of it really impressed. It’s not perfect, but it’s one of those games that quietly grows on you the more you play. Combat is where things get flashy. You build up momentum as you fight, and your weapons shift and grow into these massive, wild forms. It’s like you’re wielding something alive. The game rewards timing and movement over button mashing, so it keeps you thinking and reacting. The story isn’t anything groundbreaking, but it does its job. There’s a mysterious past to uncover, gods to deal with, and people trying to survive in a harsh world. What stood out to me were the little character moments and how the game gives you a companion that actually has personality and adds to the plot. It’s not a huge AAA blockbuster and it doesn’t try to be. There are some rough edges, dialogue can feel a bit stiff and the world can seem empty at times, but it makes up for it with heart, unique movement, and creativity in combat.

Not good. Not bad. VERY mid. And I wish there was a review option to show that. If you can grab this game on sale and have a friend that's interested, as well, it may be worth it. The controls, particularly in combat, are very floaty and not responsive. There were many times where the camera would go into an enemy and we'd not be able to see what was going on. Traveling around the maps outside of combat was fine enough and maybe the highlight of the game overall. Though even it was clunky, particularly the sprinting (sand dashing) would often get stuck "on" and we wouldn't be able to stop to interact with an object. The story was interesting enough to start, but my friend and I got over it halfway through and skipped through it. By the time we got to the last zone we were just rushing to objectives to get it all done. There is a new game plus option, but my friend and I had enough by the time we beat the last boss that we uninstalled it right away. Not because it was terrible, but just because we were done by that time and had no interest in playing it anymore... even to 100% it. The majority of the items you get to upgrade your character feel either worthless or otherwise unnecessary. Armor upgrades didn't really feel overly impactful. TL;DR: If you have a friend that seems remotely interested in it, as well... and its on sale... it's worth a play. Just expect a very middling experience.

Underrated game! I've found this game after found out my PC cannot run the latest MonHun game and to my surprise, it doesn't disappoint! While
the story itself didn't really interesting IMO (because it's not long and deep enough)
, the battle was fun and simple, the open world was great, the concept was cool. I think it can be explore more as a game, but for it's price, I think it's good enough. Overall I really enjoyed this game!

Great game and absolutely underrated (bought this before Expedition 33 so don't compare to that) - but this game is a great Co-Op game. Definitely better for the skilled gamers even on normal difficulty but over time you can build some great classes and load outs. Fights are dynamic and challenging even in late game. Was recommended this game by other friends and we did not regret it; it has a monster hunter vibe where you hunt creatures but all the other aspects are original.

I enjoyed the story of this game a lot. It also had very fun game play. I did see a few bugs here and there and a couple crashes. I also struggled with a lot of the parkour aspects of the game, especially when the camera changed when I accidentally entered combat. Despite the bugs and sometimes annoying parkour I enjoyed my play through.

8.7 / 10. Good game to play when you like story, adventure, and rogue-like but easy to play

8/10 Surprisingly good with the most recent update. Good movement, smooth combat, challenging at higher difficulties. The game isn't super long but there's lots of fun to be had fighting random encounters and traversing the world.

100 % completed here 48,3 hours played. First of all, it's very unfair it only received metascore 62? What? Games like Diablo 4 got 86 and is a quite bad game from a huge company? Players give D4 2,5/25 metascore? Conglomerate indie racists in metascore or? "Repetitive" as an argument? All games are repetitive? I never played a game that wasn't repetitve? Especially ARPG's, or any game with skill uses, even FPS games are repetitive? Bang bang bang, aim for head etc. Especially a game like D4 is repetitive? Gosh. In most games you find yourself using like 2-3 skills most of the time, in fact I found myself using more skills in Atlas Fallen than in many other games. Music is great. Fitting every scene I have been in so far. Voicing is great. Yes, I really mean it, sadly they used several different for the same characters or? Nyaals voice changes at times? Or did they change the voice or? The armor perk upgrade(skill system) is strange but it's working, it's new so nothing negative there. First I was like what is this system, but it's working fine. Graphics are quite great. Not insane, neither bad. My PC isn't the best either. Story is pretty great too, no clue why people would say other, probably due to Thelos followers and enslavers(rich capitalists etc. xD), the game is quite socialistic in terms of unnamed versus enslavers – surely always a theme that our rich masters do not like. Probably why they are so negative about this game. Combat is okay, my only concern is the parry thing, some monsters indicate red but delays their attack, some doesn't show the "very red" arrow either but just charges etc. such things has to work, I mean, if you play this game on hardest etc. There are several monsters, momentum drainers, chargers, and the big guys in one fight at the same time. Parry and their "red arrow" has to work perfect, also, it's a bit mean you cannot dodge and parry at the same time? How come? Monsters/wraiths are pretty cool designed imo, and the dev's added bestiary – I like when games add it so I can see the monsters. Animations are pretty cool designed etc. Big applauds to those who made animations! 10/10 from me. Our character(me) is awesome, sand skating, jumping, combat etc. Same goes to armor team btw. It can be discussed if you should had gotten the crush hand ealier so you could had gotten all the chests etc. instead of going back and check it all again etc. There are quite a few bugs sadly. Nyaal says the same stuff, even after you been there, upgraded items etc. The armor section, dyeing etc. is major bugged(PC). And sadly there is no reason to continue in new game plus? Even though the developers added lots of cool armor etc. That's too bad imo. Conclusion: I give it 8,2/10, 82 metascore. Had they fixed the bugs, parry thing etc. I would give it around 8,5(PC). Had there been some more armor/dyening customizations, more elite foes etc. The game could had been 90, serious potential in the game imo. I played "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning", this game reminds me of it. I love games like these.
