Before I begin this review I've played other big name games, ranging in ratings that is. Such as The Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, Batman Arkham City, Portal 2, etc. Never have I played a game so human though as The Last Of Us. When the game first released I was too young to play, and it really felt bad having to wait to play. 6 years later here I am, got it for the PS4 and started playing. Was I ready for the emotional rollercoaster of the first 20 minutes? Nope. Was I ready for how absolutely mind blowing the game would be after that? Nope. Will I ever forget my experience with this game? Not for a second. This game really takes it home for me when it comes to big name games (listed up top). The characters are human and you can feel their every emotion, the story is so captivating and great pacing. The score by Gustavo Santaolalla is very suiting for this game. Everything about this game just lines up perfect. This game may just be the definition of masterpiece, not just in gaming, but period. A must play to any human ever!

This is where the recipe for modern high budget games come from. The step up from previous story-heavy games to this is like night and day, the game is just miles above anything from its time. Instead of the more classic video game directing of essentially only using shot/reverse shot combined with metronome-like pacing in dialogue, this is a much more cinematic experience with realistic rhythm in conversations. Honestly it's not even comparable to that what came before. It's not just how it's directed and acted though, the story really is fantastic. I think at the time of the game's release, although it was critically acclaimed, it might've still been underrated as the zombie fad of the time had grown tiresome by 2013. The final act, which I won't spoil even after 12 years so don't worry, is a perfect example of this. It is an amazing example of how to do a twist ending properly. It's something no one can see coming, yet it's not the cheesy bs you, or I at least, associate with twist endings, such as "and they were already dead" or whatever. In the last decade we've seen many well written, acted, and directed games that are universally loved, and this right here is what we have to thank for that, and even now it stands up amongst them as one of the all-time greats

The Last of Us is a story rich game in which you go on an adventure of a lifetime. Filled with emotional moments, beautiful scenery, unforgettable characters, touching music, and realistic interactions. Including clever dialouge here and there. The combats could either go smoothly or get under your skin, unless Ellie's puns get to you first. The enemies varies from humans to infected, and you can deal with them in several ways. Depending on which difficulty level you play on, ammo is generally easy to find, as well as items scattered around for you to collect to modify your weapons. On a personal note: I played this game years ago on PS4, and had to buy it again here on Steam, as this is one of my favorite games of all time. I cannot begin to express how much this game means to me, and playing it again after all these years felt just as fresh as the first time.

The game worked perfectly when I first purchased in 2023, but months after having abstained from playing it, I decide to finally play Ellie's origin chapter, but shockingly when I tried to launch the game, nothing would happen; not even a single error message. I tried every solution available to fix it and keeping an open mind about the problem. But after having tried literally everything. Nothing seemed to fix this issue. I am still unable to play this game a full 2 years later. Thank you Sony.

First time ever playing this and it was absolutely fantastic. Both the main game and the included Left Behind DLC were captivating start to finish. The writing for Joel and Ellie made me feel for the characters and the overall story in ways very few games do. Easily one of the best story-driven games I’ve ever played - highly recommended. P.S. it ran very well for me, just be prepared to wait a while for the shaders to compile at the start.

Review – The Last of Us 215 Hours Played | 100+ Photos Captured | Infinite Memories This is not just a review. This is a confession. A reflection. A love letter to a world that wrecked me — and gave me something to believe in. 215 hours. That’s how long I walked through the ashes of cities, through forests soaked in silence, through darkness lit only by the trembling hands of two souls trying to survive — and sometimes, just trying to feel something again. The Last of Us is not a game. It’s grief in motion. It’s love clawing its way through blood and fire. It’s every quiet second before a door opens, and every violent heartbeat after. There were moments I forgot I was playing. I was there — breathing with Joel, bleeding with Ellie, aching with every impossible choice. And still, I found beauty in the ruin. Over 100 photos in my gallery, each one a frame of sorrow, light, or fleeting peace. Sunlight piercing through broken windows. A smile stolen in a dead world. A shadow that told a better story than any line of dialogue. This game is cinema without a screen. It’s poetry written in footsteps and gunshots. It’s romance in the form of loyalty — painful, bitter, but real. The horror isn’t just the infected — it’s the silence after loss. The action isn’t just shooting — it’s surviving without losing yourself. The drama is in every scar. Every sigh. Every “I’m sorry” that comes too late. And the love… the love is what breaks you the most, because it never really dies. I didn’t just play The Last of Us. I lived it. And part of me never left. You can read other reviews — but this is mine. This is how I remember it. Not as a game, but as a world that welcomed me with broken arms and said: "Hold on. Even if it hurts." This is the most human game I’ve ever experienced. And maybe, in the end, that’s all we’re really looking for.

if a man doesnt cry a single time through the whole experience of this masterpiece - such man doesnt have a single drop of the soul lol. the legendary game. 10/10. just plain perfect with everything. just used to have some performance and crashing issues at the time of the vanilla release day, but now its patched and fixed till the point that it does have only some minor bugs here and there. 10/10 and if there is anyone who actually never played this game but likes to play video games - this one IS A MUST. and its criminal that they put such good sale discount for such game like this, bought it with 50 perc discount. its totally worthy of its full price. EDIT: okay there is one issue - i see no point of manual save option of this game. why does it even exist if for example after 10min of thorough looting the whole damn area and saving, to accidentally run into a booby trap and explode (which i had a feeling that eventually sooner or later will happen so thats why i was manually saving pretty often) and having to do the whole looting thing again? manual saves doesnt work properly and it always feels like loading the last autosave checkpoint instead. I guess at least this type of manual saving still helps for future achievement accomplishment and in case autosave got corrupted. In 12 hours of my gameplay the game crashed only once and it happened in Suburbs - Suburbs level, in the end of the sniper rifle mission. It was annoying because it was close to the end of that part but it seems that the devs knew about this issue because the checkpoint automatically saved 1 min before the crash or so, so i didnt have to do the whole mission again. And considering how bad it used to crash back in the days this is okay and acceptable. Crash error that i was given seemed like that part of the game haves memory leak issue. There used to be another old well known issue of stupidity of companions' AI - how they react to danger and enemy that is. In the old original version the companions just used to run around shouting without hiding most of the times when I had to fight the enemy which can sometimes kill the immersion but sometimes can be funny too. Im not so sure about this, but nowadays it feels like they fixed for AI to be smarter about that compared to the older version of the game. Well, this is a reminder that the original game (for playstation 3 in 2013-2014) is old, so it only makes sense for AI not to be perfect for the old version, but i think this one is a PC port from a REMAKE version of Playstation 5 (2022-2023). So i guess they actually really improved AI with the remake, thank god.

One of my most favorite and beloved games!! The Last of Us is storytelling at its best—no fluff, no excess. Just a raw, beautifully crafted narrative. The world is harsh, the stakes are real, and the characters feel lived-in. Joel and Ellie don’t just carry the story—they are the story. It’s not trying to impress you with spectacle. It just tells the truth, and that’s what makes it unforgettable! Hope you love it as well!! :D

Played for 1 hour. Experienced ridiculous FPS drops and stutters. After some research and basic troubleshooting, I requested a refund. The game should run properly from the beginning. It's not acceptable to go through a 10-step verification process just to find the root cause of the stuttering. Good luck to others, I guess.

One of the best games in its generation. Had the Platinum Trophy on PSN in the Remaster version, but I just wanted to try out the remake. Don't know why they made it so easy now to get all achievements. On the original game and in the remaster version you needed to beat the game in the hardest difficulty and that is gone in this version. The game is just as fine as the previous version, but I don't think this game really needed a remake, since the remaster still holds up well. I guess this is Naughty Dog's way to milk out this franchise in every way they possibly can since the second installment didn't sell out as good as the first. In my humble opinion, this story didn't need a second part. I made a mistake on PS getting Part II, but won't make that mistake here on Steam and you shouldn't either.

The game itself is an absolute masterpiece, there is no doubt about it but this PC port is just one of the worst ports I have ever seen. I've seen the reviews about the PC port but I thought that it cannot be that bad to play but at this point I couldn't play more than 2 hours because there are lots of FPS drops, crashes and etc. I played the game when it was released on PS3 and I just fell in love with the game at that time but right now if you want to play it on PC, I certainly recommend you to wait or play it on playstation.

Played this game back when it first came out and after recently beating the 2nd part I wanted to replay the first one for nostalgic reasons. Unfortunately the game loves to crash after playing from anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour and it gets very frustrating having to reload the game every time.

There comes a point in which not only you have to consider a videogame art, but you also have to explain why it is Art, so hopefully we can step towards the next level and overcome debates. Two things make this game unique and I will try to intertwine both of them, explain them separately but show how they are linked and give the result that we all know: The Last of Us is a classic and a masterpiece. So much so that even attempts at telling the same story have failed. And I am referring obviously but I won't say too much about it although I hope to reveal why the game is far superior to what was supposed to be a "superior" media of storytelling. Environment & Emotions These are the two things I want to focus on in this review. Many other aspects are at work and I seriously want to recommend the documentaries that come along with the Enhanced version and nobody seem to talk about. They are exquisite and show how much effort has been put in place. Don't miss them after finishing the game.
Environment
Many post-apocalyptic culture products have been created, but The Last of Us shines spectacularly for showing what would be the world without us. So often you discover immense beauty even in hidden places, to the point of stay hooked even in dark and dangerous places. The game is incredibly scary and incredibly beautiful at the same time. Know that this has been done very much intentionally. So not only you are experiencing a would-be world 20 years without our 'civilization', but also how well would it cope without us. There is decay and there is blooming at the same time. Sadness and new viewpoints in forms of collectables or even views. The whole game is a journey, and it really feels like it. During that journey it raises questions such as: Do Nature really need us, or is it better off without us? Nature as an unstoppable and retaking force is present even in the cordyceps, or the "zombies" which are not precisely that, but more just another part of that nature that retakes cities and villages and create marvellous ruins. The Environment Art team have done something seriously unique. One of a kind work of art. Get into the game expecting to be impressed and moved, because you will be. You will be amazed by wonder and left to wonder.
Emotions
The game is also an emotional journey apart from a spatial one. The developers wanted to consider this videogame a vehicle to convey emotions valuable at the same level as a book would do, or a movie or a tv show. It is a serious attempt to raise the level of storytelling in gaming from childhood to adulthood. It goes without saying they came out triumphant. The emotional journey takes you on reflections of the very nature of hope, as a coping mechanism or something to hold on to. As a lie... and good or bad as lies are, if they are. Playing the game will raise questions on yourself that will accompany you for a very very long time. The journey will lead to a question: Are we worth saving? Don't expect an easy answer after playing The Last of Us It is very satisfying when a cultural product treats you as an adult. Get inside the game with that attitude and you will not forget the experience. These two aspects of the game, Environment and Emotions, are not developed in the TV show properly. That is why many reviews regarding the latter tend to use the word "rushed". These two building blocks were affected by TV-show policies that have proven to be very harmful to the industry of entertainment and to the act of storytelling itself. So, if you are reading this and you have watched the show or not, I wanted to tell you this. If you have, you have only experienced the story in its bare bones. Play the game nonetheless, immerse yourself in the emotional journey of the characters and enjoy the small details that create this amazing cultural product that we must call Art. Immerse yourself in delight in a created world that talks very much about the world out there. Expect fear, and more than that, expect to feel emotions tearing you apart. Because on an emotional level this game achieves peaks. If you haven't watched the TV-show: Just avoid reading anything else. Stop reading reviews. Avoid articles and threads on Reddit. Do yourself a favour and grab this book and fall into it. You haven't experienced anything like this before.

I played The Last of Us Part I Remastered after first trying it on my PS3 way back when it came out. But honestly, over the years, I forgot most of the story, guess I was too young to really get it at the time. Coming back now felt like finding an old, beautiful, and kinda painful secret all over again. I binged the whole thing in just two days, playing from morning till night while it poured rain nonstop outside. The weather totally matched the vibe, making everything feel even heavier. And right when the final scene ended, the rain just stopped like the world was holding its breath with me. No joke, it was kinda perfect. The stealth in this game is low-key but intense. Every step and sound counts, so you’re basically a ninja who’s constantly worried about breaking a twig or coughing. Managing your ammo and sneaking through dangerous spots keeps you on your toes and it’s honestly pretty thrilling. Joel and Ellie’s journey hits all the feels, with silence, sorrow, but also some real tender moments that stick with you. The characters feel so real, like you could almost bump into them on the street, though hopefully not during a zombie apocalypse. Naughty Dog really nailed it with the story and gameplay combo, making it smart, emotional, and totally gripping. And the most heartbreaking part? Knowing that once you’ve seen this story, you can never get that mind-blowing first experience back again.

It's the 12th anniversary, and I realized I hadn't reviewed Part 1 until now. Truth be told, I had a great time with it and really enjoyed my playthrough. Sadly, I cannot in good conscience give this a thumbs up due to the fact Part 2 exists and butchered the narrative in a million ways. :/

Great game, and playing on PC with updated graphics is even better. Looks beautiful, runs really well on high end PC (but for some reason I am still getting random crashes even with good performance). You might need to get used to the gameplay-- it is sort of a survival scavenger game, sort of a shooter, sort of stealth. You're not getting crazy action doom or call of duty gameplay, but it's tense and very well done. Choose your difficulty settings wisely because it will make all the difference. Naughty Dog is one of the best.

by far the worst optimized game i've ever played on pc. constant crashes, screen artifacting, cutscene glitches and much more. also many annoying things that are impossible to turn off, for example the game messing with the lights on my mouse and keyboard causing them to flash and blink constantly. the game keeps opening on my second monitor and when i use alt+enter to drag it over to my first one it just disappears and i have to reopen the game. i have to unplug my monitor entirely to get it to launch on the correct one. no amount of playing with settings has fixed this. and yet i still buy this garbage because there is no other option on pc. game is great, i love the story, but 80 dollars for this is criminal.

I got an error that when I launch the console appears for 2 frames and disappears, and the game does not start, I tried 1000 and 1 ways to fix the problem, none of them helped me, having switched from the simple Internet to chatgpt, I found out that the problem is in the latest patch and the latest update of Windows 11, I don’t know if this is true or not, there are a couple of other reasons that can create this problem, but it is unlikely that this is a problem in my device, I completed the game on the release itself, but not on Steam, now I decided that I’ll buy it, I’ll play it again, maybe I’ll get all the achievements and I bought both parts. By the way, it’s interesting that the second part starts up perfectly, so I’ll only return the money for this one!

Since the start, game showed issues like freezing screen and crashing. After 7 hours into the game, I experienced a crash after an auto-save and since that, the game don't seems to work, not even starting a new game, because it crashes every time. Tried a lot of fix without any success yet. I have a 4070 TI, a Intel I5-11600k, 16GB ram and a Win 11, a pretty common system.

This game crashes sometimes during fight scenes. I read a forum and it said my GPU was the issue, anyone else heard of this? I have an RTX 3070 and NVIDIA's website itself admitted to causing crashes in TLOU 1 in 2023. I assume they just never fixed it because it doesn't happen with other games.

Recommended for amazing characters and some good story moments. Overall - 8.5/10 Gameplay- 7/10* Story - 9/10 Graphics/Optimisation- 8/10 Characters- 9/10 *subject to change, as based on easier difficulty playthrough.
About my review-
I haven't been able get into any new games or complete them last couple years or so. So it was good how this game pulled me in. I always wanted to play Last of Us or witness the story at least, but recently the show not doing that well solidified my decision to get the game. My playthrough started on hard difficulty, permadeath (per chapter) and that was quite challenging but equally immersive and satisfying. (Played for 10 hours) At the same time, after having stressful weekdays, I just couldn't bring myself to stress myself while playing. So I played instead on Light difficulty (second easiest)- 15 hours. That did make it too easy and hence I missed out on some gameplay aspects. So, the review is incomplete, gameplay likely has more score than I have given. Yet to play DLC as well.
Gameplay-
This is less of a shooter and more of a survival game. The aim itself as sway by default and can be eliminated as you progress/level up. +Especially on higher difficulties the emphasis is on resource management and going stealth route to save it. I do quite like this style of gameplay so enjoyed that. -On the other hand resources are scattered across corners of the maps, so it is quite some work having to go through each possible part of the map. That felt like a mixed bag to me as even that way you may end up missing it. -Even on hard difficulty (have not checked hardest), the enemy ai was very slow to detect the player, that broke the immersion for me. -Just being fan of action heavy games like Doom Eternal, the gameplay left me wanting. This would be subjective take though. Will update if/once I try the higher difficulty thouroughly.
Story-
I had pretty much known about it having watched Youtube playthroughs a decade ago. So for me first half felt okay, near the end though there is one additional chracter/story which caught me off guard and I loved it. The emotional impression that left was quite significant, I did ended up getting quite attached to the characters and hence the whole last 10-20% was quite enjoyable. I really wish I had gotten more time with the characters, more side quest stuff, dialogues etc. Just shows how great job they have done!
Graphics/Optimization-
Since it is not an action heavy game, played with controller, one can turn down the framerate and that helps in performance. I played bit of the game on 4K TV at 30 fps (low/medium settings, performance DLSS) and did not feel anything was lacking. I did not face any crashes/stuttering. Game looks pretty even at lower settings. Would likely be revisiting the game and would be updating the review in that case. Would also be taking my sweet time waiting to start part 2 (hopefully get it on discount).

This game is just amazing and it's one of those games you really have to play once in your life. The remaster makes it look so much better. I was shocked to see how many graphic and other settings are in this game, you can customize it like I've never seen before in any game. The story is what's the best thing about this game and you can replay it so many times and it will always be nice to watch all the cutscenes again and again. Really recommend this game if you haven't played it yet.

I slept on this game for years and it's one of the only games from the early 2010's that I'm so glad I didn't spoil at all. Literally knew nothing about the story until playing this game a few weeks ago and its an absolute masterpiece! 10/10

An incredible single player story experience from start to finish. One that I've slept on for far too long. I'm so glad I finally played it. Even if shooters and/or the zombie/horror genre isn't your thing, I urge you to give it a chance. They offer many different difficulty options, as well as accessibility settings to ensure that this game is accessible to everyone of all skill levels. The graphics in this remake are outstanding. The way they depict the remnants of "old" civilization being taken over by nature is so well done. The foliage, lighting, and texture work is something to behold. The character models, animations, and facial expressions are very impressive, and do such a good job of telling us a lot about the plot and what the characters are feeling without mountains of exposition. The enemy AI is also very impressive. Both infected and non-infected combatants will utilize differing strategies. Mostly aggressive ones, and will often flank and surround the player. Staying mobile and exposed as little as possible is key to your survival. The visual effects, especially during combat feel incredibly satisfying. There's nothing better than blasting the head off a clicker with a shotgun and seeing the blood and guts fly everywhere. Or perhaps chucking a molotov cocktail at a group of them and watching them writhe and burn in a spectacular flaming spectacle. All this leads you to truly get the sense that this is a truly dark, apocalyptic, yet strangely beautiful world. Although you do perhaps lose a bit of the stylized look and feel of the original game, just about every conceivable detail from the classic game vs. the remake has been objectively improved by a massive degree. This game is truly a visual masterpiece. All this is backed up by an incredibly well written, nail-biting, yet truly touching story. You play as Joel, an aging man who has survived two decades of the zombie apocalypse. We are thrust into what is essentially an errand to deliver a young, but stubborn and strong-willed 14 year old Ellie to the "dropoff". At first they don't get along, but over time, they form a beautiful surrogate father/daughter bond that requires no words to explain. A bond so strong that it essentially becomes the crux of the entire plot. A plot with an ending so compelling and well done, with implications so foreboding that it leaves you thirsting for more, yet also fearful for what's to come. This is a MUST PLAY title no matter who you are. Truly an outstanding game that everyone has to experience at least once before they die.

I love this game and like many others this is most definetley a top game for myself like others. The original is amazing, the story telling is so good, character dialogue, character development is amazing. The gameplay mechanics are improved upon from the orginal that I played on PS4 were really good and the achievements were super interesting and fun to try to complete and I am hoping to 100% this game soon. So good and I could spend hours playing this over and over. The cinematics are super good as is the story and dialogue.

The Last of Us Part 1 is the best video game story I've ever experienced, it's a masterpiece. Now that this runs on PC properly, I thought I'd revisit what I coined my favourite game when I played it. Oh my god does it hold up to that title. It is not the best game ever made but, it's my favourite; important difference. TLOU is one of two games I've played where the characters actually act like human beings (the other being Red Dead 2). Instead of one character saying their line and now the other guy says their line, in real life, we cut each other off, sometimes we don't respond at all or we respond with an action instead, we mock each other by repeating what the other person said. Even at the start of the story, the character's faces tell an entire story, it can perfectly depict what they're feeling and thinking without completely hamming it home and turning them into robots. This quality is something you would associate the greatest films ever made, but this product comes with a whole ass video game, and the game-play's damn good. Go with me on this but, sometimes when I play the Yakuza series of games I wonder 'am I just playing the game to get to the cut scenes?'. Yakuza's gameplay is fun no doubt I adore those games but the battle system, at least in the earlier games, isn't gonna win any awards. Although The Last of Us' gameplay isn't the best I've played, it is very engaging and super fun. A realistic cover shooter that rewards the player for thinking tactically like you would in real life paintball or some shit, that's what I imagine i'm doing when I play this and it always works out. Distract a hunter then shoot them with a bow to silently take them out then wait for his friends to discover the body and while they're in shock, sneak up and take them out stealthy... until someone sees you or you shoot someone then just shoot everybody and chop them up with a machete. Both styles work and I think it's fun to do a bit of both. Apparently this took me 20 hours to beat and get all achievements. It felt like 5 hours. It's an absolute breeze, a game I never want to put down even after my 4th play through. I love the characters so much, you can relate to them so well because they seem so real. When I compared the cut scenes to film, I really mean that, so many emotionally charged moments that only humans could understand. Why does Joel refuse to take the picture of him and his daughter? This is something an alien may ask but we understand why. He doesn't want the reminder, he wants to bury everything away, surviving is all that's important. As the game goes on though, this husk of a human slowly starts stepping back into that father role. Joel and Ellie are some of the best characters I've seen in media and the supporting cast is anything but lacking. If your PC can run this properly and you can go in semi-blind, I can't recommend this enough. Why did they remaster this twice? I don't know. It's extremely unnecessary but kinda cool to have.

For me The Last of Us Part I is the greatest story game I have ever experienced. From the moment I started playing, I was utterly captivated by its world. The animations and the overall ambiance are simply phenomenal, creating an incredibly immersive and believable post-apocalyptic setting. Playing this game truly feels like I'm playing a film. The seamless transitions between gameplay and narrative are masterful, making every moment feel purposeful and impactful. The great dialogues that unfold while you're actively playing are a particular highlight, deepening the characters and the unfolding drama. And when the cinematics do kick in, they are nothing short of fascinating, pulling you further into the emotional core of the story. I think Naughty Dog decided they wanted to make the greatest story game of all time, without any doubt, they did. The journey of Joel and Ellie is a poignant, brutal, and unforgettable masterpiece that has left a lasting impression on me. I'm eagerly looking forward to experiencing the next part of this incredible saga.

This is the best story based game ever in my opinion. I would encourage everyone to get this game if they like 3rd person shooter, story driven games. Play this and you'll get hooked and have to play Part II.

Couple of disclaimers: I'm a diehard PC gamer so console ports aren't usually very high on my list of games to play. Secondly, I only played the game because of my love for the TV show. So here's what I thought... I finished the main story and prequel story in under 20 hours. Not a lot of time by my estimation... I don't play a lot of over-the-shoulder / Gears of War-type shooters, so getting used to combat took a minute. About half way through the game, I started wondering how much gameplay was actually in the game. It felt more like an interactive movie where you watch a LOT and interact occasionally. The crafting and exploration are basic. Now, as for the good stuff... the graphics and story are amazing. Even though I kinda knew what was going to happen (can't unring that bell) the story is heart-wrenching. The scenery is breathtaking, the indoor environments are creepy and detailed, and you can see every nuance of Ellie and Joel's body language. It's just plain gorgeous. Towards the end, I really started getting creative with combat and it multiplied the entertainment. The game difficulty, on normal setting, was challenging but fun. I don't know how replayable the game is, but this first run for me was truly special.

"That's alright, I believe him"... The journey of Joel and Ellie in this grand scheme of a slice of a master piece that is bestowed upon us, creating a game and a story line that has a plot, character development, and interactions in the game that consistently keep the player engaged the whole way through this. I love linear, and story telling games, that not only keep a good interest for the player this did exactly that. I have heard only great things about this game, and the season one of the show that has come out now, I have been keeping an eye on it for sometime now and finally indulged into getting this. And I am super glad that I did. For anyone that has not played this since the originally date of release like me the game mechanics are EXACTLY identical to the franchise of the title series of "Tomb Raider" but don't let that sway you because the game story is completely different, however from the crafting and the looting and how you pick items up is again, exact same to the other game title. The games main characters are obviously Joel and Ellie, along your journey you meet people during that time, the game even gives a back story to each of the characters to better understand them that they are two broken individuals that create a unique bond between them that have experience heart break, and loss, recuperate that with each other. The only issue I did see and have with the game is that it did crash out on me on two different occasions. During two different cut-scenes the game did wig out on making my camera shake uncontrollable to the point where I could see outside of the play area and seeing the game in almost "outside of the map" type of thing, it was during the scene where Joel was in the bus getting trapped by the water and was trying to get out near the end of the game. In my opinion, this is a stellar of a game! ONLY due to the fact that this game has been out for almost over a decade now from original release date, I would encourage getting it on a sale but it is not a requirement to wait in my opinion. This game hits the nail on the head on everything that a game should be.
