Cats & Dice

At first after playing it, I thought it was a bit of a mock of Bingle Bingle and originally thought it was similar to it with the difference being Dice themed. After playing some more, I feel like I see more the Balatro gimmick to it and that I really like how the mechanics work.

Some of the cat and item descriptions are a bit janky but you’ll soon figure out what they do. I was basically expecting balatro with cats (which this definitely is) but it’s also very much it’s own game and has way more interesting and original mechanics than I thought would be the case. Some of the cat/item synergies are incredibly cool and there’s an impressive number of viable builds to win a run even on brutal mode. Never felt like I hd to wait for certain cats or items, and always feel like I can see where I went wrong after a loss (despite the occasional rage at rng) Took me ten hours to beat a run on the hardest mode so good value for money if you’re in the mood to roll dice and watch number increase
