Short, fun game with a lot of charm—just a couple rough edges. Overall, I really enjoyed it. The moment-to-moment gameplay is tight and responsive, especially in the main missions. For a game made by just two people, the level of polish in most of the combat and movement is quite impressive. That said, the three missions where you control the larger ship felt like a misstep—at least on controller (I didn’t test mouse and keyboard). The otherwise fluid controls become clunky and super frustrating. The ship takes up a big chunk of the screen, and since your bullets don’t persist offscreen, it turns into a constant struggle just to get enemies in view long enough to deal damage. Still, the rest of the game more than makes up for it—especially the final boss fight, which was a highlight. Swapping out those big-ship missions for more encounters like that would really elevate the whole experience. Even as-is, though, this is a strong little indie title that deserves more attention.

Very fun! Plays perfectly on the Steam Deck. I completed the story and I hope they add more. It was well done and the levels offer nice variety. I also hope they add some other modes for more replayability.

Pretty good! TLDR: Jets'N'Guns lite; you get your money's worth of fun. Can recommend if you like fly-and-shoot-everything-without-getting-shot games. Other assorted thoughts on the game: Takes itself more-or-less seriously, there's a ye olde pulpy scifi story being told... But that doesn't matter that much in a shmup game :> The "high HP, low speed, low damage and low evade" ship model is... not great compared to the "glass cannon" and "jack of all trades" as the bullet hell mechanics expect you to dodge more than "tank hits". Most upgrades are a " + % to base stat" but again - "lite". The Big Ship levels are a neat change of pace.

Fantastic game! The developers on Discord are passionate about this game. It plays like a roguelite with upgrades, research, and meta-progression, and it’s quite challenging but not in any cheap way. You’ll know what you did wrong and what you’ll need to upgrade, swap, or approach in the next round. The enemies are good at attacking and defending. I’m quite picky about games that I purchase, and this is the one I’ve been playing the most recently. Anyone who likes shooters, space shooters, roguelites, or developers that care about their game should add this to their collection. I’m running it on a MacBook M2 Air and it plays perfectly with a keyboard and mouse. Be sure to join their Discord to provide them feedback or suggestions. I look forward to many more hours of playing and future updates.

A fun twin stick shooter that can be 100% in about 6-8 hours. The story is window dressing to give an excuse to fly around and shoot the enemies (we're here for the explosions and not expositions anyway). Each level has main and optional objectives which provide temporary buffs and currency (between mission upgrades). There is a "catch-up" mechanic in the weapon upgrades (lower grade weapons get a discounted cost) so you can experiment with different weapons without breaking the bank.

EDIT: Beat the game on Normal! And died a lot, ha ha [strike]In the middle of Chapter 2, dying a lot[/strike], but that's part of the fun! Really well done, lots of enemy and weapon variety, aesthetics and sound are pretty nice, as well. Upgrade system is inconsistent though. Each upgrade increases a number of stats, one of which reduces the cooldown of that weapon by 0.1 seconds (zero point one). So, even after five upgrades, which is significant, the cooldown is reduced by a mere half second (ex. base is 11 seconds, five upgrades later, it's 10.5 seconds), while the other stats changes can be easily felt right away. Is this a bug? Was this meant to be one whole second per upgrade? Anyway, that's probably my biggest criticism of the game, which is fairly minor. Not much replay value, aside from doing it all again on a higher difficulty, so no roguelite elements (yet?). But if you want something that respects your time, this is it. :) As of the time of writing, the game is at 1.0 and the devs said they are planning to add more. Go buy it!
