I really want to recommend this game. It is an amazing concept, lots of fun figuring out combos and learning how to game works. However, I absolutely BLASTED through both normal and hard modes and after playing around some more on the scaling difficulty, I just don't see any reason to continue playing; there is no more content to do outside of "beat the game" or anything to unlock. I was hoping to sink many hours into this game, but I am choosing to refund it instead. Had this been an early access game, I would probably continue to play, but seeing as "this is it", I can't currently recommend it. I'll definitely come back sometime, if there is ever any content updates.

Game is so much fun, the only issue i have with it is that i genuinely want more content. More characters and skills and enemies would be amazing.

simple Yet addictive, new ways to play every time. Only thing i wish for is an endless mode as some runs take less then 10 minutes.

Fun game. However I feel like the "No complicated controls" note in the store description is almost a bad joke. It's not a lie, the game does have very simple controls. The problem is, and I get the feeling this applies mostly to the English translation of the game, the the way that skills work is often described... roughly. You can fit a lot more Kanji in the description boxes, so space constraints may be the culprit here, but it leads to skills behaving in ways that you wouldn't expect from reading the description and skills and passives that aren't described well enough to know what their actual effect is. This ironically complicates the game greatly, and not in a good way. That being said, the game's got a lovely style and the game actually is pretty fun even with the issues with understanding what does what. The auto-battling system is fun and the game has is great for the type of game that you can pick up, play for a bit, then put down and return later. It's pretty fun mixing and matching builds. I'd love to see more of it, Plus I mean for the price it's great. Probably even more-so if you can read Japanese. Either way, I'd still recommend it.

good game idea and i love the pixel art tho it is a little lacluster in replay ability since theres only 2 characters and a limited amount of items most being bad edit: would be cool if steam workshop mod support was added

The big question for this one is replayability. I tried the demo and enjoyed it, and I found that there was actually a bit more going on in the full version than I expected. There are only two characters, and stages go up to 3-4. There are a bunch of new skills/conditions on top of the demo as well. I'm finding it really fun to specifically avoid certain skills and try to win with different builds. There's also some variety in bosses (e.g. you may want to deal a specific amount of damage per turn, not as much as possible) that might break your build and require you to rearrange on the fly to survive. But to be honest, for context, I was worried when I bought it that I would only want to do like 5-10 runs. I'm happy because in the end I'll end up doing 20-30 runs (quick note: don't think you can save mid-run so I left the game on a lot in the background when I was busy, so my play time is not representative). I do hope that there is new content added at some point but I haven't seen anything suggesting that there will be. This is probably not one you'll be replaying for weeks... try the demo, and only buy it if you want to try a bunch more hours of setting up different builds and then shelving it. Update: there is a challenge "bonus" boss if you do the NG+ mode up to 5 on each character which gives a bit of replayability as well.

Game is a real banger and I love the concept. It's a bit short, so pick it up on sale. That said, I really hope the developer adds more characters and content.

It's a great little game. Really like the concept but it needs more content, more chars to unlock, more enemies, library for unlockables, a bit of qol like a combat log, etc.

Best min-maxing game in 2025! My only problem with this game is that the translation or the descriptions could be a little bit better. Otherwise, I feel like this is on the same level as Slay the Spire — very unique for sure!

The content is way too little, managed to finish the max difficulty in just a couple of hours, the conditions for the activations feel often times not useful and they only work with fixed values and not with variables, i get it's a game and not actual programming, but it feels really poor, also, once you manage to get through the first part the game is really easy and it lasts for very little. would be cool to have longer adventures, more content, maybe an infinite mode, for how it is now it gets very repetitive pretty quick

This game is fun because it requires strategy. If you get the right strat, you can easily one-shot bosses.

Pretty amazing game, that has that coding text block to it, and I really love how you get almost instantaneous feedback on every condition and skill you put down in your plan when fighting an enemy. The only thing this game is missing, is a copy plan button, and steam achievements. Other than that, just some more content, but I still haven't beat all the difficulties. Since going for a 1 turn win is one of the greatest accomplishments imo, and spending time figuring out if its possible makes for great gameplay too.

It's fun. But I hope they would at least make it so that when you re-roll anything, the options you wanted to re-roll wouldn't appear again. There was this one case that after I re-rolled, I received all the same options again just in different places.

The game was a lot of fun and a rather unique battle system that was interesting to learn! Like others mention it could definitely use more content but I definitely felt like I got my money's worth and with a few more characters added into the game I could see it being one of my favorite games

Cool concept and mechanics, but it becomes very easy to beat and the result is a lack of challenge. Short but fun.

Great game and has some amazing mechanics. Sadly there aren't many different builds you can run for the two characters. Would add a lot more replay-ability with some more skills, relics, and characters. Great game, would recommend.

Quite nice short but replayable game. Each character has different mechanics which takes 1-2 runs to get grasp on. Certainly worth it's price. Pros: - cute graphics - Shop-chan - interesting game loop Cons: - lack of "endless mode" where you could really tinker with the skill plan system - some enemies can easily ruin your run and there's no way to work around that

Fun game! Definitely worth a buy. It's a fun, charming rougelike with the unique mechanic of using conditions (simpler if/then statements) to plan each battle. There are a lot of good items, attacks, and special condition statements to find, as well as different difficulty levels. I do wish there were more characters. The characters in the game are entirely different, with different mechanics, available loot, items, and attacks. I love how different they are. However, I still wish there were more characters. But for $7, this is SO worth it! Even if you just play each character a few times, it will be well worth double the price.

Super fun game with tons of variety and really fun combos. There's some missing translations, so some tooltips are still in Japanese, but it's mostly on things you already know how it works so no real issues there.

This is a very interesting concept of a game. It reminds me a lot of another game that kind of turns into an auto battler once you get high enough (Spell Disk) I can see the idea of what you want from this game and at 7$ I think it was worth tossing towards it, if nothing else to get some fun and to challenge yourself in thinking outside of a normal deckbuilder mentality. I think balance needs another good pass - either through more enemy variety or through different scaling options. You have two characters to pick from and while they are different enough to both be enjoyable in their own right, I was only able to fully progress and beat the game on the mage one since I was able to read the correct meta to use (summons are busted). Give this game a shot if you got some money to spare, support the smaller devs!

It looks and feels like a mobile port, but the gameplay is solid: start with a simple "oh I hope I can survive" build, and over the course of a dozen or so fights, enhance it into a combo engine that tears down bosses within the first turn. There seem to be two distinct heroes, and they both let you push their own mechanics beyond their limits. For each hero mechanics, there are multiple mechanics that have their own parameters to push and exploit. Most enemies have their own unique mechanic, which may or may not require you to tweak your build or setup a secondary build/plan to deal with it. So far the fights feel like fun puzzles early on, and later on I mostly feel like an evil genius for totally outclassing my opponent. The game lets me be creative and feel good. For this low price, it's an easy recommendation.

The game is great when the effects/modifiers work. I am convinced this is a very clever and thought out game that unfortunately I don't think I can master lol. The game allows you to sculpt and learn by building out an attack plan combining attacks with modifiers/effects to perfectly slam mobs and get better payouts the quicker ya defeat em. The faster the fight ends and if you are damaged gives you a better score. -My issue is from my experience the game doesn't like activating on trigger-able modifiers like ones that say trigger when mobs hp=x or your shield=x activate. Not saying don't use em and be better than me just don't lose your mind if it doesn't work. -Other smaller opinion the game breaks its combat systems into plans plan 1 occurs then plan 2 happens next turn and then back to 1. Would really like if plans could be expanded to be longed but the plan box is to small in width to allow for more complex plans. thx 4 reading

Very fun, but wish an endless mode was available as many of the skills already seem catered to it. A third upgrade rank for skills would also be nice and does not seem super hard to implement. Only purchase if you're willing to pay hamburger price for a game that takes about as long as eating a hamburger.

Amazing game, only problem is that is absolutely addictive. The pop up chests, the sound effects. I'm in love. I really hope that the dev makes more, more levels, characters, enemies, skills. SERIOUSLY top tier game. It creates this perfect atmosphere, where losing really feels like a skill issue. Like sure, you need "luck". But, if you use your brain enough- almost any situation can be overcome. I can't tell you enough how much I love it. Already beat the 5 hard difficulty levels on the mage. If you like programming and problem solving like me, give this a try fr

I had a really fun time with this game and would say I got my 7 dollars worth. I usually judge a game by how much fun I'm able to have and for how long. For me, someone who likes a challenge, I enjoyed it up till I beat the lvl 5 adventure with both characters. 25 hours is pretty good for 7 bucks. That said, I wish there was even more content to enjoy. It's well worth the money but it sucks that there isn't anything left to do. I would like to see more added to this in the future or maybe a second game.

Fun game, I will definitely come back to it when there is more content. I have tried most of the builds available, and completed both characters on +5 within the 11 hours playtime. Even for folks' dollar an hour metric, it still checks out and is enjoyable. Both characters at least have multiple viable build paths. There are two mobs that I think should be reworked, since they have the same gimmick if you having to tune your damage on turn 1 VERY heavily or else you just die. I always have to just go setup a separate plan just for those fights, and it's not a wow this is difficult thing, it's just a "how do I get the most setup for the second round while doing the pitiful amount of damage in the first round" The only sort of confusion I ever had was running with some crazy combinations of Reverse World with sturdy/strength/shield swapping - could basically get infinite shield, swap it, and get infinite energy, it was quite broken and behaved very differently between different mobs and was confusing. Sometimes swapping shields would just insta-kill me, it also seemed to have a built-in timer for my infinite looping shield generation running on it's own automatically my turn. (Equivalent Exchange + Upgraded Shield Breaker/Shatter whatever it's called).

Cool game, really lacking in content. To the dev, I recommend you lock some skills and abilities behind progression. Would give some incentives to play to unlock the skills. Really needs additional characters and skills. I still recommend because it's a fun and unique roguelike that's good for a few hours of fun.

I think you can enjoy 5-10 runs of this, but the amount of content available seems pretty shallow and it is extremely easy. It's also quite imbalanced, in your favor. Every run I do feels completely broken with nothing the enemies can do aside from one enemy that swaps damage and shield. Multiple times I've thought, "That shouldn't work like that, that's too broken." Dragon Form into Bomb. Reverse World and self-damage. Blood Claw in general. I don't even know what the final boss does because any time I reach it my existing build is already killing it in 1-2 turns with 0 damage so I haven't had to read anything. Not once has the mameter even been a concern. The enemies don't really do enough unique stuff to make you need to rework your skill plan, with one or two exceptions. And the conditions available to you are widely useless or oddly chosen. There's stuff like "enemy has at most X HP," but no "at least X HP." There's "you have even energy," but no "you have odd energy." Most of my runs have zero to two conditions in the final build, making it less programming and more just skill building. When I think of a condition I could use to make the build cooler, it's frequently not in the list. It could be cool with more content and harder monsters with unique mechanics you had to work around, and conditions to enable you to work around them. Maybe it gets harder at difficulty 5+ but I feel like I've done all the builds that interest me already and don't have much motivation to push higher.

For me (a software developer) for the price (not financially strained) this game is worth it. :D But I wish I could unlock more characters to play. Or that there were more game modes (like an endless mode). Or a way to increase the 40 action per turn limit (like a controllable relic or something). :( Maybe I can hope for a content update? X3 ... or DLC content... D:
